1 What? I’m Confused!

"No, no, no!!!! Stupid ****ing program, he wasn't the soul you were supposed to take! I should never have made you and done everything myself!" Seeing the scene in front of me I had no idea what was going on. All I knew was some blonde teen ikemen (the attractive guy were all jealous of) was yelling at a computer, which was confusing in its self.

"Hi, what is going on here," I ask him politely, just in case he is somewhat important. Hearing my polite voice he turned around and took a look at me.

"Haha, sorry about letting you see such and unsightly display," the teen said in an apologetic tone.

"What was that earlier, something about a program?" I regretted that I asked the question immediately after, as he immediately launched into his explanation. The first thing I got, is he is a God, one of many. Second he got lazy and made a soul guiding program to bring people to the afterlife. Except that it started acting up and pulled away people's souls that were perfectly fine, essentially killing them. This left some very interesting injuries with a person in a coma, like getting hit by a car at 70 miles/h (~154 km/h). I missed a lot of the stuff after the 'soul program' so now I'm just confused as hell.

Feeling like I have a headache from the information overload, I could tell no one as asked about his passion in a long time. Thankfully he finished and got on to why I'm here, instead of the normal afterlife. "You're here because my program ****ed up, anyone who dies early gets to have another chance. So, you're going to be reincarnated in Herial, this world is like any of the typical Japanese type fantasy worlds you've seen. Beast-kin, demons, elves, humans you name it they probably have it. Good for you, you don't have to be a hero, but along with the skill you choose you'll also get some top tier stat boosts. Here's a database of all the skills you can get," he says as he summons a new computer with a stand and pushes it to me.

Catching the stand, I first search up learning on the database. 'Maybe if I learned more I won't be confused all the time,' I think hoping to myself that it will help with my constant state of being confused. That's when I found it.

"Great choice, most people just want instant power. Like wanting to be able to know all high level spell right when they arrive. With this skill you can do all that eventually through accumulating knowledge," the God said to me after I chose my skill. Embarrassed at the compliment, especially since that's not why I got it I just stayed quiet.

After a long pregnant silence I finally said something, "I just thought it would be a useful skill. I didn't think much of it."

"Well whatever it was, you chose a great skill. Now don't waste it, most people would go crazy for a skill like that," he said in a serious tone looking directly at me. "Well now that everything is set, I guess it's time to send you down to Herial. Good luck down there, and don't do something stupid that will get you killed. Send him down to Herial program."

-Sending Joshua down to Herial, problem sending down to planet. Three errors made, race, gender and age. Selecting race, Cat-kin. Selecting gender, female generating new name Erin. Selecting age, 16.

"What do you mean there were three ****ing errors when you sent him down! Gods ****ing damn it! Alright that is the last straw, you're being dismantled. The free time isn't worth all the problems you've caused anymore. I guess I need to make this up to her now I guess." Snapping his fingers he sent down an additional blessing to Erin. Hoping that it would somewhat alleviate the shock she would feel on reaching Herial. Following that he started to tear apart the other computer that was in the room from the beginning.
