3 |The Deal|

"Neffius... Neffius... Neffius my dearest brother I have not come to kill, trick, or cheat you. Please be at peace... I know you are expanding your influence and this puts you in the weakest state you have ever been in, in your life. I found it tricky just sneaking in with this vassal much less projecting my appearance upon it like I am doing now. Your realm is just so very tightly guarded."

Neffius seemed to reassure by these words, however, he did not let Mir's words sway him as a light mist pervaded the area and a fog was blown in. The humanoid body of water he currently possessed was just an outside extension of his body in the same way Mir possessed a servant of his.

" That does not matter... I won't go down easy even if you wanted to attack me... but truly why have you come to invite me?", Neffius inquired since he was never one to enjoy or even attend any of Mir's idiotic and deadly endeavors.

" Well, it is actually very simple... I must confess that you are not the only one I reached out to and in fact, I called everyone.", Mir said with a guilty glimmer in his eyes before he paused in the same spot he was before directly in front of Neffius.

"What!?... doe- does that mean you invited Rein and Osiris? ", He seemed a little angry and disgusted when he heard their words. Furthermore, the latter name made the disgust in his voice even more pronounced.

"Yes, yes be as annoyed as you want but you know, you must give me face now with them coming right? ", Mir said with a Matter-oh-factly voice.

"Whatever Mir I will be there, but do not count on me staying there the whole time."

"That is is fine", Mir responded quickly and without hesitating, because he had just received what he wanted. He seemed to joyful even, but his naturally sinister air made it hard to think he wasn't confirming his plot to murder someone.

Mir turned, ready to walk away when a chant drifted through the gates of the shrine. Just seconds later the source appeared and the worshipers of the sea god came for daily prayers. They walked in, in groups of two and after stepping through the gates the left partner would walk off to the left, while the right went to the right. They would kneel facing the shrine and bowing their heads low. They did not see the projections or the vassal of Mir. In fact, there was nothing out of the ordinary to them aside from the foggy premises. The group consisted of hundred people who were split evenly. Fifty on the left had found spots in the gardens around the shrine pray and the same on the right. They each fell into a world of their own as they poured their all into their scriptures states. After, a few minutes passed an 18-year-old girl appeared at the gates with two old men to the left and right of her. She had an ethereal aura that made those who caught even her silhouette seem inferior. The old men at her side had looks of fever leaking from their expressions as the shrine came into view. They stepped forward and bowed.
