17 Truth (3)

"Well fine",

Leo sighed as he looked at Damon and told him.

"I will tell you, but you better promise that you will not yell at me or curse me try to harm me."

Jack looked at Leo as he asked him,

"Is it that serious?"

Leo heard Jack but he continued to look at Damon as he waited for his word.

And only after getting a nod from Damon did Leo begin.

"So...um...yeah...when I was in high school I made friends with the wrong kind of kids, at first everybody warned me about them but I did not listen. It was only after I spend some time with them that I got to know that they were into drugs and all that nonsense.

And when I tried to leave their group, they wouldn't let me quit and sometime after that, they successfully coerced me into trying drugs with them.

At first, I resisted, but in the end, the peer pressure was too much that I had to give in.

After that I became an addict and started to hang with them out of own will and need, you see they were part of some bigger group who supplied them the drugs and they, in turn, distributed it.

Later, when they got sure of my loyalty and my addiction, they introduced me to the core group.''

Leo stopped speaking as he peeked a look at his brother, and as he had thought, his brother's face looked so dark that one might think that he was planning a mass murder.

Taking a deep breath, Leo continued from where he had left.

"The core group was controlled by Harry Evans entirely, but Millie Grey also had quite the influence. It was there that I met Ivy.

At the time we met, she was already Harry's girlfriend. Well, one thing is for sure that she was surprised to see me there as she continued to stare at me for the rest of the time.

Well, I was also surprised, I don't think you guys know, but me and Ivy were really good friends until her mother died and she went over her personality change.

After that, I saw more of her often,

It was around one year after I got addicted, that was I caught.

One day in the usual club, me and my original group were hanging out when suddenly police raided the place and brought all of us away to the police station.

It was then I met the real Ivy for the first time.''

*********

Seven years ago, Police station, detention room.

A young Leo sat on the floor in one of the rooms, with his knees buckled up and his face hidden in them, painting the perfect picture of misery.

'Shit! They are gonna call my parents, and then everyone will know how low I have fallen to do drugs.'

He thought as he brought up his head to look at the others who were beside him but failed to look at the guys with whom he was hanging out with.

'Well figures, looks like someone got them out.'

He once again wailed in his misery.

Closing his eyes, he tried to come up with possible explanations he could give his family about why he was doing something he should not be doing.

Suddenly he heard loud noises with seemed to stop in front of his cell, opening his eyes and looking up, he saw the lest person he expected to see there.

Looking down on from the other side of the bars, stood Ivy as she glared at him for a second before motioning one of the prison guards to come towards her.

Fishing out a paper from her pockets, she gave it to the guard and told him.

"I want this one. Erase all matter about him, he wasn't there and no one saw him, alright?''

Seeing the paper, the guard got quite a shock as he could only nod to answer back.

Saying her piece, Ivy took off without giving Leo another look.

The confused Leo still had no idea what the hell was happening with the sudden appearance of Ivy and how he was able to get out of the prison scot-free.

Walking outside in a daze, Leo was suddenly startled when he heard someone call out his name.

Looking around he saw a soldier in uniform coming towards him,

"Mr. Wood, Chief wants to have a word with you, please follow me.''

Saying this, he turned around and walked to a black car nearby. While Leo, after winning an internal battle with himself followed behind him.

The soldier stood towards the back door as he opened the door for Leo and motioned for him to enter.

Entering the car, Leo got another surprise as he saw Ivy comfortably sitting there with her legs crossed as she browsed through her phone.
