12 Eleventh Color

It was the day of my discharge, I got a ride to my apartment.

Though my mother made me take extra medicine in.

When I entered my apartment, there was a the familiar scent of home.

(A/N: Is the S or C silent in scent?)

As I opened the curtains, the bright sunlight shone brightly lighting the once dead room.

I smiled at the nostalgic feeling.

Fixing up my apartment and changing into comfortable clothes.

Right as I was about to make lunch, my phone rang.

The name said Pallas with a red heart next to it.

"Hello"

"Athenaa!! Why didn't you answer me?"

I could hair her pouting over the phone.

"Sorry, I was busy. I just found out who my mother was and we talked for a bit."

"Really? Congratulations!"

"Thank you, what're you doing right now?"

"Nothing, it's been boring since you haven't answered in a while."

"I see, how about I come over right now?"

"Really??"

"Yep, I feel bad since I didn't answer you."

"Hehe~ Then I'll be waiting! Ciao~"

The call ended and I smiled.

Changing again, I took the pills that would help me. Getting the keys, I made my way towards me car.

"It's been a while my sweet baby." I said admiring my car.

Someone may think this is weird but as a car lover, this is normal.

As I started the car, it made a vroom noise, I smiled at the sound of the engine, it was pleasant to my ears. Although I felt a bit fatigued, I pushed through it since I my determination to see Pallas was far stronger.

Making my way towards Pallas's house, I could never get used to the view of her mansion. It was too big and the exterior screamed rich.

She spotted me as I stopped in front of her driveway, even in casual clothing she looked good, she ran over to me and got into the passenger seat.

"Hey Pall-"

"I'm still mad."

"I thought so."

I mentally sighed, well it was still my fault.

I just couldn't tell her yet, but soon.

"Where will we be going?" I asked.

"Hmm, surprise me." said Pallas.

"Alright, but don't complain." I said.

We were going to a place I always wanted to enjoy, it was called Vurse Town, a town filled with pleasantries.

It was a 2 hour drive but it was worth it.

Entering the highways, I speed through it as the bright sun hit the interiors of my car.

Pallas's eyes shone brightly, her white hair flowing back as the wind blew against her, I could stare at her for a long time but I was driving at the moment.

Instead, I held out my left hand, she looked at me with a questioning look.

"Hold it." I said.

"Why?"

"Because your hand feels nice."

She looked away with a soft blush on her cheeks but still held my hand. Suddenly, I wished this car ride would last forever.

Buildings and cities passed by.

I admired the colors that I haven't seen since I was born and I was able to see all this because of Pallas.

From colorless to colorful.

"Your smiling too much." said Pallas.

"Hmm? I didn't even realize." I replied.

"What're you thinking about?" asked Pallas.

"I'll tell you when the time comes." I said.

"That doesn't help at all and where are we going?" asked Pallas.

"You wanted a surprise so you're getting one." I said.

Pallas could only helplessly sigh at her own words.

Now I understood why teasing someone would be quite funny.

Pallas had fallen asleep on the car ride but her hand was still intertwined with mines.

As we entered Vurse Bridge, it was a bridge filled with flowers on the side giving it a nice atmosphere to it. People would sometimes even come to this bridge to take a picture with the flowers. It was over the Vurse Ocean, it was clear and filled with marine life, some divers often go to the Vurse Dock to ride the boats.

The place we were going to was made for the person called Vurse, history said that he wrote a lot of novels and even still had some unreleased novels. The population in readers and authors sprung up and they decided to thank Vurse for the novels he wrote.

I could only admire him, maybe I should read one of his novels too.

People did say it was about girls being in love with girls which caught a lot of attention from females and even boys.

...

After 2 hours, the sign on the left said, "Welcome to Vurse Town"

Entering a tunnel, there were sakura trees filling the sides giving it an aesthetic like feeling to it. Looking over at Pallas who was now awake, she was looking at the beautiful trees in awe.

I was too, I was planning on coming here one day.

Vurse, I wonder what his real name was.

"Did you know the person Vurse died at the age of 35?" asked Pallas.

"No I didn't, how did he die?" I asked.

"I just looked it up, it is said due to high levels of stress and depression, he swallowed a bunch of pills to reduce the feeling but overdosed. He was found dead an hour or two later because of his friend who lived with him."

"It was said that he had always looked happy but deep inside, he was sad, and no one actually knew." said Pallas.

I didn't know what to say to that, it was quite a bad way to die.

I wonder what was he going through.

Exiting out of the tunnel, a road along with gardens on the side, and more sakura tree enveloped our vision. Modern buildings were on the side, there were mini shops, and there was a pleasant atmosphere in this town.

It felt peaceful.

"You should've told me we were coming here, I would've dressed more nicely." said Pallas.

"It's fine, it's not like this town cares about what you wear." I replied.

The answer I received was a hmpf.

And we were now in Vurse Town.

We made our way towards to the inn I booked...
