As soon as I said that, everyone became silent. I thought it would go on for a few more seconds but Olivia took everyone's attention.

"B-But why don't we all just work together and solve this problem?!"

I shrugged my shoulders, "If that was even remotely possible, this thing wouldn't even have happened in the first place."

"What—"

Johnny interjected, "Hmm? Why do you think that?"

"In my opinion, this is not the end of the world as the holy book says or a supernatural one. Somewhere, someone or a group of people made this and spread it around the world. There could be multitudes of reasons on why they did it, it could even be a fucking accident. The point is, that is what we humans are, we are all the same but we are all different."

"Wait, you lost me there kid," Oscar added.
