Damon took a deep breath as he tried to calm down after being reminded of his colorful past.

"That is what I also thought... that the two of us shared a marriage of convenience and that there would be no need for me to change my ways after getting married.

I could continue my lifestyle and Ivy could continue her relationship with Harry.''

Damon told them with a sigh,

"Then what is the damn problem!"

A confused and mostly agitated Oliver asked.

"The f**king problem is that the real Ivy is not the Ivy we all know!''

"What the hell is that supposed to mean?"

A perplexed Jack asked.

''It means that the great Damon Wood is an idiot.''

A voice suddenly said,

Snapping their heads to the door all of them were surprised to see Leo Wood, Damon's younger brother standing there with his hand in his pocket.

While Damon looked at him and bent down as he held his face in between his palms and said,

"You knew."

It was not a question but an affirmative sentence,

"Oh Yeah I f**king knew and I also told you! I told you to give her some space... that she had something which she can't tell you! But what the hell did you do? You believed the lies of others and wronged her and wronged your son!"

"Guys I think that I missed some details... firstly what the hell are you guys talking about and secondly what the hell are you doing here Leo, aren't you supposed to be in Hawaii?''

Nodding to each of them a form of recognition, he told them,

"First, why don't you ask my brother about Ivy and how he so miraculously messed up.''

Taking a deep breath, Damon looked at his friends as he told them.

"Ivy was never romantically interested in Harry."

Roy, who was taking a sip of his drink, spurted out the whole thing as he started to cough like crazy.

A shocked Jack also looked at him with his eyes wide open as he asked him.

"We are talking about the same Ivy right? Ivy Brown who followed behind Harry Evans like a devoted follower. The one who was still dating him despite being married to you? Heck! Even after she gave birth to your son James?"

Meanwhile, Oliver just looked at Damon the whole time and said only a single word.

"Explain"

Sighing for the nth time today, Damon took a sip of his drink as he told them.

"Ivy was working together with the army in order to catch the families who were responsible for distribution of drugs in the country.

The entire time she was acting as a spy while staying beside Harry and her cousin.''

"Are you sure?"

Oliver asked,

"Yes, on the day she disappeared, she was at the hospital after a car accident along with James. There I met other soldiers who told me about it.''

"She didn't tell you... about her being an undercover agent and all?"

Jack asked Damon.

"She....she tried to but...it was me who never gave her the chance to tell me.

On our wedding night, she told me that she had something extremely important to tell me...but it was me who told her that I had nothing to do with her and then left her alone and went out to enjoy myself.

After that... she never tried to tell me again I guess.''

"Hell! Just when did she join the army? She was nineteen years old when she was married off to you.''

"When she was sixteen years old, the same year her mother died.''

This time it was Leo who answered the question.

"What the hell!!"

A chorus of surprise voices was heard.

Damon heard the commotion all around him as he stared as his brother in confusion.

He knows about Ivy's involvement as he was the one who was with her at the hospital when she got injured, but he didn't tell his family anything about it so how does his little brother come to know of it?

Looking at Leo, Damon asked him with a firm voice.

"How do you know"

Upon hearing the question, Leo looked surprised as he turned his face away from Damon and looked at everything in the room except for him.

Seeing that Leo had no wish to answer his question, Damon once again repeated his question.

"Tell me, how do you know."
