3 Second Color

Athena woke up next to the sleeping figure of the random girl she brought in last night. Looking closer at her, she had white hair and a decent figure. She was tired and it was dark so she couldn't see her really well. Getting up, she decided to make breakfast for her and the other girl who was with her.

After changing and getting ready, she went to the kitchen the kitchen to make omelet rice. Finishing up everything, she decided to add the ketchup.

"That's honey, not ketchup." said Pallas.

"Oh, you're awake." replied Athena.

This was one of the downsides of not being able to see color, everything was white and sometimes she couldn't tell between things. Quickly going back to the drawer, she took out the ketchup but double checked to see if it was ketchup.

"Are you okay?" asked Pallas.

Athena couldn't possibly tell her she couldn't see colors and all she could see what white.

"Yeah, I just get tired from the mornings." said Athena.

It was true though, she was slightly more tired than she was the other day.

'Must be the illness' she thought.

"I see! Thanks for the food!" said Pallas in a cheery tone.

Athena didn't think she was the cheerful type of person, they were polar opposites.

"You're welcoming." replied Athena.

They ate in a comfortable silence, they were both hungry since they didn't eat last night.

"You food is really good Athena!" said Pallas.

"Thank you, I learned it online." Athena replied.

"Do you live here by yourself?" asked Pallas.

"Yep, it's just me here." Athena said.

"What about your parents?" asked Pallas.

"I don't know who they are or where they are. I'm an orphan." said Athena.

"I'm sorry." muttered Pallas.

"It's okay, I don't really mind it at all." said Athena.

There wasn't really a need to hide it from Pallas, she already moved on and didn't mind it anyways.

"Your purple eyes are really pretty." said Pallas with a giggle.

My eyes were pretty? And they were purple? I never realized that it was purple, I thought it was something like black.

"Hello?~ You're spacing out." said Pallas.

"Sorry, it's just that no one has ever said that to me before." Athena replied.

"Yay~I'm the first one!" said Pallas.

They continued to eat and cleaned the plates after they finished.

"What do you do at home?" asked Pallas.

"What do I do at home...I write novels online and workout I guess." said Athena.

"I see you don't do much at home." said Pallas.

"Yeah, there's not really much for me to do." said Athena.

"Sorry if that sounded a bit offensive, I didn't mean anything bad." said Pallas.

"It's fine, I don't actually really do much at home anyways." said Athena.

"I see, well do you have anything to do today?" asked Pallas.

(Athena POV)

"I'm not sure, let me see." I said.

I did feel like I had forgotten something, opening my laptop, I went to the calendar to see if I had anything to do. And there it was, it was a note saying to pick up my car today.

"It seems I do have something to do, I needed to pick up my car today." I said.

"You have a car?!"

"Yeah, it took a few months for it to get ready because of the modifications I ordered."

"How much does it cost?"

"About a hundred and ten thousand, with the modifications, it was over two hundred thousand in total."

"I'm surprised you can say that so casually, does this mean you're rich?"

"No, I just do stocks online."

"I see, you must be pretty smart. Why type of car is it?"

"It's a-" before I could say anything, I was cut off.

"Wait! Don't tell me, I want it to be a surprise." said Pallas.

What's up with this girl? Why did it need to be a surprise?

"Why?" I asked.

"Because it would spoil the fun if you just told me right here, by the way you're taking me with you." said Pallas.

Eh?

"Why? Won't your parents be worried?" I asked.

"Hehe~ Nope! They moved out of the country yesterday so it's fine, they'll probably be back in a year or two." said Pallas.

"I see, how old are you?" I asked.

"17, turning 18 in a year! What about you?" asked Pallas.

"I'm 16. That makes you my senpai," I said.

"You're 16? Shouldn't it be illegal for you to drive?" asked Pallas.

"Yeah but due to some circumstances, I was able to get my license approved by the government." I replied

"I see, then you must be pretty powerful." said Pallas.

"Nope, it took 2 months just to get it seen and a month to get it approved." I replied.

"Nevermind...now let's go pick up your car! I want to see it~" said Pallas.

"Okay, okay." I said.
