ii. – After a successful day of filming in front of bright lights and skilled photographers, she was called to meet her manager in the office. Irene skipped happily down the corridors, as she continued humming to herself.

"It seems like your schedule is finished for today, but the others aren't home yet. You wouldn't mind staying here for awhile won't you?" he said, while glancing over the papers he was holding.

She greeted with a nod as she took a step inside the room, her smile still glued on her face. "Actually, I wanted to ask if I could take the day off for myself, with your permission, of course."

The manager took a moment away from what he was doing and scanned his eyes through another set of papers on his table. "Well, you do have another schedule tomorrow. I suppose I don't see anything bad if that is what you insist. You have my permission, but at least, please be back before midnight tonight."

Her smile grew. "Thank you so much. Have a nice day ahead!"

"Do you plan on going home to your parents?" he inquired just before she could leave the room.

"I actually promised myself this quite some time ago, but I will be heading home to Daegu," she answered without hesitation.

"Have a safe trip, Irene."

She bowed her head before leaving as she felt her manager's stare slowly shifting from her back towards the printed sheets.

Today was definitely going to be a good day.
