V1CH3 - President Mayumi

Turbulence | A blade technique granting its practitioner the ability to strike six times in a single stroke.

Fleeting Wind | A movement technique that enables the practitioner to move six meters in one step, also becoming as light as feather.

Earthquake | An auxiliary technique that adds six extreme vibrations to the practitioner's attacks and/or other techniques. ]

He stopped as he kept the wooden sword he has on hand afloat before looking at the leaves scattered all around him, which he made use of to practice both Turbulence and Fleeting Wind.

Kicking the tree using an extremely controlled Earthquake so that some leaves will fall, then he would use Turbulence to cut each and every leaf five times before using Fleeting Wind and move faster than the eyes could see while staying true to its name, a fleeting wind which meant that he should not affect or alarm the others like a feather flying with the wind.

He broke through to the next two levels within a week's time of focus.

"It seems you've progressed to another stage of your techniques." he heard a voice behind him as he saw Kokonoe with no presence since he temporarily shut down his own domain in order to improve his Information Domain, a skill he created on his own.

[ Information Domain LVL47 | Directly take in data from the Information Dimension to the Magic Calculation Area, creating a domain similar to Eternal Night Domain, in addition of creating magic sequence using the current level knowledge of magic design. Current distance: four meter radius. ]

His range of awareness as of the moment is half of what he covers in if his Eternal Night Domain is to be activated.

"Indeed, advancing to another stage requires arduous practice and greater comprehension so I have to place my whole focus on training rather than going to school. Isn't that the goal of educational institutions? To promote growth to its students?" Snow walked towards the low table he set under the tree he trained in and poured tea for him and Kokonoe.

"Your proficiency with your movement has let you traverse three meters in one step, quite a breakthrough you have there." he smiled as he appreciated the scent of tea before taking a sip while Kokonoe thanked him.

In Kyuuchouji Temple, they prioritize more on techniques rather than magic casting since the more they depend on magic, the worse they will become in the future as their Magic Calculation Area deteriorate with age. But that doesn't mean they don't place importance on magic casting.

Besides, martial techniques would save them Mana that can be used for casting spells that would compensate what they are lacking. For example if what they lack is speed, they cast an acceleration spell and if what they lack is defense, then they can cast a defensive spell.

"It's about time I properly attend First High School. Your disciple... Tatsuya, he should be in Class-1E and Miyuki's in Class-1A right?"

"I don't know what First High School was thinking of letting the discrimination grow but this would only bite them back if it continues."

"With what you've told me, that guy has a seal in the form of Miyuki... and he's capable of turning the world non-existent."

"Dangerous yes, but that's entirely because they've messed with his head since he was still a child. They didn't even try to search for an effective method in the long run which should've made him loyal at the same time more controlled than a walking emotionless guardian of the Yotsuba that can deal with them with just a snap of his fingers."

He chuckled at the Yotsuba's stupidity but at the same time understand that due to their fear of letting Tatsuya loose, in their panic, acted on their impulse and created the seal.

On what cause? The mother's death.

When Kokonoe saw Snow's eyes, he knew that one of the favors he has will be useful when it is related to stopping Tatsuya if he ever goes on a rampage.

Snow changed into his uniform and made his way to First High School on foot. He doesn't have any sense of urgency at the moment as there is still around an hour and he estimate that he can arrive to school within half an hour.

His mind wandered around as he thought of what magic spells to research and in his deep focus, he didn't feel the passage of time until he avoided a tap on his shoulder as he turned around to see a young lady, smiling brightly at him with eyes similar to his.

"You're a new face, I'm confident that I have memorized all students of First High School. So, mind if you tell me your name?" with her index finger pointing at her chin, the young lady asked him as he appraised the young lady in front of him.

She has long wavy black hair that reaches up to her waist, enchanting red eyes, and white skin if he is to go by the skin tone of her face and her arms. He has to say that she has a nice figure as well, but that's just him being appreciative of a woman's body.

"What might the President want with me? I'm sure you've read a document stating that a student going by the name Snow Nightshade, requested for a leave of absence after catching a cold before the first day of school started yes? Or did the President pass ignore the document and passed it off to other members of the Student Council?" Snow didn't know why but he didn't stop his mouth from moving as he saw the young lady's shocked face before her face turned somewhat flushed.

He had collected intel about the school and powers within the academy, one of them is the young lady in front of him named Saegusa Mayumi, heiress of the Saegusa Family, one of the Ten Master Clans.

'Wait, flushed? That's weird.' thought Snow.

"I-I didn't pass it off to other members of the Student Council. D-definitely not!" reasoned the young lady but her eyes kept darting from place to place that Snow had trouble keeping his chuckle from being heard.

"President, what are you doing here?" asked a female student as the president jumped from fright as she whipped her head to see said female student together with a young man, giving Snow a wary stare.

"N-nothing, I was j-just greeting the new student joining our First High School, y-yeah." he thought Mayumi was quite cute when she was incapable of following through the events but he shook his head and decided to save her from embarrassment.

"President, mind introducing me to these two? I can see we'll get along well just fine." he gave Mayumi a signal to just follow along as she nods and proceeds to clear her throat before speaking.

"This young lady is Shiba Miyuki, the first years' student representative and beside her is Shiba Tatsuya, her brother and also one of the members of the Disciplinary Committee." her voice flowed smoothly and the previous chaotic Mayumi transitioned to her president Mayumi easily as she spoke.

Her eyes signalled Snow to introduce himself as he chuckled when this young lady truly did not know his name, he doubts the siblings would let this small mistake past them.

"I'm Snow Nightshade, given name first before my surname. I don't have any position nor do I want to for now but if the president wants something from me then I'll do it within some certain limits." he extends a handshake to Tatsuya who nods before he did the same thing to Miyuki who smiled after seeing how Snow interacted with her brother.

'Kokonoe was right, this young lady is a bro-con...' he nods before looking at Mayumi who stared at him wide-eyed before pulling herself out and dragging him with her.

"I'll be taking him with me, we'll see you later at lunch. Miyuki, tell the professor this student is currently with me." with that she took him away from the two as Snow was confused about what is happening.

When they arrived at an office, he was offered tea by Mayumi as he accepted it and felt that the tea they serve here is much better than the one in Kyuuchouji Temple or it is just because the one who served tea is a woman and not an apprentice shinobi in training.

He didn't say anything but he was handed a folder which he simply flipped through before frowning as he closed the folder and shook his head as if rejecting the proposal.

"You don't want to?" Mayumi was surprised, at the same time relieved as the document was about the cooperation between the Saegusa and him in exchange of power, wealth, and woman in the form of marriage with Mayumi.

He shook his head and replied, "No." just a simple word but that rejection meant a lot to him.

He was hunted which meant he has lesser degree of freedom than those others, and while he has become nearly unstoppable in this reality, that does not mean he would take the freedom of others.

Rather, he wanted to give more freedom to others but not the irresponsible kind but the more controlled freedom.

That's why he also disdains the Yotsuba for taking away the freedom of Tatsuya to express his own emotions.

Mayumi didn't know this but she was surprised at the amount of weight one word has from Snow.

"You truly don't want to? You know I won't mind." Mayumi would be lying if she wasn't interested at Snow since he's younger than her yet at the same time gives her security above all else which makes a difference between his young appearance to the natural aura he exudes.

"Nothing changes whether you will or will not mind, I don't want a relationship with strings attached. If you want to pursue me then go right ahead, but if you do so influenced by the family order you've been given then I won't hesitate to shut you down."
