2 Commander's sister

Emily's POV

I get up from my bed and walk to the bathroom. I brush my teeth, take shower, I shit too and put on my cadet clothes.

'Ah finally I graduated. And now one more step. I'm gonna be by my brother's side forever, I'm gonna make him proud!' I thought.

People don't really liked me because I'm the Commander's sister. They really hated me for just being his sister. They thought that I got in here in the first place because my brother got me in. I never had a friend so I had a hard time trying to make one. Some people came to me to be friend just to get on his good sides. They don't know that I worked hard for this.

I was day dreaming when my brother's voice loudly that it hurts my ear. I did stand in the front row. So I kinda bleed my ear.

"Thank you all for your hard work. I'd like to announce for the top 10 soldier...

Number 10, Sasha Blouse...

Number 9, Connie Springer...

Number 8, Marco Bodt...

Number 7, Jean Kirtsein...

Number 6, Even Jaeger...

Number 5, Annie Leonhart...

Number 4, Berthold Hoover...

Number 3, Reiner Braun...

And number one is me...

Number 1, Emily Smith.

"This 10 soldier can join the Military Police. It's up to them. But I do hope for you to stay for the scout regimen. I need people with skills and is willing to give their heart."

My brother keeps on blabbering some gibberish because I wasn't even paying attention to what he had said. I was looking around and had my eyes fall on the Captain. He was good looking, for me at least. But I can tell that he would treat people coldly. I was staring at him what felt like hours when he glares at me. I quickly looked away when I realised I glare a little at him... maybe a little too much. I got snapped back at reality when my brother said who wanted to stay for the scout regimen and that the others can leave.

"For those who who don't want to join the scouts regimen you can take your leave." Erwin said.

I already predicted that most of them would leave. I mean, who would be crazy enough to kill themselves and fed themselves to the Titan?! Accept me of course.

"I'd like to say thank you for those who had joined us for the scout regimen." He said. (I'm just gonna skip this part Bcs you guys already know what's going to happen)

*Time skipped to the future*

I got tired after that. So I walked to Erwin's office just to hear someone was raising their voice... AT MY BROTHER!

"Wait, you want me to put her in my squad?! You know that I don't want some random brat to be in my squad!" The man said.

I tried to listen to what my brother had to say, I was so confused.

"Believe me, just take her. I'm sure she would be a great soldier and wouldn't be a burden at all." Erwin said.

I was leaning against the wall, waiting for whoever that yelled at my brother to come out.

For what felt like forever the door was finally open and I was shocked when I saw the Captain in front of me. I quickly saluted at him.

"Sir!" I said.

"Tch." He click his tongue and left... just like that.

I quickly get in the room and turn to my brother.

"Brother! I missed you!" I said while making my way towards him.

"Emily! Keep it down will you?" He said chuckling while hugging me.

"I just wanted to say that your speech is inspiring!" I said while thinking that I didn't listen to most of what he was saying.

"Huh... So I see you didn't pay attention." Erwin said while chuckling.

"What are you talking about? I was listening the whole time." I said while fidgeting my finger.

"I don't think that you actually listen to what I was saying. I didn't give any inspiring speech and I saw you were day dreaming while I was talking." Erwin said smiling at me.

"Okay okay, you caught me. I was just boring with all of those stuff you were saying. I headed it all the time when I sneaked in." I said.

"Anyway! What was that about? Did you argue with Captain Levi about something?" I asked him.

"You eavesdropping then?" He sighed and said "There's nothing you should worried about, it's nothing really." He said.

I clearly an not satisfied with the answer but I just let it slipped. I just said goodnight then left for my room.

I can't really sleep that night still thinking about what my brother had discussed with Captain Levi.

I decided to take a walk outside. It was really peaceful here, I can't believe that just beyond those walls, there's titan. I started to laying down while staring at the sky. I didn't notice that I was already sleepy and doze off for a second.

I open my eyes when I saw someone that was looking at me while I was laying down. I'm too shocked to think straight so I punched that guy out of my face.

As I was getting up, I realised that I punched CAPTAIN. FREAKING. LEVI!
