11 QRF Moves

All of them were silent, not even a single one of them was able to answer the Lieutenant colonel question.

"I want all of you to reverify all your assets on the ground. If this kind of thing happened again then our information for the whole island will be in disarray. This kind of intelligence information will be one of the most vital, but if it fails it will be one of the worse backlashes that we will receive."

The Lieutenant Colonel turned around and he saw an Operation sergeant that was about to open the door. And the Lieutenant Colonel looked at the operation Sergeant.

"What is it?" and the Operation sergeant replied with "Sir, we need you in the operation office" And the Lieutenant Colonel nodded and immediately walks out of the office of the Military intelligence.

The Lieutenant Colonel walks in inside the operation office. And he saw the Staff Sergeant standing, the Lieutenant Colonel approached the Staff Sergeant and said "What the heck is going on Sergeant?" the Staff Sergeant looked at the Lieutenant colonel and said with a nervous tone of voice

"Sir, our forces are currently in the midst of a center-planned ambushed situation. Both QRF 1 and Alpha Team is under intense heavy fire. And casualties are slowly increasing on the QRF 1 side but fatalities from both sides are still negative to count."

The Lieutenant Colonel sighed heavily, he felt back a bit and he looked at the map and the current location and coordinates of each unit on the ground.

"Staff Sergeant set me an Artillery unit and set up an artillery barrage on enemy locations. For ground support and also reinforce QRF 1, call in the army coordinate to them that we are going in need of 2 of their tanks to push out the ambushed forces from the location that they are being halted on." The Lieutenant Colonel nodded to the Staff Sergeant as he finished.

[On the ground QRF 1 side]

"First and Second Squad left flank defensive formation. 3rd Squad Moves to the Right flank for a flanking position." The 1st Lieutenant shouted as he was giving specific orders. "Control fire, avoid burst firing on the enemy"

and then one marine soldier shouted "RPG! GET DOWN!" and the RPG rocket fired *Swoooosh* the rocket traveled in speed and struck the front of the truck and it exploded. *BOOM* the soldiers get down as the debris flies from all directions. Followed by the explosion were the thick black smoked and fiery flames.

"Shi- the truck exploded, Radioman!" the 1st lieutenant shouted as he was firing in other directions to give a covering fire on the running radio man towards him. "Call Dragon and tell them we are now stuck on this location due to the 1st truck getting blown up." And the radioman nodded.

[Radio: Dragon… Dragon… this is QRF 1 over]

[Radio: This is Dragon to QRF 1 you are loud and clear what is your current status over]

[Radio: QRF 1 is now stuck on this location over, our 1st truck got blown up by an RPG we are in need of rescue over]

[Radio: Copy that QRF 1 waits for further instruction. For now, hold and contain the enemies as possible.]

[Radio: Copy that Dragon]

"Sir," the radioman approached the Lieutenant that was hiding on the bush and firing at the enemy at the front. "So what did the HQ tell us to do after the 1st truck exploded are we going to retreat?" the Lieutenant asked the radioman but the radioman replied with

"Sir, we are advised to stay here and contain the enemy to avoid further damage" And after the Lieutenant heard that he felt a bit disappointed but they are trained to be like this to be able to fight in the harshest type of war being a marine.

*RATATATTATAT* *Brrrrrt* *RATATATTATATAT* *Brrrrrt* *RATATATTATATAT*

"Oh damn, this place is getting intense as ever this is the last time I get engage with the separatist armed groups last time we have engage with them but it was only a skirmish but this time they are really fighting us and they also have an RPG which is a bit amused as of now"

The Lieutenant laugh and smirked as he was gripping his M4 carbine as he was discussing the armed separatist groups with his Sergeant First Class.

"Well what can we say, Sir, those separatist are also want us to engage them with a real fight because they always want to run" and both of them were laughing until a loud shout from the right side of the

"12 o'clock tactical on the move!" and all of them looked north as they saw a pickup truck with a 50 cal machine gun at the back. "What the hell! I want a grenadier firing at that tactical! Other do a covering fire!"

And with that appearance of the tactical, they were not able to fire first because they were greeted with the intensity of a 50 cal suppressing fire bullets flying over them.

"I thought this place was to be thick as jungle how come they were able to import such arms to this place." One of the new Marine soldiers exclaimed as he was holding his M16 rifle while burying himself on the ground so that the bullet won't going to hit him.

After the 50. Cal stops firing now it was the chance of the QRF 1 to return fire on the location of the tactical. And that is what they did they opened fire with opening burst fire. Multiple armed men were shot down because they were out in the open they thought that the QRF 1 was silenced because of the tactical bu they were wrong they were facing marines and not normal army soldiers.

The armed man that was about to fire the 50 cal once again was shot down by one of the platoon marksmen. At the head, "Nice shot buddy!" one of his marine soldier buddy tapped his shoulder as he shot dead the armed man that will be able to man the 50 cal once again.

After that one of the grenadiers of the platoon fired the grenade launcher onto the pickup truck and it exploded. *KABOOM* after the explosion followed by the fiery flames and the black smoke that almost created a bit of foggy black smoke across the field of fire.

[On the Operation office]

"Sir, as of now the QRF 1 is still holding sadly their 1st truck exploded into an RPG rocket sir, what will I tell them." One of the communication sergeants turned to the lieutenant colonel that is now currently thinking about what he will do on this mission. "Tell them to wait for the QRF 2 before pulling back. And what about the Alpha team sir?"

The Lieutenant Colonel puts his hands on his forehead as it was already getting sweaty inside an air-conditioned room. "Sir I have received communication with the army forces that are in Sulu they are now responding to the troops on the said location sir."

[Radio: this is Bravo-1 we are now a few kilometers near the location of the ambush site we are now in need of coordination with the troops at the front so that they will now take us as enemies.]

[Radio: Bravo-1 this is Dragon of the Marines, we will now coordinate with the front forces we are currently going to tell them that the ETA of the 2nd QRF is on the way.]

[Radio: Copy that Dragon we are now on the move over and out]

[Radio: QRF 1 this Dragon the QRF 2 is ETA 15 minutes to your location. They will be coming from the south of your location. Be advised to now engage the incoming friendly forces.]

[Radio: This is QRF 1 copy that over and out]

[On the ground QRF 1]

The Radioman run towards the lieutenant that was with the Sergeant First class that were ordering Squad 3 to move forward and advance. Meanwhile, Squad 1 and 2 will maneuver to the right side of the field of fire but as they move they will do a support fire for squad 3 that is currently moving at the same time as them.

"Sir!" the Radioman shouted, the Lieutenant turned around and said "What?" the Radioman replied with "Sir the QRF 2 is on the way to our location we should not move towards the enemy lines or there will be consequences if we did not have a proper update on our location sir."

After the radioman said that the Lieutenant shouted "HALT!" and the Sergeant First Class second the shout "HALT!" and all of them dropped on the ground once again.

After 15 minutes the 2 tanks of the army reached the marines that were halted by the ambush. The tanks moved forward to suppress the remnants of the retreating enemy forces.

The lieutenant walked towards the officer that was leading the QRF 2. "Sir" the Lieutenant said as he looked at the rank of the army officer. The Army officer saluted and said, "Sir, we are the QRF 2 we are advised that we are going to safe a special operation group that was also in the midst of an ambush?"
