10 Getting closer (pt3)

Leo POV:

"You guys are such jerks.Anyways,we'll be there in a few minutes."she said as and hang up the phone.

She turned to me and made an annoyed face.

"I was worried sick about you."

"Well,can say the same about you.Why weren't you answering my calls"

"I was..."she started but stopped.She looked down at something,I followed her and noticed another suitcase between the shopping bags.

"What's with the suitcase?"I asked hesitantly.

She looked at me.

"I err...I got um..."she mumbled something that I couldnt hear.

"I'm sorry,what?"

She started rubbing the back of her neck when,

"My landlord kicked me out"she said sharply.

I was shocked."why?"

"Because after the attack,my neighbors complained and he was forced to kick me out or they would call the police."

She said as if it was the simplest thing ever said on earth.It was like she knew this would happen.

"But dont worry,I guess I'll find another place to rent."

"Are you kidding me?That's not happening.You're going to stay with us."I said.

"Its ok.I dont want to be a bother."

"You're not a bother Y/n.In fact,we would love to let you stay with us.Our home is also yours from now on."

She smiled wide.

"Thanks Leo"She said as she hugged me again.

"Anyways um...I got the stuff we needed so...we're ready for tomorrow."a faint smile appeared on her face.

"That's awesome"I said excited."Let me help you with that".

I said as I took some of the bags she had on the ground and we got into the sewer tunnels.

*time skip to the lair cause I dont have anything else to add during the walk in the tunnels*

Your POV:

We reached the lair.It wasnt entirely quiet if you consider Mikeys occasional screams at the TV while playing his game

"OH COME OON.THAT WASNT EVEN FAIR!"

Or Raphs groaning to Mikey.

Leo helped me take the bags to the kitchen.

We agreed to start decorating everything later because I needed to work on the gifts.

So,I took my suitcase and the bag full of gifts and wrapping paper that I had to kind of cut in half so it would be less noticeable.

*2 hours later*

Finally the gifts are done and hidden under the bed.While I placed the last gift under and covered it with the blanket of the bed I heard someone knocking on the paper slide door behind me.

I went and slid it open,revealing the familiar blue clad turtle.

"Oh,hey Leo."

"H-hi"he stuttered with a smile.Something was very off about him.I should check it out.

"Is everything ok?"I said.He immediately blushed hard and didnt say anything.

"Um..ye-yeah,everything is perfect.I was just trying to ask you if...you are ready to start decorating."

"Of course I am"I said excited.

He smiled at me as we got out of the dojo.

The first thing we started decorating was the Christmas tree.We placed lights around it and the ornaments.

When we needed to put the star on top I used a ladder to reach.At one moment I heard Mikey shouting.

"Pizza is se-AAAAA"hhe shouted as he tripped on the ladder I was on.

I fell off the ladder.I screamed waiting to touch the ground but I fell on someone's lap.

I looked up to see Leo.

"Be careful with the ladder"he said smiling warmly.

I immediately blushed hard."T-Thanks"

I stuttered.I stood up."I'll be in my room"I said as I went into the dojo to my room.

When I closed the door behind me I breathed in deeply.Ever since I first visited the lair I've started having some...odd feelings towards Leo.Whenever he would even talk to me my heart would start beating so fast and I could feel my cheeks burning.

He was the only one to be there when I was going through the darkest times.And not only he was there,he helped me go through these dark times.

The thought of him only makes me smile and blush.Im really happy everything is set up for tomorrow

Karai's POV:

I went back to my room satisfied for the information I gathered.

I opened my notebook to take a look at them

Siblings: Jane l/n.

I turned the page to come across a photo of the four of them.I spotted the girl wearing a black tank top and jeans while holding the girls hand next to her.

Wait...that girl looks really familiar.

"Bring me Johanson.Tell her to meet me in my room" I said to one of the foot soldiers and he immediately left.

I made my way to my room still staring at the photo.I entered my room and placed the photo on my nightstand.

I sat on my bed to think.

After a few seconds I heard a knock on my door."Enter" I said not changing position.

The door opened slowly to reveal our newest member of the foot clan.Abbie Johanson.

She was a 20 year old woman with ginger hair and green eyes.She came close to me.The Shredder recruited her when she came to us and told us she had insane medical knowledge and already knew about self defense.

That she needed to focus her anger on sth.And not gonna lie,she was pretty good at learning.

"You asked to see me Miss Karai?"she asked after bowing to me.I looked at the nightstand as I took the picture and showed her the photo.

"Is that you on the photo?"I aksed directly,sharp and emotionless while.looking deep into her eyes.

She took one brief look at the photo."No,miss karai.This looks nothing like me" she said while looking down,bowing again.

"Do you see her?" I point my finger at

Y/n on the photo.She looks at the photo again.

"Yes"she said.

"I need you to watch her like a hawk"I said putting emphasis on the word hawk.She looked at me and nodded.

"Have you seen her before?"I asked out of curiosity.Just to see if she has.

"Just once..."she started.My eyes widened as I looked at her.

"Where?"I asked."At the mini market I'm working part time.She came in today and she bought angel stuff."

She explained."ok...you need to stop working there.She might notice you and it will ruin the plan.You want to take out your anger,dont you?"

She nodded."Then do as I say.Quit your job.You wont need money since you're staying with us."I said.She nodded again.

"You can leave now."I said.She bowed as she stood up and slowly walked out of the room.

"Oh leo...I hope you and your little team are prepared for what's coming next"I said as I smiled.
