25 Chapter 24: The true meaning of power (+18)

Awakening sometime later to a barrage of voices shouting, Conan regains slowly back his five senses only to discover a sixth while listening to the voices.

(Ran) ''No dad. I will stay with mom. Our agreement is canceled.''

(Kogoro) ''Agreement or no agreement. You are still my daughter and I will not let you live here.''

(Erin) ''Aren't you forgetting something... My dear ex-husband?!''

(Officer Sato)''Please lets just all calm down.''

(Kogoro) ''What have I forgotten old hag?... As long as Ran is a minor, she stays with her legal guardian, which would be me!''

(Officer Sato) ''Shut up Kogoro. You aren't helping your case!''

(Kogoro)''Just shut it, good for nothing officer...''

Having gathered all the strength in his body Conan is able to get up from the sofa. Feeling his body many times weaker than usual, he drags himself into the parlor, from where he had heard the voices coming. Turning around the corner he finds Erin a Kogoro already in a tussle with Ran in between them. The short-haired and athletic Officer Sato, as well as the now matured Ai aka Shiho, are the only observers to the play in front of them.

Shouting Kogoro slaps Erins face, sending her to the ground.''... the police isn't as helpful as it used to be in my days!''

''Stop it father, don't hit mother! I will go with you but I will not strip for you anymore! I have a boyfriend now and also not a virgin anymore.'' Ran.

''You had sex you little slut, wait until we go home. You already had a punishment coming after your stunt in the hotel room. Now I can just a new one on...'' Kogoro suddenly stops talking, turning slightly pale.

''Kogoro let go of the girl!'' Commands Officer Sato, ready to draw her gun if neat be.

Finally shaken of his body drowsiness, Conan has his mind filled with rage. Just thinking how great it would feel to just strangle Kogoro to death, the man literally starts choking. Unaware at first that he is using his powers Conan force chokes the human waste. Focusing on his rage, he is even able to lift the struggling Kogoro in the air and of the ground.

Seeing the handprint on Erins face and the tears still running down Rans' face, Conan just wants to snap the man's neck. With just thought it could be done, but something inside of him refuses to comply, reminding him that this man despite his faults was once loved by both Ran and Erin. -If not for your death possibly affecting them, you would be death.- Letting Kogoro faint from lack of oxygen, he lets him go and unceremoniously hit the floor.

Having dealt with the man, Conan has suddenly faced a huge problem. -How do I stop using my powers?- With his original target dealt with, Conan is unable to control his powers and just aimlessly disperses energy shockwaves all around himself.

The metal power emanating from his body lets everybody accept Ai faint, the moment they come in contact with it. Ai transforms into Shiho and tries to get close to Conan whose powers have gone haywire and totally out of control. Seeing the furnishings start to fly into the air, literally defying gravity, she knows that she has to come up with something or the whole mansion would be destroyed.

Thinking while trying to get close to him, Shiho finds a magic cube fly out of a now open cupboard containing toys. Seeing the cube, she gets an idea. Still moving closer to calm him down, she feels the pressure build-up on her with every step.

''Calm down Conan. Please concentrate on my voice. Nod if you can hear me?'' Shiho tells him, hearing her own voice morph under the untamed and rising pressure.

Seeing him nod, she takes the final step and goes close enough to him so that she can hug him. Forcing him to look at the magic cube she tells him to focus on it. Feeling the woman behind him slowly lose consciousness, Conan turns around and catches her in his arms. Before the magic cube can slip out of her hand, Conan catches it mentally. Seeing the cube float up into the air, he starts to focus more and more on it.

Concentrating more and more on the cube, the pressure of his power slowly lessens. The more he looks at the chaotic state of the cube, the more annoyed and obsessive Conan gets. The chaos of colors totally contrary to his own sense of order makes him nearly crush the cube. The moment the pressure is only building one-sidedly, The cubes making up the magic cube shift. Discovering the possibility to rearrange the color of the cube, something shifts in Conan's mind. As if he had grown two additional hands, he uses them to solve the cube puzzle.

Feeling the pressure constantly lower until it seemingly vanishes in its entirety, the woman slowly awakens one after another. The first one to regain the senses is Erin, followed by Ran and Officer Sato. Seeing the Officer regain her senses, Erin is quick to act and takes possession offer Santos gun and while at it chains the woman to a nearby heater with the police issued handcuffs.

Turning around after admiring Erin also finds the transformed awakened Shiho in Conan's arms. Seeing Conan's dazed eyes, Shiho extracts herself easily out of his embrace by just transforming back into Ai.

''Conan are you alright?'' Asks Ran, seeing her mother, Ai and the now fully conscious officer stair open-mouthed at Conan.

Only seeing a light nod from their lover, both mother and daughter make a sigh of relief.

''What is wrong with you people?'' Asks Sato finally noticing herself being chained to a heater.

Looking at the officer, whose gun she is still holding in her hand, Erin says. ''The officer could become a problem...''

''I hope you don't think about killing her!'' Says Ran, looking a bit horrified by her mother's frosty eyes who is fiddling with a gun while deeply contemplating the best course of action.

''I don't think that would be necessary...'' Says Ai, before addressing the still deeply immersed in solving the magic cube boy. ''... Conan. Are you able to focus on other thinks while solving the cube?...''

Seein him frown for a second before nodding, Ai asks him. ''... Are you able to read my mind?...'' -If you can do this, could you please try to invade the officer's mind and erase her short time memory?-

While Ai does this Conan becomes aware, that constantly using his powers on a 'Magic Cube' is not only suppressing his power, it is also training his control over it, sharpen his senses and most importantly it stops him from hurting anybody by accident.

Using his newfound control over his power, he splits his attention between cube solving and following His plan. Penetrating the officer's mind, the woman's eyes turn dazed.

''Sold to the man in Red for 50 million yen!...'' Conan hears an auctioneer suddenly announce. Invading Officer Sato's mind Conan finds himself in a room full with a man in businesses suits, himself included.

''... You may now take your new pet.'' He once again hears the auctioneer say. Trying to comprehend the situation, Conan realizes that he himself is wearing the only red business suit. Going with the situation he moves up to the stage. Reaching the top of the stage Conan finds a nude collar wearing Sato and a destroyed looking officer Takagi holden the leash attached to Sato's collar.

''I am sorry my cute Miwako...'' Says Takagi, stealing his voice, while caressing Sato's buttocks. ''... now go to your new master and be a good pet to him.''

Being handed Sato's leash, Takagi suddenly vanishes, the man, stage, and auctioneer all vanish. Now alone with a leashed and naked Sato Conan notices, that the woman is wearing some kind of costume. On the top of her head some kind of animal ears are attached and on her back in between her buttock, he finds some kind of tail protrude out of her butthole.
