Chapter 2: Reason

A month has passed since the Algidia Family has adopted me, and i also found out that there's only supposed to be 5 members in the main family branch, and the reason they went to the orphanage was because for sister to be reassigned in the main branch whilst i'll be her apprentice until i can replace her, but things didn't go according to plan so they were forced to take me in, and now i'm the 5th member of the main branch while there are over a hundred people in the other branch of the algidia, the main branch is the only one who meddles with politics and the ones used as secret weapons for wars

While i was deep in thought inside the library while gazing out the window i noticed someone glaring at me from behind "Hoy! You stupid commoner... tch... i dont even know why i need to bring this thing to you, but take this" he gave me a letter with a Golden colored seal to it "just in case you cant read because you're so stupid! It's the invitation for the Magical institute outside our kingdom"

I nodded at him "i'll look into it next time"

his face got annoyed and looked away from me "just so you know! I still don't welcome you t-" i cut him off his statement "i'm not begging for your recognition Cloud... now if you think i can't read why don't you give magical theory a try next time let's see how far you can go"

He got furious "why you lit-" i high kicked him on the face sending him flying out the library "Gonna cry?" I said in a sarcastic tone "Tch..." he wipes dust off his shirt and began walking away, i sighed *did i go too far this time... he's just being, dense.* i thought while i was thinking i felt someone hugged me from behind "Young master Leon, please don't be so reckless next time, cloud is just having a hard time expressing his feelings" now i felt guilty when i heard Agatha's Words

"H-he star-" she places her finger on my mouth to shut me up "Hush now Young master... you too is also at fault may i remind you" she glared at me "i-i'm sorry..." she smiled "now tell that to Young master Cloud when you meet him again"

Agatha gave me a handkerchief but before she left she told me "Your tutor has already arrive young master just to let you know"

She gave me a smile before she left, while i was walking i saw cloud sitting on top of the roof through the window i was gazing at, i somehow felt embarrassed for doing that to him. I need to apologize. I know i need to, but i can't move my body nor have the guts to tell him that, i sighed "what a bother..." then i heard a Guy's voice who seems to be in his twenties "what is?" I turned around and it was my tutor "n-nothing" i stuttered

He peered at the Window to where i was looking then he saw Cloud sitting on top of the roof "something happened to cloud?" He Did some weird hand gestures then the Windows got split into two, he grabbed my hand and then he hopped from the nearest porch then jumped incredibly high landing to where cloud is sitting "W-WHOAAA!" I screamed from shock

He perfectly landed beside cloud, "What are you two bozos doing here? Are you gonna high kick me too?"

Aiden laughed "Ha! You brat! You can't take my high kick head on, anyways Leon something to tell you"

I panicked "I have?" He glared at me... "Cloud..." he's also glaring at me, what the heck's they're problem "I just wanna say sorry for humiliating you this morning... that was so unlike me, i hope you can forgive me..." he stood up pissed off "Oh i'll forgive alright! When you let me kick your ass off this roof!"

Aiden Then clapped "Go ahead then Cloud!" He was supporting this?! I tried to reason with him "wait a second! I didn't do you that bad!" He snorted "pfft! Like that matter you idiotic commoner!" He rushed towards me and did a round house kick i jumped instinctively, he fell on the bushes "You stupid commoner!!! WHY DID YOU DODGED?!" I answered "you're gonna kick me!" He spat on the ground "Well yeah?! Look at what you did to me!"

Aiden sitting at the edge of the roof "Leon... make sure you Apologized before you enter the training hall later... and bring Cloud with you too later" he vanishes as he finished telling me what to do "But... he hates me tho" i sighed, i jumped off of the roof and ran towards where Cloud headed "Cloud!!!" I screamed while running to where he went "Cloud!!!" I turned on a block and accidentally bumped on Samantha accidentally, we both fell to the grass but i got up quickly to help her "I-I'm sorry!" I bowed in apology, she stood up and smiled at me "Don't think too much of it Leon" her eyes began tearing again "S-Samantha!" I said in a shocked expression "O-oh no it's happening again... i-i'm sorry Leon but i must go to my quarters now please excuse me"

I was curious what was wrong with Samantha's eyes but she said it wasn't anything serious and Algus isn't telling me any more details about it... i felt trapped in this place sometimes by barely knowing them at all while i was running an earthquake has shook the ground and almost making the Structure of the mansion collapse if it weren't for magical Protections and enhancements. "What was that?!" I told myself, i've been running around for a while and saw Cloud sitting at the edge of the cliff behind the mansion.

"cloud!!!" I shouted at him, he turned his head towards me pissed off obviously "What do you want?!"

Before i even reached him the Earthquake's after shock has hit and the place where we're standing has collapsed "AHH! NO!" Both of us exclaimed but before we fell into the darkness of the abyss i saw Aiden Tried to save us but he was a moment too late
