1 End : Beginning

The rain pouring down as if showing their sadness of something would soon to be lost. Thunder rumble could be heard everywhere. In this somewhat depressing atmosphere, a young teenager watching his now favorite anime 'Overlord' on the tablet his parents bought him to reduce the stress he may have while being hospitalized.

He is humming and put his tablet to the side. He thought "Wow, the magics that Ainz use sure are amazing!! 'the Goal of All life is Death' Its so cool when he says that."

As cheerful as he may seems on the inside, his appearance say the otherwise, pale complexion, thin body, and his gloomy eyes. Added with almost emotionless face he have, if other people saw him they will feel pity and sympathetic.

He was already in the hospital since he was child or maybe longer. That's one reason why he is not good at showing his emotion, beside his parents and those who were close to him maybe no other people had ever seen him smiling. Rarely interacting with other people make him rather detached from the society.

In what kind of condition he was right now? Well, the simplest way to say it was 'caged bird'. That's not one hundred percent correct either, he could go outside but he doesn't want to trouble somebody else if his illness relapse.

Doctor had done a check up on him and says that it was already a miracle he could live to this day. Born prematurely made his body weak and he was diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder. Many attempt had been done to cure him but to no avail, the results was miniscule to say at least.

Holding to the hope he may be cured one day, His will to live may even shame those who say they have iron will. Hoping a miracle to happen and work its magic to cure him.

"The ring Ainz had on him 'Wish Upon Star' wish that thing were real" the boy sigh as he turn his head to the windows in his room. "If only magics were a thing I can over buff myself and live like a normal person, hehehe" he giggle at his own thoughts.

Seeing its almost time to drink his medication, he get off the bed and tried to grab it then take a glass of water from the side of table. The glass slip from his hand and the water spill all over the floor. He clutches his head because of sudden headache. His body start to feel very weak and he fell down to the floor.

Instinctual feelings to closed his eye came, he tried to resist it but fail miserably.

"Is it the times already? Tch" he clicked his tongue "Mom, Dad, please forgive me for always being a burden for both of you. If only you guys were not so occupied with working overtime to earn enough money for my medical expenses maybe you guys will be together with me right now" the boy sigh as his body grown weaker overtime.

The last thought of the boy before he closed his eyes was "Wish I have the power to rewrite fate and create miracle". For some odd reason he could also hear a voices directly from his head "Thine wish has been granted….." The voices were ancient and mystical. Before he could questions it, his mind went blank and lose his consciousnesses.

Somewhere in a ruined world, two shadowy figure could be seen talking to each other. Their translucent body give them the impression of being spirited away.

"is that that truly the right thing to do?" ask the smaller figure as she looks into her companion with a sad countenance.

"I don't know but this will be the start of everything for the other me" answering his companion with a resoluteness drawn all over his face. He start to give her a headpat.

She feels annoyed and happy at the same time. "grr… I remember, you once told me that the first time you awoken your power was when your group almost annihilated by your own friend berserk power… by awakening your power early, wouldn't it change everything? Maybe I will not met you like before…." Said the girl with the last part sounds like a murmur.

The man can only sigh at his girl antic. "You need to trust me more Steph, it is needed to be done so we could save everyone and prevent that abomination from destroying everything that we loved"

The world they were in filled with many ruin of collapse building, burned tree, and much more. Monster roaming freely destroying everything in its path. Trace of great battle could seen everywhere eyes could see, back to both figure.

As they spoke to each other, the world around them start crumbling. Their body start turning into a light particle "ah, the time is up. Hope he could do what I failed before" the man looks into Steph "until next time I guess? Goodbye Steph" said him affectionately to Steph.

"Uh huh, see you soon •••••" as she wave into the man, both of them disappeared from the world.

The world was no more. It is the ending of this world but the end is also the beginning of something new. Unknown to both people things they have done will change the predicament they were in. The journey of our hero starts from now.
