5 Kind of popular man

"I'm such a dumbass..."

"Indeed you are."

As he moved his gaze around in surprise, he noticed Kael suddenly standing there as if he had spawned from thin air, and he seemed to be carrying a whole tree over his shoulders.

"What kind of strength..."

"Now move back, man. I have to take more rest because of your contribution to my daytime activity now."

Kael just scoffed, and the man immediately jumped into the sidelines without saying a single word. Kael repeated the same process a few more times; he moved out of the village into the forest and with a single swing of his axe, he casually cut off the trees and dragged them into the village again.

"Well, I guess they did something like that, right?"

Kael analyzed the design he had in mind with materials in hand, and with his giant axe, it was easy to cut the wood however he wanted. In a few hours, the new house was complete, this time much bigger, stable, with a kitchen and toilet attached inside, along with a comfy bedroom and hall.

"Thank you for providing the tools, Lady Saintess," Kael thanked the timid little girl who helped him by providing the nails and such to make the new house.

"Mhm."

The little girl seemed to be more relaxed around Kael now, but suddenly, a few other kids also started to protest.

"What the hell?! Kael!"

"We helped too!"

"I brought you the hammer?!!"

"Can't you say thank you to me! I carried the wooden plates for the roof?!!"

Kael just sighed and placed a silver coin in each kid's hand and casually walked into the newly made house.

"Yes! Yes! Thank you for your assistance! Go buy whatever you like with the money! Tell me if someone snatches things away from you! Now don't disturb me until noon; I want to sleep~"

While the kids watched the coins in their hands, their eyes sparkled with excitement.

"Woooaaah! A silver coin!"

"Man! That's a lot of money!"

"It's my first salary?! I'm rich!!!"

"So cool! Kael is more badass than expected!!!"

The villagers watching this were also shocked because in this world, currency is divided by some pretty cool standards.

The currency of coins here is divided into several stages, the currency is called 'paise,' and there are several coins that carry different values, starting with a bronze coin that equals 10 paise, then a silver coin which is 1000 paise, a gold coin which is 100,000 paise, and even above that is a platinum coin, rare even to royals in the capital, worth 10,000,000 paise each.

The average income of a family in a village is about 10 to 20 silver coins, which is 10,000 to 20,000 paise per month. So, getting 1000 paise each, the kids held a considerable reward for a mere hour of little help with their little hands. Giving them too much might cause them trouble, so Kael was considerate about everything.

As instructed, no one disturbed him directly until noon, but obviously, the kids were curious and looked at him sleeping through the window from time to time.

"Well, that was a rather nice nap..."

Kael finally woke up by evening and noticed some commotion going on outside his house in the village.

"Oh! We have the money! Give us that candy ball!"

"I want a bigger one?!!"

"Gimme that one!!!"

"Ohhh, you brought local spices too? Great!"

Kael, hearing all the uproar, finally came out of the house and noticed a merchant carrying various items in a cart along with a few of his workers surrounded by people of the village and kids jumping with coins in their hands to buy things they liked.

Kael arrived beside the little girl from last time and was questioned with crossed arms, looking at the whole crowd.

"Wassup?"

The girl looked back at Kael and suddenly burst into a smile despite all the smell and explained.

"Kael? They are merchants from a nearby town! They go around selling merchandise among villages like us and visit each place once a week. How about buying some cloth for yourself? You smell like dead dogs!"

Despite saying such hurtful words, she was smiling so innocently that Kael couldn't utter a single word except for that tired frown in his eyes.

"Quite the sharp kiddo, aren't you? Well, you aren't wrong anyways..."

Kael sighed and easily arrived between the crowd and looked at that merchant who visibly seemed like quite a round ball and just questioned.

"Can I get some spices and a few sets of clothes in my size?"

The merchant observed Kael for a moment, assessing his outfit and appearance, and muttered, "An Adventurer? No, rather you smell more like a mercenary."

"Bounty Hunter, now my merchandise," Kael replied, his words laced with coldness. The merchant immediately turned around to take out the materials. Kael inspected the materials and tossed five silver coins to the merchant.

"Give whatever this missy demands for the price of my change remaining," Kael said, and then he left, carrying a few sets of clothes and some spices, leaving others a bit surprised by his attitude.

"How about a box of candy?" the little girl also asked with a smile. The merchant, accustomed to such attitudes, handed over a jar full of candies to the little girl that was almost the size of her chest itself.

"Hehehe!" The girl seemed rather happy with what she got.

Kael finally took a bath, washing off all the smell of blood and other odors from him. He thoroughly cleaned up his face and hair, leaving himself looking noble and clean in appearance. However, the dark color in his eyes and the seriousness in his face showed that he wasn't someone to be messed with.

'Sexy!'

'Since when was he so cool looking...'

'Here goes my crush...'

'Hot?!'

The young girls of the village were easily impressed by his neat appearance and well-defined physique.

"Ohhh! Kael! You are handsome?!" The little girl was the first one to compliment, and the other kids also surprised him with bright shining eyes.

"Ohhh! Look at those muscles!!!"

"Holy shit! I will also grow up tall and strong!"

"Why are your hairs like old men though?"

"So you were an old man, Kael?"

Kael just sighed, picked up a normal-looking axe, and started moving towards the forest outside of the village.

"I'm not old; my hair is just naturally like that. Well, anyway, what's your name, missy?"

"Amy!" Kael nodded as the other kids also followed him outside of the village and started shouting their own names too.

"I'm Rine!"

"Grann!"

"I'm Shima!"

"Bojrr!!"

"I didn't ask; I don't care about you shits," Kael responded coldly, but the more he acted like that, the more the kids poked him with their words. The villagers also seemed to be no longer cautious about Kael's actions because of his behavior.

"Man, he is just too cool..."

"Sigh, I didn't know kids would like him so much."

"They just want to see a hero."

"Well, he is indeed strong!"
