28 Chapter 28 : Jiro

< Miller POV >

Miller :So , what did you saw ?

Soldier : Sir, one of the mutants from that village / base has leaved the base . Currently ,team 8 is tailing him . We can capture him , if you want .

Miller : Hmm , you know what ? Capture him .

Soldier : Sir .

Miller : Now , I need to wait for Jane to arrive there.

< Jiro POV >

After I got Alex's permission , I decided to leave the base for some time .My first destination is the old botanical park . There should be some beastman .

Walking for two days was a strange thing , because I felt watched , but every time I look around ,I didn't found anything . But things start changing in the fourth day .

When I was eating , I found one human trying to find something or someone . Picking my sniper rifle , I sneaked to one window in the attic or what it's left .

After I got there , I deployed my sniper rifle and I was ready to kill, if necessary .

Looking at that human , I can see that he speak with someone on that radio phone .When I become an evolver or a warrior , my senses were upgraded to a new whole level . If I try to focus on a target I can hear him / her from two km .Focusing on that human , I heard something strange :

Soldier : Did you find it ?

Soldier : What ? Where ? Hmm , let's do it like this : I will go and try luring him outside and then you will shot it .We need that beastman (Mutant) if we want to control that new base.

Hearing what the soldier has said , Jiro was shocked by this thing . They want to capture him ,because they need something to control Alex with one of his men .

Jiro : Fuck . How can I contact Alex from here ?

Thinking about a method to contact , Jiro remembered the small orb . He gained this orb from Alex before he leaved the base.

Jiro : Should I crush it ? I don't have any idea so I should do it .

Saying this thing , Jiro crushed the orb and suddenly he heard something in his head.

Alex : Hey, what's up ?

Jiro : Sir , I have something to report .

Alex : Jiro , calm down . What's happening ?

Jiro : Sir, I'm hunted by some men from a big base / power . I heard one of them saying that they need to find me if they want to control you .

Alex : Can you return home ?

Jiro : No idea , but I don't want to try right now. I can fell the enemy , but I don't know were they are .I want to capture one of them and find something about this thing .

Alex : Jiro , don't do it . I will come to your location right now . Stay safe .

Hearing Alex voice , Jiro start crying silently . This should be the first time in his life when someone is truly worried about him .

Jiro : I would wait for you .

<Alex POV>

Alex : Ace , Ra on me .

Ace,Ra : Master .

Alex : I want you to follow me to rescue Jiro .Be ready for combat and try to leave some enemy alive , we need to interrogate them .

Storing Ace and Ra in his inventory , Alex left the base in a hurry .

After one hour he traveled the distance Jiro did in four days.

Looking around , Alex found fifty men and the strange thing was the fact that all of them were evolvers .

Alex(Mind ) : So they are a special unit .

[Quest : Find the culprit

Description : Someone want to control you. Find who is the culprit .

Reward : Stats sub - system upgrade ]

Alex : What the hell? What's the upgrade ?

[Well STR,INT,WIS,DEX,CHA will disappear from your stat screen . You will only see the Rank and that should do it . With STR , INT , CHA, WIS,DEX you will be OP , but now you will only have a little cheat and nothing more . Good luck ]

After he got the quest , Alex summoned Ace and Ra and together they start picking up the enemy , in just five minutes they captured all of the enemy evolvers .

Seeing that the enemy was captured , Jiro walked to Alex .

Jiro : Sir, Thank You .

Alex : Jiro , you are my friend so it's normal for me to come and help you .Some can say that I'm emotionless , but this can be seen only by the people that doesn't know me .Now how can I open their mouth .

One hour later they found that General Miller want to know the method which can create evolvers .

Soldier : Master , he's in the military base , but he's very protected .As a leader he's will do anything to save his life.We will return home .

After another trip of four days , Alex and his group (Ace, Ra , Jiro and the fifty soldiers) arrived at the base . When they entered the main entrance , Alex's was contacted by Zero.

Zero : Master , we have some guests .They are in the main room.

Alex : Ok ,good job.

As he entered the room , Alex was welcomed by the sight of five people standing at a table . Three women and two man .

When the group heard the door opening , they stood up an greet Alex .

Jane : Sir ,My name is Jane Miller.

Alex : Alex , so you are general Miller daughter .

Jane was shocked by Alex replay ,but this shouldn't be strange, because her father was known before the apocalypse .

Jane : Yes,sir . General Miller is my father . I come here to speak with you .

Alex : Sorry! I don't want to any business with your base . And you should know that your men are already dead . Your father should know what I mean .

Jane : Sir, what ...

Alex : I don't like when someone try to harm my friends or family . If incident will repeat , I will kill every one in your base. Now ,get out .

Jane and her escort were shocked by Alex words,but they quickly leaved the base.
