1 Chapter 1:The diary

(At a room some where in a masion)

When I was 4 I realize how cruel the world is... I'm Cordelia Indulf I'm currently 14 as of right now,I'm reading my old diary

I my self was a normal kid... we we're part of big noble house but my mother was just a baroness we had huge pieces of lands but we don't know how to profit from those lands and my father is also a baron [Not to be confused they both have a baron title].

Then my mother had a brilliant Idea of getting slaves then make them work without pay and just feed them just barely and sale our crops and it worked and she also open a restaurant so the vegetables and fruits that wasn't bought would be cooked and serve on a higher price and we make more profit.[I pity them but we also need to survive].

My father's business was smithing he makes weapons and tools too and his a little bit recognize.So our family has wealth even tho we are a baron family and my sister likes to sell her paintings and she's good at painting and life was good.

My father went on a trip for a year on Terre Rouge.He went home one day it seems fined after three months.... I over heard mother crying and saying "So you cheated on me while your overseas how could you do this... what about the children?" I ran after I heard that and later that afternoon they both acted like nothing happen so I pretend I heard nothing.

A year went by and my mother received a letter with a seal on it and was asked to teach in the Empire Academy,She was an alumni.Of course she accepted I asked my mother to take me with her on the capital cause I wanted to go and have a look at the Empire Academy.It was sooo big and pretty and sparkly compared to our home.I saw some students and they are wearing school uniforms.[The reason why mother didn't teach here before was because she became pregnant with my older sister after graduating so she can't teach at that time].

I mostly stayed with mother in the capital.My mother has this friend his name was Professor Sourire Tueur [he was nice but he usually tells me horror stories and because of that I was now afraid to be alone I mean I am scared I.... just don't want to be attacked by being alone so I always was with my maid like always!!!].

I had fun in the capital studying different people and interacting with lots of people it was so fun and getting to play with other children like me.I met this kid his a baron at the age of 4 because his parents died.we always talk about the future and his name was Eadwald Himank but I didn't become friends with him because his lonely but because he was nice and he doesn't discriminate people regardless of status abilities nor appearances.

He has black hair like me and his eyes we're a mix of gold and blue.his quite handsome but I don't like him at that way because you know we're only just friends.I found a new place to hang out with Eddy [I call him that because he reminds me of the character in a book who's nice].Eddy told me that he wants to learn how to be a magic swordsman I mean he can because his magic was powerful!!! [I saw it he can even create his own spells his very gifted].

He has three elements that he can use Ice,Water,Thunder,Time elements.I can use Dark,Light,Wind elements I still can't control my magic but I will get better!!,I want to be a legendary magician! [Because we are a branch family of Carter family,It's common to not have powers and they learned I have powers when I was baptized].

Eddy came to visit me today and he brought a book with him and he said it's a spell book! Yayy!!! [We're not allowed to used or practice magic because we are young cause it might get uncontrollable but we can if we had a tutor but we can't afford a tutor because my sister is studying overseas so we are tight on budget.

I learned that there's a way for chant less magic! I asked Eddy where he got this told me he got this on his house it was hidden inside a book and he told me not to tell anyone and I pinky promise that I would never and I Cordelia Indulf swear upon the heaven's to not tell anyone about this in my life time [I cut my self and blood came out afterwards] and Eddy also accepted the vow by cutting him self and the vow is complete but I got mad cause he cut him self and he also got mad at me for also cutting my self so we both agree not hurt our selves because we both care for each other.

We practiced for 3 months and we both can do chant less magic and I learned a some new spells invoquer des créatures des ténèbres (Summon dark Creatures) I can summon any creature of dark,Depending on how much mana I poured into the summon I could even summon a mythical being! and I also learned vie sainte (Holy Life) I can heal anyone regardless of how severe it is!! and épée à vent (Wind Sword) I can create a sword with wind.

Eddy learned Throne of Ice,Searpant of the deep ocean,Thunder of Zeus,Cronus Soul and Eddy asked me if I will also attend The Imperial Magic Academy and of course I would and he said he would also go their.After being in the capital for 3 years I asked my mother if I could visit father at home and she said yes.I informed Eddy about my trip and he asked if he could also go with me and I said yes.

I bought a present for father and Mr.Gold because he was nice and he cooks good food for us.Eddy insisted on buying my father a gift I said no but he went and bought one.The trip was 4 days and I'm actually excited to stop over Grandell flores and bring home some unique flowers and Eddy would help me pick some too.
