A Tragic Accident

Planet Earth, the birthplace of humanity, has come to the brink of collapse after countless years of war. When society had finally come together again, and the number of superhumans was starting to increase, an unknown threat from space threatened to end the conquered peace once and for all. An alien race that called itself the Vassuk.

The Vassuk could even be confused by humans if it weren't for their pointed ears, a reptilian skin with a slight purple tinge and two horns present in the region of their foreheads. They have the costume to send troops to travel around the galaxy, searching for resources and enslaving the lower races found during their journey. That was the beginning of another nightmare for humanity.

As much as the appearance of these beings resembled that of humans, the difference in the level of technological development was noticed at first glance when the satellites of the human government saw spaceships invading its solar system. as if that were not enough, the Vassuk had an enormous physical and regenerative capability. The war had returned. This time the situation was even more difficult. The difference in strength and technology was overwhelming.

In the midst of this frightening situation, certain superhumans began to manifest abilities that defied physics and reality. This caused humanity to regain hope and gradually achieve small victories against the enemy. After a decade of countless battles drawn, bloodshed, and a long stalemate, the remaining Vassuk troops finally withdrew from the solar system. However, neither party could consider itself victorious. The losses were enormous.

On the other hand, through the countless interrogations carried out on Vassuk personnel and research on alien technology remains, human technology has achieved a breakthrough never imagined. The most significant benefits were undoubtedly space travel technology, military artifacts, and even teleportation. Through these new discoveries, humanity has entered a new era.

Years after the war, the situation of humanity is incredibly optimistic. Through space travel technology, society has moved to a new system similar to its old one. A new planet that came to be called "Eden," the population is now made up of one hundred percent superhumans, thanks to the genes hereditary character. We can say that now the future so said and longed for in the past is now part of the present.

"As you all know, this was the last day at our school, tomorrow everyone will receive a visit from a government military representative, who will be responsible for guiding you to your future military schools," said a serious-looking man in a completely white suit with a gold star brooch located close to the chest.

He stops his speech for a second and takes a good look at the young superhumans gathered in front of the stage.

"I hope that all of you generate great achievements during your military formation and that in the future you may be contributing to the development of humanity..." before finishing his speech, he lets out a barely noticeable smile " You all may now go."

A round of applause and the sound of some people crying and screaming begins to spread throughout the hall.

"Director, that was a great speech," said a woman, clapping her hands, as she approached the man who had just left through the back door of the hall. She is petite with straight white hair shiny as snow and has blue eyes conveying a deep coolness.

"I must have made them remember the good times and learnings taught at this institution," said the director while shaking his head in agreement with himself.

While the teachers leave the hall following the principal's example, students continue to clap and get emotional.

"Finally !! I couldn't take these damn science classes anymore," thinks a muscular student with a massive smile on his face as he claps his hands.

"No more basic combat training classes with that crazy martial arts teacher, I'm so happy!!" thought a student with glasses, while her head is down and tears and snot are running down her face.

While everything is happening in the center of the hall, some students have already started to leave. Among them is a superhuman named Ayden Kale.

A sixteen-year-old with deep dark eyes like the emptiness of space, with a modern black and straight haircut, and to complete his look, a sharp chin. A young man with an above-average appearance.

Unfortunately, in today's society, you no longer stand out due to your appearance but based on strength and skill, so no matter how much he is a person who draws a little attention on the visual side, his abilities do not stand out much amid the miraculous spells that completely defy reality.

"I swear that I will avenge them ... even though I have a skill considered weak ... Just wait until I graduate from military school!" said Ayden with a fierce look as he clenches his fists and heads toward the school exit.

Body enhancement, a skill category capable of considerably improving its user's abilities, something common among superhumans, was inherited from his father. Her mother possessed a rare power that allowed her to steal and use abilities from her enemies and bodies that she had touched.

Unfortunately, during Ayden's parturition, a Vassuk ship, unidentified by human defenses, ended up colliding in the hospital that the birth was taking place, his father with a weak ability, his mother already fragile after the delivery, and doctors present in the room of surgery still thought they could handle what was about to leave the spaceship. After all, they are all superhuman with some kind of skill.

But as soon as the spacecraft's hatch opened, a wounded Vassuk with full-grown dark purple horns came out. The hope of everyone around went down the drain, a duke! As much as he is injured due to the impact, a Vassuk nobility member is an extremely dangerous individual. His impact wounds are already regenerating in real-time. At the very least, it would take a well-trained user of unique skill to deal with this type of enemy. The only one at this level in the operating room is Ayden's mother, who is not in proper combat condition. Still, everyone has no choice. They would have to fight.

But suddenly, the spaceship's began to emit an alarming light and sound. Ayden's parents, reacting quickly, knew exactly what was about to happen. Without thinking twice, they put their son between them and used their skills and bodies to the maximum to protect the newborn child from the imminent explosion.

An extremely high-pitched sound occurred and...

Five minutes after the explosion, the rescue team finally arrived at the Vassuk crash site and explosion site. The place was utterly destroyed with flames and debris in all directions from where the capital's hospital was located. Charred bodies were scattered everywhere, no sign of life. However, even before the vital signs radar was used, one of the rescue team members began to hear a cry. As he approached the sound source, between two completely charred bodies, there was a newborn child with only minor burns, crying while breathing heavily.

Acting quickly, the member took the child and brought him carefully and efficiently to the medical team, composed of superhumans with incredible healing skills. Moments after being treated, the child no longer had a burn mark on his body and was sleeping peacefully in the arms of a doctor, breathing calmly. A miracle amidst an unprecedented disaster, at least one life was saved.

Fortunately, his parents contributed significantly to the war and disputes against the Vassuk and have accumulated a good amount of money. Because of this, he was raised by a government member, as none of his relatives wanted to bear another child's burden. Due to all these events, Ayden ended up maturing very quickly. As soon as he entered school, he was given an apartment key and a salary to support himself until he enters the military college.

"Mother, father, thank you for protecting me ... I hope you are watching me, because from now on my journey is just beginning ..." murmured Ayden, already on the balcony of his apartment, looking at the beautiful starry sky of Eden and the spaceships flying around.
