A New Chance

Opening my eyes and seeing a being made entirely of light, I spoke up.

"Hello, are you God" I asked, not because he was made totally of light, but because before I got here I was dying.

"Yes my son, I am God".

"So what will happen now? I am going to hell" I was not the best of people and had a great chance of going to hell, but like any sane person I didn't want to go.

"No, you are not going to heaven or hell" he said.

"Actually you have been chosen, out of trillions of souls to be reincarnated in another world".

"Ok"I replied, I had nothing to lose, I was already dead, and probably destined for hell.

God looks at me and says "Well, I thought it would be harder".

He then snaps his fingers, and a wheel appears in front of me.

"What kind of world will I be sent to?" I asked.

"You will go into some world of so called TV shows."

He then explained, "First you will spin this wheel to decide which world you go to, and if it is a world where there are super powers, then you will spin the wheel again for your super power."

"But if it is a normal world, it will be decided whether or not you will have some ability that is humanly possible to obtain" He finished talking and signaled for me to come over and spin the roulette wheel.

I then spun the roulette wheel, and a few minutes later it finally stopped.

I looked anxiously at which world I was going to go to, and saw.

Cobra Kai.

I sighed of relief, luckily I had watched the whole series, not to mention the Karate Kid movies.

I then looked up at God, waiting for him to say something.

I don't know how but I know he gave me a smile and said "You're lucky, even though it's a normal world you got the chance to have a power, you can spin the roulette wheel."

I spun the roulette wheel with happiness stamped on my face.

I waited anxiously for my skill, no matter what skill just the fact that I had a skill made me happy.

Before the wheel stopped, God said "You are really very lucky".

And then the roulette wheel stopped at the skill {Battle Instinct(Advanced)}.

"Here's your skill, congratulations." With his words, I felt my mind filling up with information about this skill.

This skill was from someone named Sasaki Kojiro(Shuumatsu no Valkyrie), normally it would allow me to mentally battle with people that I've faced, and with experience I could even mentally battle someone without having faced them before..

But since it was advanced, it became much stronger, before I would need to fight someone or have a base to be able to replicate their power, but now with just a glance I can see all the possibilities of what my opponent could do, in microseconds.

"Wow" Was the only thing I could speak upon seeing that.

I knew how to activate this ability, it was like I had it since I was born, I decided to activate it to test.

Honestly, it was the worst decision of my life.

My whole "body" started shaking, and sweat dripped down my face.

Fear, all I could feel was fear, even with that fear my instinct didn't tell me to run away, not because the "thing" that was causing this was harmless to me, but because it was useless to try to escape.

"It seems that this ability can also sense the level of danger" I said to the being that was causing me so much fear.

As soon as my eyes fell on this figure.

In my vision there was no longer a golden figure, but a gigantic monster, the worst part was that he wasn't looking at me, as if I didn't deserve to be in his gaze.

My eyes started to lose their color and become blurry, and I forcibly deactivated this ability.

When that figure disappeared, I let out the breath I hadn't even noticed I was holding, and began to breathe heavily.

Just feeling that pressure made me feel like I was dying.

Finally I recovered, and God said like he didn't realize what happened.

"Well, now you have one more ''choice'', you can choose to continue with your original appearance or spin the roulette wheel to choose."

My original appearance? What was it? Then I realized that I didn't remember anything about myself.

So I wasn't sure, so I asked "If an appearance drops and I don't like it, will I have to keep it".

"No, just like your power if you want you can drop it and be powerless" He replied.

I see, so I can abandon my ability, not that I was going to do that.

So I had nothing to lose.

"Alright, I'll spin around to choose my appearance" I said.

"Okay, just one more thing, there's a chance that the appearance comes with some disadvantage" He said.

I nodded, and went to spin the wheel that had just changed shape, but as soon as I reached the front of the wheel.

I felt a pain in my heart and then a voice in my head that I was sure was my own screamed "NO!!!".

I felt my brain hurt.

God, sensing something strange with me, did something that I couldn't see, and then my head went back to normal.

Not caring about that God asked "So you have decided" It wasn't really a question, I felt that he already knew my answer.

"I choose to continue with my original appearance" I answer.

With that decided, the roulette wheel disappeared and in its place appeared a screen, with a naked male figure on it.

As soon as I laid my eyes on the figure on the screen, I felt in the depths of my soul that that figure is me.

I shook my head to get rid of these thoughts, trying to remember about myself gave me a headache.

Then I watched the figure on the screen, he or rather me, had long blonde hair and a very pretty face, not wanting to brag but it was a 10.

The body was well built built full of muscles, and the eyes were closed, I noticed that I had a few scars on my arms, and one on my chin like Ban.

In addition to having a 13 cm flaccid penis.

"Can I see my eyes?"

"I was waiting for you to ask, because of your ability you will need to change eyes, here is the list"

I then looked at the list that appeared on mine, I didn't look at the eyes but at a small eight digit number: 67,539,197.

I know it wasn't much, but it was in the millions, it would take me many days to go through, all of them, and I don't have a very good memory, so by the time I was done I would have forgotten almost all of them.

"So..." I looked at that being nervously, as I was about to continue.

"You want my help to choose, right?" God asked, I just nodded.

"Come here" He said and gestured for me to come closer.

I did as he commanded without any hesitation, after all I knew that with just a microscopic thought I would be completely destroyed.

Standing in front of him, he then extended his finger in my direction, if it had been before it would have been something normal, but now that "simple" finger carried a great deal of pressure.

But still I stood still, I didn't want to risk irritating that being, even though I knew it was impossible for me to irritate that being.

As soon as his finger touched my head, it was only for a second, but I knew he had read all my memories, to find the eyes I would like the most.

Then unconsciously I looked at my avatar, and saw him opening his eyes, black eyes with a golden flower pattern.

When I saw that pattern I already knew whose it was, Buddha from the anime Shuumatsu no Valkyrie.

Then it occurred to me, where did I know Sasaki Kojiro from, before after some thought, I remembered that he was a historical figure, and I thought it was from history that I knew him.

But now I remembered that he is also in the anime Shuumatsu no Valkyrie, he was the first person who was able to defeat a God.

That's all I remembered of him, besides his ability, I didn't watch the anime, I just met Buddha, because of a YouTube video about him.

An explanation of his ability Illumination: he basically can see the future, but actually the ability allows him to see the soul energy of a person, after someone makes a decision he knows what that decision is.

I remember it showed him capturing a rabbit, he activates Illumination and sees what the rabbit's next action is, he then captures the rabbit easily.

I shook my head with a smile 'This is definitely the right choice.'

If you think about it, you could say that my ability is a fusion of his and Sasaki's ability.

But mine is much weaker than Buddha's ability, Buddha's ability is like an absolute Observation Haki.

And all I do is see what someone can do, and there are so many variables, so I can just deduce what someone is going to do.

If he hides it well enough I can't know anything, but that's basically impossible for a human.

Only a divine being like that can do that.

"!!!!!!!"

When I thought about this, I started to break into a really cold sweat, was God still hiding his power?

When I thought about it, for me to see his power I only had two options, the first: He left it just to scare me, the second: His power is so great that he can't hide it completely, and it's quite possible that I only saw 1% of his power.

I discarded the first one immediately, there is no reason for him to scare me.

So the only option left to me was that he can't hide all his power, imagine being so strong that you can't hide all your power.

Snapping me out of my thoughts, God said "Well, now that everything is complete you are ready to go to the Cobra Kai World?"

"Fine" I replied.

"Just one more thing" God spoke and paused dramatically "As I said before, you could have a disadvantage, and since the only thing that is not yours is your eyes, then your disadvantage is a Buddha addiction".

He paused again dramatically and I started thinking about the Buddha's addictions, but I couldn't think of anything other than his appearance and his power, after all I haven't watched the anime or read the manga, so it made me very very nervous, but I don't know how even though I have many waves in my mood, my exterior is still calm, even my heart is beating normally.

Then God finally says "Congratulations! You have received the candy addiction".

Candy? Haha.

I couldn't help but jump happily and laugh in my subconscious, and my exterior calm as ever, as if I didn't care.

"Now, goodbye" He spoke, like someone polite I replied "Goodbye".

I then started to fade away thinking 'At least he didn't say see you later'.

I couldn't see any further that thought made God smile.

But then I shook my head, coming out of those thoughts.

I am about to go to a new world.

I have been given a new life.

A New Chance.
