4 The Goddess

And after he said those words, the commanding officer approached him and then he handed seems to be a letter of reparation and the medal of his service at the mission. "I don't deserve such a medal, sir. My brothers died…" Revo whispered, as he felt the pain of losing a family and a brother in arms. Even though he was new to the Alpha team, he felt he was a part of the family that was created.

"We are re-creating the Alpha team…" the commanding officer looked at Revo through his teary eyes "And we feel that, you need to rest for a while, Revo until further notice you are to be put into the reserve into the Blue team for now."

Revo looked at the commanding officer and as he slowly touched his left eye that was covered with bandages. "Is it because of my left eye? Is that it?" the commanding officer sighed in grief as he felt the sadness in Revo words.

The commanding officer saluted Revo and left the room. Revo felt the loneliness in the 4 corners of the hospital room. And he tried to reach the remove that was placed on the side of the table. He clicked the one button on the tv. And the tv momentarily opened with the static of channels at first.

"News Flash, last night the armed groups of Alhaam terrorist group and a company of New people's army soldiers have engaged in a fierce firefight with the Philippine Marines. According Brigadier General Henson Kaliwa the engagement between two groups has a cleared authorization and the casualties from both sides have increased in the count of 50+ casualties from the enemy while 10 wounded and 4 dead on the side of the Philippine Mari-"

Revo turned off the tv as he felt nothingness when he heard that news. ``We tried to save many people. But we are not recognize who are the true saviors of those people. We carry the burden but in return we are happy that we save those who are in need of our help.``

"Congrats, Technical Sergeant. I am discharging you according to this vital sign you are free to go by tomorrow. Your body really has a good healing phase, you know. And yeah, about your left eye you have been consulting for the past few days. Sadly, that is the bad news. It will stay blurry and it will decrease its visibility when you go back to fight."

Revo nodded as he heard those words from the doctor. "Well then, I should leave you and celebrate for your discharge by tomorrow." The Doctor leaves the room. And Reve gritted his teeth in anger. He tried to hold it in, but he cannot accept that he cannot return to active duty because of his left problem.

And especially, he is in the Force Recon battalion. Revo laid on the bed, covering his eyes. He clasped his fist, as he was really furious about the news. And soon the entire room shake the vibration from the entire room is getting faster and faster.

As if there was an earthquake, but if there is an earthquake, why is there no nurse that is knocking at his door. He remove the arm that was covering his eyes. And he saw a flashing light in front of him, the dazzling light blinded him. After that, a sweet voice is like whispering in his ears.

Revo cannot believe that a goddess was in front of him. The Goddess voice is murmuring something, but he cannot understand it. And the goddess walked towards him and she touched his face and his left eye and whispered gently to his left ear.

"I will grant you the wish that you want. But there is a thing that you must avoid. The lust of women. And if you can avoid that. Then your power and the left eye that has a problem will be the key to return to your duty as a warrior."

Revo gulped as he heard those words, Revo tried to stare at her beautiful silky face, ``A beautiful Diwata, a goddess" the words that are running through his mind while looking at the Diwata in front of him. "Yes, I will follow your request to avoid temptation of lust. So grant me my wish Goddess" and the Goddess smiled at Revo and touched his left eye. And blows at it. Revo blinked as if nothing happened. "What the heck happened, Am I hallucinating." He exclaimed as he was looking at the wall. But he did not notice that the tv was on and it was reporting something.

It was reporting a certain event that will occur on the day, an occurrence that is scientist have never have understood. And that is a comet passing by so close to the earth it will create something. But the scientist doesn't know what is the event that will happen.

So Revo looked at the sky and, as it said in the news, that there was really a comet. And as he looked at it, Revo whispered "beautiful"

Revo was in his Marine uniform and the sack that he needs to carry. He was about to turn around when he was a beautiful nurse, and after looking at the nurse eyes his left eye suddenly hurt so, he put his hand on his left eye and yelped in pain the nurse grabs his arm but Revo hold her hand and try to slide it off while saying "It's fine nurse don't worry"

Revo quickly rush to the hallway thinking of my things. `` the goddess last night was true to her words, avoid lust what am I thinking oh geezz`` Revo while he was about to go inside the elevator he saw another beautiful doctor that was inside the elevator. And as he was about to enter the elevator, he saw the doctor and once again his left eye hurt.

"Damn, I just regained its composure and the here it is again," he whispered. The Doctor walked up to him and said "Are you okay, Sir?" Revo replied "I should take the stairs instead." After that, Revo immediately heads towards the stairs to go down to the 1st floor. Luckily the hospital is only 4 floors.

"What am I thinking looking at girls? Am I that lustful" Revo exclaimed as he felt the pain slowly vanishing and his vision from his left eye is like a scope of a MSSR. it's like zooming in and out. But Revo thought it was just the side effect of hallucination from the medicine he was taking for the painkiller of some aches in his body.

And as he was going down, he saw another nurse running towards the stairs. "Oh, lord" the nurse shouted "Get away!" they both collided and Revo sat on the ground while the nurse is on the ground laying.

Revo accidentally looked at the nurse's silky legs. And as expected, his left eye hurts badly. `` Revo quickly gets up while holding his left eye and offering his hand to the nurse. The nurses agreed to take his hand, so Revo could help the nurse get up. But Revo doesn't want to stay any longer. So he rushed out of the hospital.

``Why am I meeting too many girls today? I am supposed to be in the barracks at this time of the day. Come on. Where is my service vehicle? `` Revo was already a bit of late at the call time for the Blue team to assemble? As he was a sit in instructor, it does not require His attendance for the whole training but he is to supervise the new instructors of the Blue team.

Revo reached the training barracks, and as he was expecting, they were waiting for him. Revo changes his face to a smug like not to be reckoned with a face. His eye was narrowing their eyes as if he will give them an exercise if they looked at his eyes.

Revo walked in front of them and the other instructor steps aside. Revo uniform was entirely perfect for the training, and the other instructors did not question why he was late. But as he walked in front of them, they notice something was different. Revo aura change.

Revo looked at the new candidates for Blue team and he said in a rough voice. "Don't expect that you will pass to be part of the Red Team. Blue team is the phase were all of you will crack. And we have expected it. So don't be a hero"

Revo turn around and nodded at the chief instructor of the day. After that, Revo entered the office of the Force Recon Battalion to report to the commanding officer about his return.
