2 Unexpected

Your POV:

Me and my friend woke up earlier than normal in order to stop by my house,get my books and then get to school.

(We were going too different schools but it was because of our education status)

Plus...I needed to talk to my dad about last night's incident.

Before we left b/f/n's home I checked my phone.

I saw a message from Leo.

Leo-Good morning,Y/n.😊

That message immediately made me smile.It was only 3 words,but being said or even sent by someone specific,it really makes your day.

I texted back to him

Y/n-Good morning Leo💕

I placed my phone in my jacket pocket and left the house with my friend.

We began walking through the busy streets.Our homes weren't that far from each other so,we reached my home in no time.Once we were right in front of the door I breathed in deeply.

"Ok..."I looked at my friend."You stay here.I wont be long"

She looked at me quite nervous but she nodded.

With shaking hands I placed the key in the key hole and opened the door.I started walking in the house.It was neatly clean and tidy,just as I left it last night.

"Um...dad?"I asked nervously.

Silence.

"Daaaaad...I'm hooome"

Still no answer.

"Well...maybe he is at work,or sleeping"

I said to myself.I went to my room and picked up my bag.I put my books and notebooks for the day in the bag and starting to head down.

When I headed down I saw my dad sitting on the living room sofa,his back turned towards me.He was kind in a kind of laying down-sitting position,his head hanging from the back of the couch.

Hesitantly,I walked up to him and got the way around to stand in front of him.He looked completely zoned out.On the table I saw an empty bottle of pills.I got scared on the spot.

"Dad?" I snapped my fingers in front of his eyes trying to get a reaction from him.Nothing.

I got scared for a second.I grabbed his shoulders and gently started shaking him.

"DAD!!!"

Shaking,I checked his pulse.My heart dropped when I didnt find it.I checked again,tears already coming down my eyes.

I started crying while performing chest compressions and artificial respiration.My friend must've heard me cause she ran in the house and froze on her tracks when she saw the situation.

She pulled out her phone and dialed 911 for an ambulance.She was talking with someone on the phone but eveything was just a blur to me.I couldn't lose my dad too.I already lost my mom.Im not losing him too.

I tried chest compressions one final time.He didnt move.

I started sobbing when my friend came and hugged me.

"I called 911.They're almost here"She told me trying to comfort me.I couldnt stop crying.

Eventually,the ambulance arrived.The doctors came in.

"What happened?"One do the doctors asked me."I dont know.He was like this when I came home"I said.

They started checking him up.The entire time,they didnt seem very optimistic.

I went to my room and sat on my bed.My friend came to comfort me.

"Hey hey hey,it will be ok.Dont worry"

She said trying to make me feel better,but I knew that it wouldnt be ok.I cried harder on her shoulder.

"I...I didnt even...say to him..." I managed to say when she hugged me tighter

"Shhh.Its ok.Its ok.Im here for you."

My dad was rushed to the hospital.We were informed that he has a very low chance of surviving.

We were waiting in the hall of the emergency part when one of the doctors came to us.

"Are you miss l/n?"

I stood up.

"Yes.Is he ok?"

"I'm really sorry but...your father committed suicide.We couldnt do anything more--"

The moment he said that,I felt that the ground below me disappeared.Like eveything faded away and what's left is darkness.He kept talking but all I could hear was a muffled sound.

I fell on my knees and started crying in my hands.I wanted it to be a bad nightmare.Like I'm in a dream and that I'm about to wake up.My friend held me tight.

Then the doctor pulled sth out of his pocket and gave it to me.

"It was in his jean pocket"

It was a small white envelope

If it is a letter,I didnt want to open it right away.I didnt have the strength to.

The doctor left.I went back to my house and stayed there all day,specifically my bedroom,in my bed,crying.

"I'm sorry dad" I whispered before I drifted into a dreamless sleep.

*After a few weeks*(bout 2 or 3)

Leo's POV:

After I finished my meditation it was time for me to visit her.I was so excited to visit Y/n.We've been texting a lot in the past weeks but I feel like something's wrong,like I needed to check on her.

I hope she is ok though.

I took my katanas and left the lair.I was walking in the sewer tunnels in order to find a manhole cover that was close to her house.

I lifted the civer and went out.I saw her house at the end of the empty road.Her apartment was on the 3rd floor.I climbed on the fire escape and went to her window.

I gently tapped on the glass and waited

After a few seconds I saw her coming towards the window.I smiled at first but when I looked at her sad and teared up face my smile was gone immediately.She opened the window and motioned me to come in.

"Hey.Is everything ok?"

I asked her concerned.She looked up at me and after s few seconds she hugged me tight.

"No,everything's not ok"She said crying.

I hugged her back while she cried.

"Hey hey,calm down.Tell me,what happened?"

She stayed quiet before she spoke.

"He killed himself" she said with a shaky voice.I was confused at first.

"Who did?"

"My...my dad."

My eyes widened and I could feel the same feeling when Splinter died.I know how she felt at the moment.

She needed support.Emotional support specifically.

I scooped her up in my arms and we sat on her sofa.

"Listen y/n."

She looked at me.

"I know how you feel.I just want you to know that I'm here for you,ok?"

She smiled at me still crying.She hugged me again.

"How do you know how it feels?"

She asked me in a calm voice.I never really talked about it much because we all witnessed it happening.But I could feel like I needed to get it off my chest.

"Our father died too"

Her eyes narrowed on me shocked.

"I'm so sorry,I-I didnt mean to make you--"she started saying but I cut her off.

"No no no,its ok.It was a long time ago"

I said smiling at her.I really want to cheer her up bit I dont know how.Wait...

"I think it's time to introduce you to somebody"

She looked at me kind of confused.

"What do you mean?"

"Just come with me"

"Ok"she said as a faint smile appeared on her face.Man,how I love her smile.

We got out oh the house from the fire escape and onto the rooftop.

I held her in my hands as I started jumping from one rooftop to another.

Everytime I jumped,she would hide her head in my chest.She is so cute even when she is tensed.

Finally we reached a manhole cover.

Your POV:

After we got in the sewers,we started walking through,what seemed like,endless tunnels.I started to wonder.Where are we going?I must've been so lost in my thoughts that I didnt even realise we arrived at his house,or how he calls it,their lair.

Ok...2nd chapter done.The time is now...4:24 am and instead of sleeping I am writing a chapter.And I have online lessons in six hours.So um
