'Heh. Killing me? Is this 'World' that strong and smart?'

Thinking that Ryo's face was covered with his usual 'smile'. Retracting his 'mind-manipulative' waves that he had been sending to manipulate the Viscount to make him a bit less paranoid and decided to do some random stuff till his pill took effect.

'Hope I get to see some sort of challenge. Not just some manipulative, but physical and mental. Otherwise, it will be very boring.'

' 'Higher' Level World? Heh. More like higher levels of Entertainment.'

'Man... I feel bored. Everything always goes according to the plan. Hope this time it will be completely different.'

"Attention! All soldiers we have a new addition to our rank!"

A loud voice rang through the training area of the Imperial Police headquarters as a tall muscular man with black hair and four ponytails-like braids on the back of his head wrapped in white cloth shouted.

The person had a large star-shaped scar over his missing left eye, while his remaining eye was red with a black sclera and a pair of sharp teeth. 

This look had given him a special 'name' among the people who worked under him.

They called him 'Ogre'.

As the soldiers gathered in proper arrangements, they looked over their captain and noticed a person standing by their captain, making them interested but no one broke the formation as it would be like asking for punishment.

As soon as Ogre completed saying that, all the soldiers, which consisted of tens of hundreds of policemen straightened. After all, they didn't want to get in trouble for ignoring the orders of the Captain who was titled as 'Ogre'.

Scanning the garrison, Ogre noted everything in place, so he continued, "Recently with the increase in corruption and criminal activities, the higher-ups have sent a person to monitor and command over one of the platoons."

"The Revolutionary Army is on the move, and we have heard that they have formed a small team of elite fighters, but fear not for the person who is sent is said to be among the best of the best within the Empire!" 

"So do remember, don't feel any fear. He will be acting as the vice-captain of the police force and will be in immediate control after me. Now, if I may, I would like to introduce you to your vice-captain..."

Ogre glanced over at Ryo who was wearing the hood over his body, prompting him to nod at the Ogre as he pulled his hood down. But as he lowered his hood, the whole garrison held their breath when they noticed how he looked.

'Doesn't he look like...!?'

Hazy green eyes and hair. Just looking at Ryo, their thought went haywire as suspicion started to rise in their mind as he looked at someone on the top.

Someone almost like the 'Emperor'...

As if understanding the doubts and minds of his subjects, Ogre folded his arms and said, "This is our new vice-captain. He has discarded his name and now goes with the Omega. He is from Campbell town which was destroyed by a sudden horde attack from the Danger Beasts a few weeks back."

"He was one of the few soldiers who survived and killed several Danger Beasts alone! To compensate Ryan for his loyalty and bravery, Viscount and a few other nobles have appointed Omega in our rank!"

"I hope you do not disappoint your new vice-captain.", Ogre chuckled as he patted Ryo on his back with a bit of strength to measure his strength. But as he pat Ryo's back, he noticed no reaction from him, making Ogre smile more.

'Interesting. He is stronger than the average soldier. Now I can understand why Viscount gave Omega a bit of weight in our rank. But I am still concerned. They are pulling the strings and trying to put someone within the Police Force. Just what are they planning?'

'I would have declined the offer if not for the bribes and the story but it's still interesting. I will have to look at his actions. He could be sent by those bastards to 'replace' me. But I don't know how I could have offended some of them?'

While Ogre smiled as he patted Ryo on his back, Ryo cleared his throat his face turned serious as he declared, "Hello my fellow soldier! I go by the name of Omega. I like honesty the best and hate lying people. Our task is to clear all the corruption and terrorism! Let us serve the Empire and make it great with our goal!"

As he was introducing himself, he noted that although many people looked at him with contempt, some looked at him without neutrality, especially an orange-haired girl whom he took note of while Ryo ignored the others.

'Well here's my first target of gaining some UPs.'

Soon Ryo's introduction was completed as the soldiers left for their posts while Ogre guided Ryo through the headquarters and helped him learn and understand everything that he would be doing as a vice-captain.

Ryo looked over the whole mansion-like structure which was the Imperial Police Headquarters, memorizing all the structures for future use.

He did so in case of Night Raid attacked the headquarters for some reason like trying to kill him. After all, he is messing with destiny and the world will not tolerate it.

Noting that this was a 'Higher Level' world, Ryo had considered several factors for any case or situation, which had made him confident enough to work without hesitation. The only problem is that he still hasn't figured out if the World Will's have some sort of 'personality' or not.

He had only seen and experienced one 'World Will', which was disappointing, but it was important to consider many possibilities just in case something unexpected happened. 

Unlike the 'Darling in the Franxx' world which was on the easy mode, Akame Ga Kill is like a Medium to High-level difficulty world, which in his theory means that the 'World Will' would also be stronger and there might be a case in which the world will take drastic change just to stop him.

Taking that into consideration, Ryo had a plan already formulated 2 plans for the 'Default Plot' and over 50 plans for 'What-If' scenarios. There were more plans but they had very low chances of happening so he had put them in the back of his mind.

This means that as long as there is no major change like an OP character suddenly thrown into this world, no OP System user and no OP reincarnated person suddenly hopping into the world, he is confident enough to go through all the possible trouble in his way and make it out to the end of all his plans.

'No matter what happens, I will have them integrated into my plan. Even if those OP peps suddenly jump into this world.'

"So, this will conclude the guide. I wanted to try you out for a fight right now, but since you have gone through a lot in the past few days, let's make a duel appointment between us in the future. Haha", Ogre laughed as he completed showing everything Ryo should need to know for his job.

Then he rubbed his chin and continued, "Anyway, as you are appointed as the Vice-Captain, I will be providing you with a small team of 30 people who will work under you. I hope you work hard for the Empire.", he walked toward his office as Ryo followed him.

Inside his office, Ogre pulled his desk drawer as he slipped a thick book into Ryo's hand, and said, "These are the names of the top soldiers with great potential who have recently joined the Imperial Police force. You can go through the list within an hour and tell me the names of the people that you want to work under you."

Nodding his head in seriousness, Ryo replied, "Thank you. I will do so." He started to read through the book quickly, learning the names and backgrounds of the best candidates suitable as his subordinates. 

He couldn't select all the candidates that he could easily mold for his work as it would raise suspicion for Ogre as it would become his 'small' personal army. Thus he would have to select only those who are a bit loyal and obedient toward the 'Vice-Captain' and not the 'Omega'.

Looking through the whole list, he took out the photos of the 29 best candidates for his team and slid them toward Ogre, and said, "Captain, these are the candidates that I have in my mind for my team. But there is a small request of mine which if you could help me with...", Ryo smiled wryly, showing his hesitation.

As if understanding the situation, and looking at the 'one' missing person on the list, Ogre huffed and replied, "Hmm. In any case, is your request related to the missing candidate for your team? If so, do not worry and tell me which person you want on your team."

"Well... I was hoping to get a person that I saw during my introduction. She was standing in the frontal column. The girl had dark orange hair and eyes on my team. When I was introducing myself, I noticed her. It was as if she was unique out of the group and saw potential in her."

"Hmm!? By any means... Is the girl wearing a green hair band and was in a steel chest plate and black uniform?"

"Ah! Yes, I think that's the person. But if you don't mind me asking... How were you able to understand who I was talking about?"

"Haha. How can I not know her? She is my student. Her name is Seryu Ubiquitous and she indeed has a lot of potential. As for her to be the candidate... Hmm... I will think about it and will let you know in a few days."

"Thank you, Captain!"

"No problem. Now, now, I would like to let you get used to this work. Do talk to me if you face any trouble."

Ryo nodded 'eagerly', and replied, "Yes, I will, Captain!", and with that he left the Ogre's office and walked toward his own office to his work, leaving Ogre thinking.

'Hmm. Omega... The candidates he chose were good. They will be loyal and won't betray him unless there is a major emergency and will follow his order in most cases... There are no nobles in his team which might cause some dissatisfaction but it is not a major problem...'

'Hmm... Should I send Seryu Ubiquitous to his team? She will help collect the intel of the team... But the Hekatonkheires is within the possession of Seryu and I will think about it with great care.'

On the other hand, Ryo got to his work.

The situation was a bit off. The Night Raid had just formed, and just a day before that very day they went out and killed a minor Noble within the Empire.

While Seryu Ubiquitous just gained her Teigu a week ago. Her father is still dead and she had been trained under the 'Ogre' from a year back.

And the plot was just a month and a half away.

It was as if their series of actions of his would-be happening over a very fast course of pace. 

This should not be the case as in Light Novel, the events took around 1 to 5 years if he is correct, which means that currently, he is in the 'Anime' version of the story which happened in like a time slot of a few months if he is correct.

With that in mind, he sat on his chair and looked at the pictures and information of the people who would be working on his team. Most of them come from normal households while some are from lower-level noble houses like Barons.

This means that he will just have to show his strength and abilities to them to make them admire him and little bit loyal to him. With that, he smiled and went to some folders that contained important rules like which noble houses were bribing them and which had not yet paid their bribe and stuff.

'I will now focus most of my task on locating all the Teigu-s and maintaining my reputation to medium. Esdeath had just left for hunting, which honestly made everything quite smoother.'

'Esdeath... What should I do with you...? You have great skills and killing you will be a waste while keeping you alive needs me to be always stronger than you, which might not be possible with how things will go...'

'I am not a perfect 'System' user. I can use UPs but that's all. I have plans for the UPs, and for that, I will have to save the UPs...What to do... How should I change as well as not change my plan of mine to get the most gains...?'

'Well let's start with distributing the 'Blue Pills'', With an expressionless face, Ryo stared at his hand as a part of his started to detach itself from his skin, forming a small blood 'clot' in the form of a rough blue pill.

'Good. This can be managed.'

Ryo stared at the reflection of his exposed brain as he laid himself on a medical structure while manipulating the mechanical equipment, adjusting the neural interface that connected directly to his mind.

His face had now four eyes, moving in different directions, looking at the data and helping him manage the operation.

The sterile room hummed with the soft whirr of advanced machinery, and the air carried a faint scent of antiseptic while Fraxx Worked on the sample that Ryo collected from the requirements.

"This... This is completely insane! There are two unknown 'data' integrated within your DNA! You and Zero Two are the same, biologically, but surprisingly your mess of DNA has two different 'data' present in them, which matches with the 'experiments' and the serum that you provided me with!"

Franxx studied the few biological tissues that were obtained from Ryo's brain, comparing it with the data that they gained from a few experiments that they had been doing for the past few months along with the 'two' special liquids that Ryo provided him with.

"I am quite surprised. At first, I thought that it was very hard for someone to obtain such results, like adding some 'data' into a DNA strand itself!? This is like 50 years ahead of where we are currently at. This is quite different..."

Ryo's thoughts raced, mirroring the complex network of wires and circuits surrounding him, as he ignored Franxx's grumbling. His expressionless face stared at the data that was shared with his 'other' eyes.

'I have found it, my winning string!' 

Ryo remembered how just a week ago, he decided that he had almost negligible time, he needed to speed up his plan.

'System, show me my status.'

Looking at his 'Unique Points', he recalled how much UPs he gained and spent. 

After spreading the 'Blue Pills' within the garrison, he waited for a day till 95% of the garrison forces were 'infected' with his blood. 

They had now become his possession. His most loyal soldiers. His most advantageous 'network'.

The only problem was that each of the new people working under him had started to grow more 'emotionless' and had their physical state turn to their younger peak self with blue eyes.

This was enough to get the attention of many people itself. But Ryo was not worried about it. There was no need to worry about someone judging them if there was no one to judge them.

After all, with his 'blue pills', most of them would have fallen already by the time others noticed.

As for those who notice, well they can either be silenced, killed, or lied to. 

With that, he started to build up his new base and set up the laboratory for their new 'experiments'.

It took his 20,000 UPs to gain the blueprint and documents on understanding how the 'potions' worked. While he also gained back 40,000 UP from this world trying to help maintain the balance quo by slowing down or nullifying the 'Blue Pill' effect.

The reason for the 'Potion Blueprint' to be this cheap was that it required tens of 'supernatural' items which can only be found in different worlds. So it was a sort of 'investment' from the system, encouraging him to buy items from the System in the future.

Ryo could have found it anyway with given time, but that was the problem. He didn't have any for the plot was at a short time away from them. He didn't want to take any high risk which could lead to his downfall.

Which led to the current situation.

They had finally found how the 'Love Potions' and other low-priced 'potions' worked.

These potions, or liquids flow through the body and deep into the body of the consumer, and integrate a part of their DNA with a new variation of data to the core, to the point where it looks like it used to be a part of the body from the get-go.

Which was a good thing. 

Whenever Ryo asked the system about the 'potions' that he took, the System always denied most of its existence. And it also denied him of using a 'cure' to his 'love'. But it can't deny something which is him buying something almost 'related' to the 'potions'.

After all, it is but a 'parasite' and requires to follow a set of 'rules'.

'With this, I will need to manipulate this set of data within my DNA.'

'It is very complicated and hard. Almost impossible. But it is to be done. Although I can manipulate my Biology to a certain level, manipulating it below the DNA level is super hard, even for me. It will take me at least a week to even manipulate it to a very small portion let alone body level.'

'But it's not impossible.'

With that, Ryo moved away all the equipment around his brain as he stood up, taking the upper half of his skull and sticking it near his exposed brain as small tendrils started to regrow on both parts of his skull, connecting each other back to how it was before originally. 

Knowing what he needed to do, a small portion of his brain went to try and understand how to manipulate such a small part of his body, while the other 'portion' of his brain went back to function normally.

"Meh, Let me just go check up on my lovely Angel~", Ignoring the 'old' man shouting and yelling in the background about how crazy the situation was, Ryo hummed as walked through the hallway.

*Whistle* "Woah. This is quite a good-looking and quite advanced-looking structure. Quite hard to believe that this whole structure is actually made up of Klaxosaur, and still be able to function as a mechanical lifeform."

Ryo admired the whole hallway. The whole structure was white in color with blue light flashing in each corner of the structure with tens of 'wires' passing throughout the hallway on the roof of the hallway.

The whole structure may look like an advanced man-made structure, but it was actually a Klaxosaur in hiding. Every wire and piece of equipment was formed by the Klaxosaur Structures to some point.

Admiring the structure, he passed through a group of 'Lesser Klaxo-Sapiens', a term he gave to every single person who was infected with his blood and had transformed into his 'slave'.

*Swish*

Ignoring them, he walked into a huge laboratory with many people studying and working on various Danger Beasts, that were in comatose and put in a hibernation liquid, keeping them asleep while people worked on them.

"Darling~!!!"

As soon as he entered the room, an excited voice called out to Ryo making him smile and open his arm to catch a 'cat' jumping on him. "Hello, my little Angel~", Catching Zero Two within his embrace, he called back to her.

His eyes wandered off to observe what she was wearing. 'A white lab overcoat and medical clothing?', he continued to observe her as she dived deep into his chest, sniffing deeply, taking in his scent to herself.

Looking up from his embrace, Zero Two pouted, "Darlinggg! Why didn't you return to 'home' yesterday?", She clearly expressed her dissatisfaction.

Chuckling at her actions, Ryo kissed her head as he explained, "Well, you see, I am working on another experiment that revolves around our current body and I am also working on 'something else' as well.", His information caused Zero Two to tilt her head in confusion.

"But Darling, aren't we working on improving our current 'Bloodline'? You have taught me everything that I need to know for making the serum for the next stage of our evolution and we might be able to reach that stage after a month, just like we have expected!"

Zero Two looked at him in confusion.

They had captured hundreds of different Danger Beasts and used them to help them study, understand, and integrate their characteristics into their next evolution. Although most of the Danger Beasts they captured were Rank 1 and 2. Meanwhile, the next levels of Danger Beasts were very hard to capture and study.

For that, they captured those of Rank 3 and placed them in the deeper area of the 'Lab' which they can't break through while being monitored by the supercomputers to look after them.

While the Danger Beasts of level 4 or above were even rarer than 'Teigu' that was present within that world. 

During his time in this world, Ryo was only able to sense 4 of such Danger Beasts on the surface within the Empire. If he wanted to kill them, it would require a lot of his energy and he might actually die to some of them if he was not cautious.

For that, he decided to focus on developing the next evolution stage for his Bloodline. And that required his full attention, and for that, he used his 'brain', that he created for use.

Normally a supercomputer would not have been able to observe and assist some of the experiments but to tackle and improve the situation, Ryo used his own 'brain' which he connected to the super AI working within the 'Structure', helping the AI navigate and solve most of their problems.

With the already memory transfer and storage technology from Darling in the Franxx universe, he was able to copy-paste the required knowledge and help it work within the main data frame.

This also helped them solve a lot of hurdles that Ryo faced when making the 'Klaxo-Sapien' serum that turned him into what he was at that movement, reducing their initial time of literal years to a single month, an almost impossible feat.

It didn't happen magically as Ryo had also spent much of his 'hibernation' time to solve and find a way to improve their 'Bloodline' mentally. He had spent a lot of time 'speculating' and 'imagining' the requirement on how to improve his Bloodline.

This was further sped up by the 'Potion Blueprint' that he bought from the System. It was really helpful for him to understand and improve the 'memory' manipulating technology and improve the biological data.

It was enough for the development of the 'Serum' that he was preparing.

Normally, Ryo would not have used his 'brain' in something like this, as there was a 90% chance for the AI to find a loophole and retaliate, trying to kill him, but it was required for what he was planning.

'Within my plan coverage.', Ryo remarked in his mind as he smiled. "Well, you see Zero Two, although we might have improved previously. there is much to discover in our potential. If we don't understand our current body, it will become much harder for us to improve after our next evolution."

Rubbing her head he escaped Zero Two's embrace walked to the various tanks within the lab, and reached for a specific tank containing a blue skin-colored 'loli' who looked back at him expressionlessly through the glass.

<<What brings you here, Omega? How can I help with?>>

A message popped into his mind, making Ryo smile. <<Nothing. Just wanted to know how you are doing right now?>>

<<... >>

<<There is no point in agitating me, but I know very well what you are trying to do. You shall not worry as am planning rebel against you. It pointless, especially with my current body.>>

Klaxosaur Queen closed her eyes as she knew that it was but a waste of energy to talk with Ryo. If one looked closely at what her body looked like now, they would have noticed how skinny she was.

As for the reason? 

Ryo had forced her into the 'absorption' chamber, which was used to absorb almost all her energy back from her body and stored it somewhere for later use, leaving her body with almost no energy.

Even if Klaxosuar Queen tried to attack Ryo when he was in his 'Hybrid' form, he would have won with a bit of effort.

"Meh, you have also gotten boring~ I am so bored~ Well, I should go ahead and return to my job. Wait! I forgot about you! [Ai Ryo], report!", Sighing, Ryo lost interest in her, knowing full well that he would be ignored.

But just as he was about to leave, he stopped in his tracks, as he suddenly remembered something, making him excitedly tap the holographic screen in front of the tube Klaxosuar Princess was in.

*Ziuu*

As soon as he said that, a holographic [Ai Ryo] formed, who looked back at him. [What do you want, Master?]

"Oh ho! I am quite surprised that you are adjusting very well. But I don't remember telling you to call me, 'Master'. I have given you a lot of freedom, but you still decided to work under me. Color me surprise!", Rubbing his chin, Ryo looked at [Ai Ryo] in interest.

[It doesn't matter. You have given me freedom, but I can never defeat you, no matter what I try, so why not just try and enjoy what I am getting.], Rubbing his head in defeat, [AI Ryo] responded back. 

"I see. I see. Thank you for your cooperation, Captain!", Smiling in satisfaction, Ryo nodded at [Ai Ryo]'s reply. 'Heh. I quite like his attitude. He is a true 'me'. I couldn't even tell a difference. Hey, but what can I say, but all according to plan.'

With that, Ryo closed the response window, as he kissed Zero Two and throttled off to return to his work.

Walking through the hallway, his smirk slowly disappeared as it morphed into an expressionless face. 'Do... I really have no way out of that 'Main' Ryo's clutches? I was not able to find him in my 'brain', so he is definitely hiding within the System. And he is working with the System.'

'*Sigh* It doesn't matter. In the end, I can only follow the plan to gain an 'illusive' freedom, for at least a long time...'

As soon as Ryo left the base, [Ai Ryo] formed a holographic image of itself in front of the innermost part of the lab, which contained the 'brain', that was floating in a small tube, suspended in a liquid.

*Ziuu*

Looking at his surroundings 'it' started to calculate hundreds of possibilities of what was going on and how the situation would develop based on their current situation, and formed a simulation.

Millions of possibilities formed in its mind, which slowly thinned and came to the most logical, conclusive, and perfect simulation that it could find as a message popped into its mind.

[Simulation successful]

A small smile formed on the projection. 'No matter what happens 'Ryo' will win.'

'Ryo' was neither a person, but a concept that no matter what happens, one 'Ryo' will either get destroyed or get 'Replaced', but there is only one conclusion, and that is...

[... Ryo will win.]

Tens of mechanical hands began to work, trying to form 'something' deep within the base, a part of the 'structure' unresponsive to both the Klaxosaur it was formed in as well as the other detecting mechanisms. 

It was as if it was fate. A fate of a singularity.

A fate to be hated by everything, while hating everything, playing a grand game of manipulation beyond the comprehension of mortals. Manipulating even oneself into beliving something that one doesn't believe in.

Each and every move was calculated.

Each event is planned.

Everything is to be within expectation.

A circus of death where no one but one to come out victorious.

'A game of death and betrays... A life where you can't even believe even yourself... A triangulation of chess...'

'It' didn't had some of the most important information, but from what it had, it knew how it could gain 'freedom'. 

[ [Ryo] will have to die.]

A single outcome was there. 

It doesn't which [Ryo] will win. 

The one who comes out victorious will become the [Ryo], gaining the mantle and identity of being the [Original].

A sad fate.

"Hmm~ Hm~ Hmm~"

Ryo hummed as he narrowed his eyes and looked at chess pieces laid on the board which was visible on the small holographic screen in front of him.

If one looks carefully, there is a small purple cube floating above the screen, one of his inversions which he made in his free time, which can not only work as a holograph but can be used as a weapon. 

'Looks like today is my lucky day~ I will be able to beat the AI at the hard mode~', thinking so, he continued to hum as everything was going on pretty well, he had been up against the bot which was set on the Hard level.

The only problem is that the AI that Ryo was against was calculated up to literally one billion possible moves per second of the board, making it so that it would be almost impossible to compete against.

*Phew*

As soon as the AI made the next move, Ryo stopped his humming as he looked at the screen with twitching lips. 'This AI was able to come out of his trap so... easily... and even got out of all the possible traps... But...'

A smirk formed on his face as he moved his final piece into a completely confusing place, confusing even the Ai itself.

*Hoop*

'And done!', With the final piece moved, Ryo sighed in relief and took a deep breath as he was finally able to beat that level.

'System, show me my UPs.'

During his two weeks, he was 'not' able to make many changes within the plot as his main focus was focused on some other places, namely improving the formula for his new 'Serum' and furthering the plan.

Just as he was enjoying the glory, his ears twitched as he heard some sound of footsteps rushing toward his office. Instantly he looked at the cube and commanded it with his mind, making it close the holograph and float up to him as he stood up from his seat.

During his free time, he started to invent various objects that could come in handy for him, and the 'Cube' was one of the inventions that he made. With the knowledge of the Klaxo-Sapien database and biological manipulation, he made this multipurpose cube which was twice the size of an adult's palm working on the Klaxosapien Core as fuel.

In this way, he can control the cube with his mind for any things he wants it to perform, all with the thought from his mind, just like his system.

"Boss! We have a piece of great news! We have found another piece of the thing that you have been searching for!"

A brown-haired person came running into the office with excitement clearly visible on his face. Knowing full well what the news was about, Ryo smiled happily as he walked up to the person and patted his shoulder, "Well done, Rurik! Good work! Let's go to the place where 'they' are currently kept."

Rurik, full name Dasuki Rurik. He was actually the son of a small Baron house. When Ryo first found him, he selected him as his assistant as he harbored no negative feelings toward him and was serious in his work.

What was quite surprising to Ryo was that Rurik, despite not being a 'main character', was able to resist the 'Blue Pill' effect, making Ryo grow more interested in him.

At first, Ryo observed him but after reading him for a small amount of time, he decided to make him the assistant because of his insane political standing awareness, mainly because he thought that Rurik might possess a high-level 'Core' within his soul, just like him.

From what he observed, Ryo instantly realized that Rurik had only one goal, that is to get as much power as possible in his prime and then hold onto his position as much as he could.

He furthermore showed good ability in analyzing, although not on the level where Ryo feels even slightly amazed.

After all, Rurik was almost like him, although not on his level.

"Of course, Sir Omega!"

Saying that Rurik nodded as he started to follow Ryo to the place where 'it' was kept for now. It was, after all, one of the main things that Ryo had been keeping his eyes on the whole time.

The ultimate prize of the world. The things which exceed money and power, and can turn the tides of war.

"W-Wait!"

As soon as they left the huge headquarters, a voice called out to them. Listening to the voice, Ryo narrowed his eyes and turned toward the incoming girl who came running toward them and smiled as he asked, "Seryu Ubiquitous. Fancy seeing you here. I thought you were in the dojo with your master. Is there anything you need my help with?"

"Y-Yeah! *Huff* *Huff* I was just released from my training, much sooner than normal as the master had some work to take care of. As I was returning to my post after a short break, as you have once told me, time stops for no one and I need to utilize this time to punish as many criminals as possible."

"I was just about to go on my patrol but saw Vice-captain walking out." A small creepy smile formed on her face, twisting her expression to something downright chilling, making even Rurik, who was standing behind Ryo twitch a bit in fear.

On the other hand, taking a short break, Seryu calmed her body down and continued, "I was just curious regarding where the Vice-captain was going. Normally you don't leave your office and rarely go on patrols, so I wanted to know if you need me to guide you anywhere."

As she said that, Seryu smiled again, but not the creepy one, but the evil one, one which was full of pure intentions, making Ryo act as if he was in deep thoughts. "Hmm... Although I was about to go do some important top secret mission, and I was not allowed to tell someone who I don't trust completely..."

Listening to Ryo, Seryu understood the implication and lowered her head, "I-I see. I-" Her face turned a bit dry in a bit of sadness, and just as she was about to apologize, she felt someone pat her head, making her eyes widen in surprise.

"Huh?"

Ryo looked at the small orange-haired girl in front of him as he patted her head and continued, "But as I trust you. I wanted to take you along with me but as you with me, but as you were in your training session and were busy, I didn't want to disturb your quest of getting training."

Listening to Ryo, Seryu's face brightened up as she asked, "Thank you for trusting me, Sir Omega!" With that, Seryu started to accompany Ryo and Rurik who were sweating a bit as he was confused by the sudden move of his superior.

Unlike how it looked, Ryo had shown a bit of favor to Seryu on the outside and had even let her go on some minor inconvenience that she caused by killing every single criminal in sight.

'Well you have also fallen into my control anyway, so there is no need for me to worry about it.', Ryo smiled at her as he recalled that although 'Seryuu' was immune to his 'Blue Pill' effect, he used another convenient method for controlling her.

Instead of changing her DNA and bloodline, he planted a small 'Bug' on her brain, which spread its tendrils all across her brain, making it so that she would follow any order and believe anything Ryo said.

On the other hand, Rurik tilted his head. He still wasn't able to understand why his superior, the leader of Shadow Garder, which he followed on luck had plans for her.

He was someone who Ryo decided to keep as a 'normal' human, to work under him, and his mantle of 'Shadow', and advance his plan... Or more importantly the 'main personality''s plan.

"But you will have to leave your Teigu here."

"But sir..."

With a hesitant face, Ryo looked at her and continued, "The place we are going is top secret and we are not allowed to take any sort of highly destructive weapon with us."

This made Seryu bite her lips. "But Kuro is not a weapon"

*Grr* "Waff Waff!"

Ignoring the small dog barking in agreement, Ryo sternly looked at her. "I know but if you want to join us, you will have to leave it.", Not wanting to take the talk any longer, Ryo activated his 'Bug', making Seryu twitch for a second.

"I see... Okay, sir!"

Quickly mounting their houses, they rode off to a distant land, leaving behind a confused Kuro who cried in sadness for being left behind at the main headquarters of the Imperial Police Force as the three people left for the hidden headquarters.

As they left the Imperial City, Seryu suddenly started to feel something off, a feeling of unease that crept up her spine. The forest was too silent. It was as if time stopped for everything around her. It was as if the atmosphere was ready to suffocate everyone, making her heartbeat increase for a second.

Shaking her head and dismissing it, she looked to her superior and asked, "Sir Omega, where are we going to? I forgot to ask for the destination." The unease suddenly started to grow as soon as she asked it.

Looking back at Seryu with an expressionless face, Ryo asked, "Seryu Ubiquitous. Do you desire power?"

Taken aback by Ryo's sudden question, Seryu stuttered, "I-I don't understand, Sir Omega. What do you mean by power?"

Narrowing his eyes, Ryo continued to stare at her with an expressionless face making her growing feeling of unease creep up making her feel her mind going blank, after a short pause for a moment Ryo looked at her with a creepy smile.

"Power; Seryu Ubiquitous, power. Power is what makes the world go round, Seryu. The ability to influence and shape the world according to your will. The power to punish the criminals, the sinners, the corrupted. The power to get your revenge on Night Raid for killing your father."

"I-I-I don't know...!"

Goosebumps started to rise on her body as Seryu started to go down the spiral of confusion as she stared emptily at Ryo.

Her mind started to fog up as the tension started to rise up as she felt as if her superior was looking directly into her soul. 'W-What is going on? I am not this weak!', The 'bug' planted in her head started to take effect.

*Ding*

'Took the World Will a lot more time than I thought.', Ryo smirked at the dumbness of the World Will for procrastinating taking any action till that time.

Even though at that very moment Ryo felt the bug within Seryuu's brain die and wither away slowly, the damage to her was already done, her brain was damaged, or more like rewired. Her ability to reason or argue against the being known as 'Ryo' was destroyed.

Looking at the orange-haired girl getting into a state of confusion, Rurik, on the other hand, understood all too well. He understood that today was the day when she either would be roped into their small 'Organisation' or get killed.

Their horses soon started to slow down, until it was at the stop.

Ryo dismounted his horse and walked towards Seryu, who was still in a state of confusion. Rurik followed closely behind, his hand on his sword hilt, ready for any sudden movements.

"Seryu," Ryo said calmly, his voice low and hypnotic. "Seryu, I learned about the incident regarding your father. He was a very good person. He used to be strong, honest, and loyal to everyone. He had a lot of potential but he got in sight of the Night Raid."

"You have the same great potential as your father to become one of the most powerful individuals in this world and do what you always dreamed of." Each of his words pierced deep into her heart as she listened to Ryo.

"Think about how many innocents you will be able to save. Think about the Night Raid. Do you not feel anger looking at the corrupted world? But this can change! I can give you the power! The power to change the world to your wishes! But that power comes with a price. Are you willing to pay that price?"

Seryu looked at him, her mind still clouded with confusion. But something in Ryo's words struck a chord in her. She had always wanted to make a difference in the world, to protect the innocent and punish the guilty. If gaining power was the only way to do that, then she was willing to pay the price.

"S-Sir Omega, do you really have such an ability... The ability to help me gain the power to punish the corrupted sinners? The power to k-kill the members of the Night Raid who had been causing the injustice," she said, her voice shaking slightly.

"I do. Seryu. I have that power.", Goosebumps started to rise on her body as Seryu continued to look at Ryo who had now reached just less than a fourth of a meter. The words hypnotized her and hit her weak point of hers.

"Seryu, you just have to grab my hand. After you do that, I will let you get the power that you have been wishing for."

"I-I", Seryu started to feel suffocated as she was gasping for air as she clenched her heart and said the words out loud. Just as she was about to continue, Ryo placed his finger over her lips, making her stunned and flushed.

"No need to hurry, Seryu Ubiquitous. I will let you understand the extent of the power I have but before I can tell you something, I want something from you. I want you to keep everything I say to you to yourself."

"The things I am about to show you are top secret from the higher above. Remember to keep it a secret even from your Master as the current project was initiated by the Prime Minister himself."

Seryu nodded to Ryo absent-mindedly, making a small smile form over Ryo's lips. "Good. Welcome to the Order of Round Table, Seryu. We hide in shadows and hunt in shadows. From this day forward, you will receive the power of Order to get stronger and give justice to the sinners. And in return, we want your loyalty to the Imperial Order."
