2 Chapter 2:Arthur

Arthur wakes up to see himself on a patient bed, restrained. He yanks at the restraints, but they wouldn't budge. A doctor walks in with a clipboard and asks "Have you calmed down yet?"

Arthur nods his head.

The doctor walks over to the side of the bed and unrestrained him. As the doctor was about to walk out of the room, Arthur calls, "Hey... doc, how long have I been out?"

The doctor looks down at the clipboard and then looked up at Arthur "About 7 hours."

"Oh" The doctor then turns back around and walks out of the room.

Arthur lays back down on the bed, staring at the ceiling light. He was recalling the events that happened a few hours ago. Tears started filling his eyes as he remembers finding his wife, in a pool of blood, with deep cuts on her arms. Her face, which was devoid of any color and the slight frown on her face, which implies that she died with regrets and unhappiness.

As he was released from the hospital, he went back home. On the counter, he saw a letter addressed to him. This letter had been sitting there since he came back home, which he missed since he was urgent to find his wife. As he opened the letter and read it, tears began to resurface in his eyes, which slowly rolled down his face.

"Dear Arthur,

I love you. I love you so much. Because i love you so much, i couldn't stand living anymore. There is something I forgot to tell you, but on the night that we were suppose to have a date, I got raped. I didn't want to tell you because I worry that you will leave me and my disgusting body. I figured that I should die, in order not to taint you. I am so dirty and i will never stop being dirty. Cutting was a way for me to get rid of some of the dirtiness that lies within my body. But I realized that the only way to get rid of all the dirtiness that may taint you, is to die. I beg of you Arthur, don't blame yourself, it's my own fault for getting myself dirty. I hope we can meet once again, when my body is rid of its dirtiness, and live a fulfilling life together. I love you. Goodbye.

Forever yours,

Azazel"

His life, which was full of color, was now black and white. The next day, he cremated her body and put it into an urn. He traveled to their favorite spot and threw her ashes there. He then walked back to their empty, colorless house and locked the doors, forever closing his heart.
