Lucas Wood nervously paced in the large living room as his wife sat on one of the twin sofas in the lavish living room that screamed money from the curtains to the painting set out on display.

"What are you pacing for?"

She asked uneasily.

"How could this have happened?''

Lucas muttered to himself, not paying attention to his wife as he continued to pace the living room.

"What happened? Why are you so troubled after seeing that... that girl at the party?''

"Shut up!''

Lucas yelled as he saw red in his eyes.

"Just shut up and don't speak if you don't know anything! Do you have any idea who she is now?''

She replied naively

''No! You are wrong! She is from the Belmont family.... the Belmont family.''

"So what?''

She again asked, not knowing the significance that the Belmont name carried.

She said, justifying it by the fact that she, a lady who was born in a notable family had not heard about it till now.

He again yelled.

"Of course you haven't heard about them because you didn't have the status to even learn about their existence, less than their name,

They are the biggest and the most powerful family in the entire world, they even have connections to some of the world leaders and royal families not only that, but they also have the world's largest private army.''

"So why are you so nervous?"

She again asked, not knowing what the problem was.

''The problem is that I had no idea about this.''

"So what if you didn't know about this?"

She asked.

''If I had even the slightest clue about this, then I would have never ousted her from the house.

He said as he stopped pacing the living room and walked to the table to pour himself a glass of water. Turning back to look at his wife, he told her.

"Call Damon and get him to meet me tomorrow.''

"Why do you want to meet Damon so suddenly?''

He asked as he silently calculated if he had any partner who worked in the registry office who could perhaps help him in making a certain divorce paper and data disappear.

She asked with surprise evident in his voice.

He asked while taking out his mobile to check if he still had the number of the woman who worked at the registry office.
