3 Code Geass Chapter 3

The songs that i will be playing are 'all of me', 'new thang by redfoo' and 'rolling in the deep'.

There will be no lyrics! It's all instrumental. I got in trouble with this songs before because I don't know how the trumpets only version sounds like. That is why I have to make up for it on my own. Thankfully it was good and I was able to finish these three songs.

I don't know if the people of this time period will be able to appreciate this kind of music though.

It's my turn now.

That was exhausting! I didn't know that it was exhausting to perform in front of so many people even when I only played for a few minutes. It seems the audience liked the songs and my performance, thankfully.

I gotta go to the Boss and say some pleasantries before going home.

- A few days -

I got more money now. The pay for the performance and the tip were given on the next day morning by the Boss after every performance.

I also already told him about my plans on going to london by going with a caravan.

Thankfully I said so, because apparently, the Boss is acquainted with the caravan leader that I am hoping to go with. He referred me to the the caravan leader and also offered to referre me too to his friends in london with a letter for employment as a musician.

I am still getting used to this more formal and stiff way of speaking but thanks to my geass I already got it in my subconscious response. Even the verbal ticks and such were already made into a natural thing for me. It's too awesome.

I still have to pay for my food even if I can hitch hike in the caravan for free and I already did so, completely, for until london.

I still practiced this few days and also performed in the bar. Although I didn't play anything new, I still did a better performance than the previous one everytime.

My body is also getting used to my current daily activities which included some basic exercise such as running and also my trumpet playing.

I thought my geass only let's me do things I know or learn but I observed that it's also good at discovering new things or expounding on what I already know.

That's why, even though I only knew the basics on playing the trumpet I still got better but slower than when I'm only learning the basics. Same as my exercises, I got to optimize it for my current body and also derive the right way of doing those exercises.

I already got some muscles. I thought the body wouldn't be able to change after becoming immortal by accepting the code. But my body got more fit as I do exercise.

I think it's more like I won't age and die but I can still change? It is true that I won't age and die but change can depend on what change and how much change, I think.

My body can still grow stronger or weaker but still limited by my human genes. I still need to do the necessary stuff to maintain a good and fit body, I think? let's just assume so, it's not a bad thing to exercise anyway.

The caravan leader said that we will do some stop overs in town that we will be passing by so it will take more than a month to arrive to london.

I asked if there were any dangers on the road and he said that there were really rare bandits cause guns are a thing now. But those rare bandits are very dangerous because they would have guns too.

That's why I thought I should buy a gun too and practice shooting. Thankfully they have some spares cause there's no gun store in the town only bullets and gun powder can be bought. The guns were flintlocks it looks cool but quite hefty and hustle to use. Modern bullets are not a thing yet.

I started reading books too. But there's not much educational book in my reach now, most are only for recreational, like novels. I really did get to memorize everything.

Maybe I should try writing a novel too. Nah, I should just learn every knowledge there is and experience everything too, I have a long time ahead anyway.

Oh right. My geass is always on now. Though the geass mark aren't showing now too. I can still turn it off but the off option became the active ability instead of the on. I have to will it to off and it will automatically become on after some time.

And I discovered that my geass doesn't really repress my emotions. It just separate my emotions from my body reactions while also making me be able to think rationally no matter what. It means, panic is not in my dictionary anymore. No matter what situation and no matter what I feel, I will always be rational.

Although I will always look calm but I won't be inside. Even if I can think rationally, it doesn't mean I am calm.

I am about to finish packing my stuff in my baggage. I have very little things I own so my baggage is small. The only expensive item I have is my trumpet which was the most ordinary when I bought it and it was put in a separate luggage.

The caravan is setting off tomorrow in the wee hours of the morning. I bought a few more clothing some formal english gentleman style and some casual british common people style. Also don't forget the cane. British men always have a walking cane in this time period.

I bought the ones that has a blade/sword inside, Although I don't know how to properly use it yet but I plan to learn how later anyway.

Alright! I got to sleep now cause I still need to wake up early tomorrow.
