9 Siren

Noah's car

Noah left work on time and had gone home to shower and change. He was now on his way to pick up Ivy, he has to go to a charity event and he hated to go to these events but it was a good cover-up. He also hated the women at these events they would watch him and sometimes approach him. They were covered in heavy makeup and drowned in perfume, it disgusted him. So he thought Ivy would be his partner tonight and keep them all away. He smiled at the thought of his kitten baring her claws.

Driving there he smiles just at the thought of seeing her again. He gets out of the car and goes up to her apartment and knocks on the door. There was no response. He tries again and again. Hearing nothing he breaks the door in and enters. Walking around he can tell she's gone. Leaving her apartment and returning to his car in a foul mood he shouted at Aiden.

"Get someone to get all her belongings and bring them to my apartment also cancel her lease and fix her door".

"Yes sir". Aiden had hoped his boss would be happy but it seems Ivy had dodged him.

Seeing Thomas happily texting it made Noah mad.

"Who are you chatting too?".

"Ivy".

"You have her number?".

This made Noah even more furious, she was nice to Thomas but avoided him.

"Yes, boss.... we are gonna meet at the gym again".

Seeing Noah glaring at him Thomas scratches the back of his neck nervously. He didn't know what he did wrong.

"Phone".

Noah held out his hand to Thomas.

"Yes, boss".

Thomas handed his phone to Noah and then Noah handed it back a small smirk forming on his face.

Thomas looked over at Aiden for help. Aiden just shook his head. He had made friends with the boss lady and got her number before the boss did. He was better off saying nothing.

Arriving at the charity event Noah walks in the doors flanked by Aiden and Thomas. This would be a quick visit, he still had to visit his warehouse where the men that had attacked him that night were being held and interrogated.

Noah walked in not saying hello to anyone just a nod to the host before he sat like a king in the VIP section. No one dared approach. Aiden went and got Noah a whiskey and set it down in front of him.

Finding it all completely boring and tedious. Noah rubbed his glabella and looked at the time. Half an hour had passed, time to leave he thought.

He started to get up when he saw Ivy enter. She looked like a siren that could lure him to his death. He sat back down and waited to approach her. An older man linked her arm, is he her lover?

"Aiden who is that man with Ivy?".

"Sir that's CEO Victor Hughes".

"Mmm, invite him over".

"Yes sir".

"Noah, ah it is you remember me, my father is director Smith".

A girl he didn't know sits down next to Noah. He didn't even look her way, he kept his eyes on Ivy.

Aiden walked to CEO Hughes spoke to him then returns to Noah's VIP area with Ivy and Victor following behind him.
