3 Visiting Mother

Ivy was suddenly awoken from her trance as she felt someone, or rather something touching her face. She slowly opened her closed eyes only to look at her son who was busy prepping her face with small kisses.

When James saw that his mother was awake, he hugged her tightly as he told her in a sing-along manner.

"Mama you were the one who felt asleep not me haha."

He told her happily as if he had discovered a huge secret.

Ivy looked at the little ball of sunshine as she gathered him in her arms as she replied to him in a dotting manner.

''Yes baby what should I do? I never thought that I would be the one fall asleep instead of you.''

James gave his mother another earth-shattering smile as he tried to harden his voice to sound older and perhaps maturer to his mother as he commanded her,

''For falling asleep before me mother, you must be punished!"

Ivy also played along with her son as she placed a hand on her chest, right above her heart as she said in a bewildered voice.

''Oh my, punishment? Then please do tell me what my punishment shall be your majesty!''

James laughed at her mother before he acted as if deep in thought before once again told her in a commanding voice,

''For your punishment, you are to be attacked by kisses and tickles.''

Finishing his sentence James lunged at her before kissing, no smothering her faces with kisses as his small hands tried to relentlessly tickle her at her stomach.

The two of them continued to play together just like this for a while as the scenery kept changing outside the window and the old driver smiled at them while looking through the mirror.

After playing for a while, James grew tired as he leaned his head against Ivy and looked outside to the skyscrapers which were slowing coming into their view.

Ivy also looked outside as she once again thought back to the dreadful day she lost her mother which was also the day at which she started a new life by taking over her mother's mission and vowed to take revenge for her mother's accident which she believed to be more than just a simple case of drunk driving.
