1 Episode 1 - I Don’t

Lexie: It was the year 2017. Me and my best friend Tanya are having the best time of our lives. She recently got married to her boyfriend of 10 years, Tim, and here I am, also soon to be wed to my gorgeous surgeon boyfriend, Daniel.

Ever since we were kids, Tanya and I have been inseparable. We live next door to each other, went to school together, and when my mother died when we were 9, she was there to comfort me. Oh, heck! She was also there raging with me when my dad married that social climbing, gold digging bitch Mary-Anne, last year!

Oh, oops! Sorry for that rant. Anyway, Tanya and I have been planning on our weddings since we were kids, and I am so glad that finally, we will both soon have our fairy tale happy endings.

Our kids will grow up together and be best friends or you know if we have a daughter and a son, they might fall in love and get married and we and our husbands will just be one big happy family together, forever.

Everything is going to be perfect...or so I thought.

My life started to go downhill on the day of my wedding. I know it's bad luck to see each other before the ceremony but I have this really silly urge to surprise Daniel, with a little sexy time before our wedding.

I slowly opened the door to his hotel room and saw him there. Sleeping contently. Sleeping like a baby. My god! Isn't he gorgeous? Just look at those eyelashes, and nose, and luscious lips! I'm so lucky to have snagged this Greek god-like Adonis. And in just a few short minutes, I'm going to be his missus.

But wait. What's that thing moving next to him under the sheets. What the fuck. I can't do this. My heart is beating so fast. Please, please. Oh, God please! Don't let that be another woman. Cause I swear to God I cannot...

Is that motherfucking Olivia??? The sister of my fucking stepmother? What the heck? What is she doing here? Next to Daniel. MY Daniel.

Daniel started to stir. His eyes darted towards me. There's relief in his eyes but it quickly turned into confusion, and then panic. That's it you panic you motherfucking cheating bastard!

Daniel stood up really quickly and start grabbing the sheets. By this time, I guess Olivia have fully woken up because at the corner of my eyes I saw her saying something. But I really can't hear what she's saying. I feel so numb and lightheaded. Everything is just a blur to me. I can hear my heart pounding in my ears.

I felt Daniel's hand touch mine and snap! I felt like I was suddenly pulled back into reality. There's stabbing pain in my heart. Tears started to fall on my cheeks. And I can't breathe. Maybe that's why I was lightheaded.

I suddenly can hear what they were saying. It's something along the lines of it means nothing and it was a one-time thing. We were drunk. I didn't know it was him. I thought she was you.

But I just stood there. Crying. I can't even open my mouth to say a single world. I can't even make any sound.

And then my dad, stepmom, Tanya, and Tim all came rushing in. They must've heard the commotion.

The next things happened so fast. I think I saw Mary-Anne slap her sister. Oh, wow! That was unexpected. I thought she was going to congratulate her for ruining my life even more. And then I saw my dad punched Daniel on the face. Tim trying to break the fight. And then I finally spoke.

Daniel, it's over. We're done.
