2 Special Space

"AGGGHHHH!!" A scream resounded throughout the whole field. In slow motion, Lilian Mo could see the wicked eyes of Song Li who had pushed her to the group of mutant animals behind them. The angry snarls and roars were so scary that it was enough to make a person quiver to death.

"Lilian Mo, don't fault me for pushing you away. After losing an arm, what good are you other than a burden? But I still have to thank Sister Mo for sacrificing that arm to save my life. In the end, your life was used to make me live longer." Song Li smiled with mirth as if she found her dying so entertaining.

"Please die, Sister Mo!" Song Li said, her hands pushing her harder.

The world 'please' and 'die' did not sound good in a single sentence.

Lilian Mo's lashes trembled as she lost her footing and slipped. She tumbled backward from the platform and felt her body slowly falling and falling.

Time seemed so slow as she watched her so-called 'friend' smile at her after pushing her to death. Her eyes looked up and saw the wide blue sky.

Tears welled up in her eyes as she closed them one last time before succumbing to death. She waited for the pain of flesh being torn apart and her limbs being slashed to bits.

She waited and waited and waited...

Lilian Mo waited.

However, death didn't come.

No. It did.

Just that she was given another chance to make up for everything that she lost.

10:01 am, May 5th, Apartment Complex, City A

Lilian Mo opened her eyes once again and saw a familiar ceiling and wall. The pale blue wallpaper with flower designs was a familiar sight that could only be found in her room at the apartment building where she was staying at. She sat up and grabbed her phone.

She looked at the date and saw that it was the 5th of May of the year 2XXX, about ten in the morning. She nearly dropped her phone when she saw this. Her knees grew weak and she fell to the floor, her hands grabbing onto the sheets of her bed as tears fell from her eye one by one.

Her vision was too blurry from crying but she could not bring herself to care. Her past life felt like a nightmare but after experiencing the apocalypse firsthand, Lilian Mo was no longer surprised when she found herself reborn.

It meant that the gods have not forsaken her!

"I'm alive again," she murmured to herself. Lilian Mo cried for a while before calming down. The aftershock of the events rattled her but after facing death and a horde of monstrous mutants with intelligence like that of humans, she was able to adapt to her situation with ease.

She went to the bathroom and splashed water on her face. Lilian Mo looked at the mirror and saw her own reflection.

A girl no older than sixteen stared back at her. With eyes like pearl and long thick lashes, her fair skin was white and smooth. She has a small button nose and a delicate heart-shaped face. Her hair was an inky black color that flowed down her waist.

In the apocalypse, Lilian Mo kept her hair long because her fiancé wanted it that way. After escaping him, she chopped her hair off and maintained a short hairstyle so that it wouldn't get in her way.

Lilian Mo grabbed a pair of scissors from the cabinet and cut the long strands of her hair without hesitation. She tossed the bundle of hair on the trash bin and trimmed her hair until it only reached past her chin. She was good with her hands and wasn't an amateur with what she was doing.

Long hair was a luxury in the apocalypse. It was only her fiancé who was an eccentric idiot that ordered her to keep her hair long so he could admire it.

Lilian Mo's eyes flashed with hate.

In a split second, she was transported in some kind of dimension. She was greatly shocked when she saw this. In her space, she could see wide farmland that seemed suitable for planting.

Her eyes instantly widened as she noticed this. In the apocalypse, because the soil and water were contaminated, it was hard to grow plants and vegetables, not to mention that exposure to mutants would cause them to turn into mutants as well.

Most people relied on wood and water ability users for food and water because they have higher chances of growing crops due to their helpful abilities. They became in demand among factions and were greatly valued among groups.

In her past life, Lilian Mo managed to awaken a rare ability after escaping her fiancé. She went off to fight mutants and during a pinch when she was surrounded by them, she unlocked her fire and earth ability that allowed her to use magma.

With her newfound power, she was able to escape a perilous situation on her own and survive for days. Eventually, she managed to find her so-called 'friends' that treated her like a family. Fat hope that would be.

They only accepted her due to her abilities and powers. In the end, they were the first to betray her after she became crippled for saving Song Li. That good 'friend' of hers, Song Li actually pushed her into a group of mutant animals after reaping the benefits from Lilian Mo.

Lilian Mo felt angry just by thinking about this.

She looked at the farmland in her space and pursed her lips. Well, she wouldn't have to worry about relying on other people anymore because this place was now hers.

She could cultivate plants and vegetables here and would never have to worry about food.

Lilian Mo explored some more and found clear spring water. Her eyes sparkled upon seeing this as she could tell that there was something special about this spring water.

She cupped the water in her hands and started to drink it without restrain. Immediately, she could feel herself being revitalized after drinking the water.

Suddenly, pain erupted in her body and she doubled over, gasping at the unbelievable amount of pain she was experiencing. Lilian Mo gritted her teeth and scooped more water, drinking it hungrily and further intensifying the pain.

Her head pounded and the knowledge and history surrounding this special space entered her mind.
