29 Chapter 29 : Challenge

Guard : Miss Jane , we should kill him .

Jane : G , I don't want to make an enemy. I want to befriend him .

G : No , I would kill him and steal the method from his body .

Jane : But...

G : He's weak . I can fight with ten evolvers like him.

Jane : You sure about this? If you lose I'll be the blamed one if something bad happens .

G : Of course .I'll fight him for the general .

Jane : I'll speak with him then ,but don't hope for any help from me in the future.

<Alex POV >

Alex : What ?

Jane : My bodyguard want's to challenge you to a fight . My guard G will fight you .

Alex : What's for me ?

Jane : You will get Grade two core if you win . If you lose ,I would have the method .

Alex : Are you sure ? A Grade Two core is something rare .

Jane : Yes .

Alex : Your wish.

Walking out of the house, Alex found G in the middle of a training ground .

Without waiting for any words , G rushed at Alex .

Using the energy , G moved the energy to his feet and in the next moment he was forty meters in air.In the air he used some sort of energy laser to attack. When his attack touched the ground were Alex was standing, Alex was sent flying while the ground was transformed into a crater .In the next moment G sent an energy blade towards Alex. Alex was still flying and when the energy blade hit him, Alex was injured right in the chest . If he was weaker ,he would have died .

G : I won .

G was about to dodge but suddenly he felt something coming towards him and he looked to his right.He was greeted by a punch thrown towards him.G reacted immediately He looked at the one who was responsible for that throw and his eyes widened.

G : You...You...

Alex : Just wait for your death.

Alex's body looked incredibly tough, like a diamond , his body reflected the sun light and its eyes emitted a red light staring right back at him.Alex waved his hands and a energy blast was thrown at the mid-air G .

G was shocked at the attack but he knew that it was just a weak enemy so he threw a punch on the air.

Seeing the punch , Alex just slightly dodge to the left.

G was shocked by Alex's movement .He was thinking how can a human achieve that .

Alex raised his arm and fired a concussive energy blast from his hand. The severity was enough to inflict mortal wounds on G as Alex was planning on killing him.

Unable to defend ,G was killed by Alex .

Watching the fight, Jane was overjoyed when Alex was sent flying and when he receive the attacks from G , but when Alex start becoming hostile , she lost all of her color on her face.Right now she was pale .Why ? A Grade Two Core was something rare . Even her father would need to bribe some powerful evolver if he want one.

Looking at Jane face, Alex realized that he would have to go to the military base if he want the core .

Alex : So Jane, where's my core ?

Jane : Sir, I ... I don't have it on me .

Alex : Are you lying ?

When he said that , Alex released his aura.Feeling the pressure from Alex ,all of Jane guards become pale while Jane start trembling .If someone ask her how the death looks like , she would say : Like this man .

Jane : Sir... Can ... you follow us ?

Alex : Lead the way .

For the next three days ,Alex didn't spoke once with Jane, while Jane was sure that this is the dumbest

thing she had done in her entire life .

Arriving at the military base, Alex was about to be checked but the guards were stopped by Jane, then she explained the situation to the Guard Commander .After this Alex followed Jane to her father office . Walking in the base Alex was watched by all of the soldiers . Some were evolvers while some here just soldiers .Many cars and military vehicles can be seen here, from tanks to APC and trucks,but these vehicles were guarded like a national treasure .

Inside the office was a middle age man and five evolvers .

Miller : You are Alex?

Alex : Yes and you are ?

Evolver 1 : Insolent ! How can you speak like this to the general !

Alex : First , I don't live in this country ,I'm from somewhere far away from here.Second , I will speak like this , if you don't like, then fuck of .

Evolver 4 : Kid, are you sure ?

Alex : I'm one hundred percent sure .

Evolver 1 : Die !

When the evolver rushed at Alex, Jane sighed. With a single punch , Alex killed the evolver .All of the people inside the room were shocked, Jane inclusive .

Alex : Sorry for the mess. So were is my core ?

Jane : Father , G challenged Alex and he lost . The bet was like this : If Alex win we will give him a Grade Two core while if we win he would give us the method to create evolvers.

Miller : You know that you just killed one of my elites ?

Alex : Miller, you should be a smart one. Your unit was destroyed by me.

Miller : I don't know what do you mean .

Alex : The unit you sent to capture one of my men.

Miller : Kid , you should know that some things are better when they are buried .

Alex : Miller , I hate the liars. If you lie one more time , I will demolish this base .

Miller : Get out . If I see you around the base I will personally kill you.

Alex : Your wish .

After he said that ,Alex released his aura and with two punches he killed all of Miller's guards .

Jane was pale while Miller start sweating."How the fuck , I enraged this monster. "

Miller : Sir, we can negotiate . I will give you a grade two core .

Alex : Give it.

After he get the core, Alex used the energy to destroy the office and then he start flying .

Alex : I will come back .
