Chap 33 Audition (1)

I woke up feeling refreshed and happy. Last night was definitely a blessing since Clive did not think that we are not too much trouble for him. He and Elijah after accepting Gabriele's invite to dinner date went off to sleep with Decker while I slept in the room I was previously using to change. I checked the time to see it was 6:30 am. Enough time for me to get ready for my audition at Luce Stellare Celeste Entertainment as a rookie model.

I got out of bed and went to freshen up. I then raided the closet for something simple yet stylish. I was surprised at the amount of clothes in the closet Elijah kept. I finally picked out a simple loose white shirt and black jeans. After putting them on, I brushed my hair out and put it in a high pony tail, added a bit of powder and lip balm giving off a natural looking vibe. I grabbed a black bomber jacket and put it on. I went to the shoe rack and pulled out a pair of white sneakers to wear. With that my look was complete. I twirled around in the mirror and felt satisfied at the outcome. I left the room and headed for breakfast. As I neared the kitchen, I heard laughs and giggles. I peeked in to see Decker sitting on top of the island with Elijah at the helm, flipping pancakes.

The scene was so domestic I couldn't help but coo internally at the sight. They looked so cute together, I couldn't help but imagine what our house would look like with Gabriele and Clive becoming a part of us. I smiled and then entered the kitchen. Elijah turned around and smiled at me. " Morning Lucien, sit down. I will give breakfast in a minute. Decker, keep your uncle company." He turned back his attention to the stove while Decker beamed at me.

I beamed back and we hugged each other. Clive walked in and I could immediately tell that he was not a morning person. He looked around, strode towards the stove and then proceeded to act like an octopus clinging to Elijah. Elijah huffed and patted Clive while flipping the pancakes. I sneakily took pictures without them noticing and sent them to Gabriele. It was too cute to pass up. Plus, I wanted to get along with my future brother-in-law.

Elijah handed the pancakes over to me and Decker. Clive squeezed my shoulder in greeting and sat down at which point a cup of coffee and pancakes were also handed over to him. Clive smiled at Elijah which he responded back with a soft grin. With that we tucked into our breakfast. The nerves started to attack me. I know that Clive and I practiced my walk multiple times and he even gave me tips and pointers on how to make smooth transitions. Before my thoughts could spiral, Clive and Elijah wrapped their arms around me. I stiffened and then relaxed into the warmth. " Lucien, you will do well. You have practised your walk. Be confident and you will definitely find it hard in the beginning but the work will pay off. We have faith in you. Good luck." Those words settled the nerves and made feel blessed that I have such a wonderful family taking care of me. " Gabriele also wishes you luck. He also said that you shouldn't worry." Elijah said.

I felt the confidence flow back and my nerves finally settled. I nodded and finished my breakfast. We cleaned up and I grabbed my bag and headed out. Clive and Elijah were at the door with Decker waiting to say goodbye. Decker squeezed me tightly while the men smiled. I hugged Decker back. I looked at Elijah and Clive with determination in my eyes. " I will be back." I said. Elijah and Clive nodded. With that I left and made my way to the car and got in. Denver was in the driver's seat. "Good morning, Lucien. All set for the day ?" he asked. l smiled back and nodded. Denver smirked and started the car. The ride was quick as we reached the venue on time. I got out of the car. " Good luck, Young Master. I am sure you will do great." Denver wished. I waved in response and walked in.

The building was quite tall. The reception was huge but not too busy. I walked up to the counter. The receptionist smiled in greeting and said " If you are here for the modelling auditions, please take the lift to your right and press the 7th floor button. There will be a registration desk sitting right outside. Register and then wait for your turn to be called. All the best and have a nice day." I thanked her and made my way to the elevator. As I waiting for the elevator, I looked around my surroundings to see a familiar face walking to me. He was tall with short black hair, fair skin and exquisite facial features. In particular, his eyes were a stunning grey. I realised who it was. It was Rui Li Zwei. The No.3 Supermodel and one of Stellare Celeste Entertainment's giants. My huge fan crush and role model.

He stopped right next to me in front of the same elevator I was taking. My fan tendencies were starting to act up and I had to act as cool as a cucumber. I stood straight and and just stared resolutely at the lift doors. I was determined to not get distracted. The lift came to a stop. I let Rin Li Zwei get on and then followed. He pressed the 7th floor which was the same floor I was heading on. The lift moved. We stood there in silence. Rin Li Zwei was on the phone while I stared at the floor numbers the lift was passing by until it stopped on the 7th floor. He got off along with me. He suddenly turned around at me and looked. I froze unable to move and at the same time a little worried. He smiled " All the best little one. I have a feeling that you are going to do well." with that he walked away.

I stood in shock while my mind was cheering at the fact that my idol wished me. Feeling the happiness, I walked to the registration desk and filled in my details. The people took the form and handed me a token which said Group 5. I thanked them and looked for my group seat. It was at the end of the room. I went and sat. I was the only one there. I took a deep breath and decided to observe my surroundings. I noticed two boys with pale blond hair and green eyes walk up and sit next to me. Identical twins. This should be interesting. They nodded at me in greeting to which I returned back. A few more joined and we all sat apprising the other silently.

The registration desk closed and from behind, the door opened. Out stepped, three people which led to a burst of murmurs and gasps. My eyes flew wide open in shock. The judges are well known and famous people. They were none other than Savanah Theos, Rui Li Zwei and Aros Forza. They are all in the top of the Supermodel rankings.

Looks like the competition just got heated.
