16 SWORN BROTHERS

A man wearing a pair of grey striped trousers and white collar shirt inside his black coat was walking towards the balcony of the Qin Mansion while carrying a tray of drinks and snacks in his hands. As he reached the balcony, he saw his master staring at the overlooking view of the city. The man lowered his head and politely said:

"Excuse me Chairman Qin, please pardon my intrusion. Here are your favorite snacks, Gyokuro tea and anpan. I also brought your medicine."

"Thank you Butler Quan. Please leave them on the table." The Chairman paused.

"How's the preparation going?" Chairman Qin then asked without turning his eyes away from the city view.

Butler Quan carefully placed the tray on the table and poured the cup with tea as he answered the Chairman's query.

"Everything is all set, Chairman Qin. We are just waiting for CEO Wang's arrival."

Chairman Qin gave a few nods before instructing his butler to leave and report to him once CEO Wang arrived.

Few minutes after his butler left, the old man sat down and lifted up his tea cup. He smiled warmly as he sniffed the sweet, fresh, and flowery-green aroma of the tea.

'Hmmm... What a nostalgic feeling.

Brings me back to my youthful days. To our reckless but exciting youthful days in Japan, right Isamu? Hmm... How long has it been since you left this world my good old friend? Ah yes, about two years now. Oh, have you met with sister Skyla? Are the two of you watching over us?'

Chairman Qin can't helped but yearn for his dear friends Isamu and Skyla. Upon reminiscing the past, the old man started to shed tears as he begun to feel lonelier inside.

Wang Reiji and her crew arrived at the Qin Mansion around 7:55 in the evening. As she went down the car, she can't help but wander her eyes around the estate. The japanese architectural design was truly captivating. There were cherry blossoms and maple trees. There was also a man-made lake and a boat that match. There's also a bridge over the lake. It looks very lovely and romantic. She sighed in amazement.

'The Qin family is certainly the best in the fields of architecture and engineering. It's really a good thing that Sho personally handles the designs of our hotels.'

Few moments later, a man wearing a black long sleeve changshan with a red dragon embroidery on its left chest went out the mansion's main door entrance.

He stopped his steps when he saw the gorgeous woman standing in front of him. He can't help but stare at her for she looks like a goddess who just set foot in the mortal realm. He wanted to call out her name, but his eyes and mind were fixated to this stunning lady.

"cough... cough... Big bro Sho, why don't you take a photo instead? It'll last longer." Qin Rong said while smirking at his older brother.

Qin Sho blushed. To hide his embarrassment, he mussed up Qin Rong's hair and changed the topic.

"Mind your own business. Did you do what you were told?" Qin Sho quickly retorted.

"Whew! Easy with the hair bro. Anyway, everything is set. Just wait and see, sister Reiji will definitely notice you."

Qin Rong said while fixing his hair.

"Thanks, bro." Qin Sho thanked his brother and hurriedly went to Wang Reiji to welcome her.

"Hi, Rei. You look awesome tonight." Qin Sho finally gathered the courage to approach Wang Reiji.

Wang Reiji smiled to Qin Sho and said:

"Thank you, Sho. You also look awesome tonight. Your changshan suits you well. "

Qin Sho smiled from ear to ear upon hearing Wang Reiji's compliments.

"Really? Maybe I should start wearing changshan everyday. Anyway, let's continue our chat inside."

Qin Sho said while offering his right arm to escort Wang Reiji inside the mansion.
