17 Chapter 17 : Ruin (2)

<One week later , Starfall Village >

Samir : Mister Marcus, how are you ?

Marcus : Hello,I am fine, I just broke through Rank Three.

Samir : Yeah,with Alex's help you just gain some power and I am ready to broke the Rank Five barrier . These Blood Flowers are godly items .

Marcus : Giving two flowers , one for me and one for you, Alex is kind , but I hope this will pay off.

Samir : Sir,Alex is to strong .He fought a Dark Knight and win the fight .

Marcus : I know that.By the way Samir, when will you marry ?

Marcus : Will you remain as a Lion son or will you gain our family name ?

Samir : I don't know yet, but I prefer to be one of Jaeger sons.

Marcus : Good,let's go and train with Axel and Black.

Samir : Sir, do you want to be beaten by Axel?

Marcus : Well he is a Rank Five and Black is a rank four , but I will train and one day I will stand up.

<Alex POV >

Alex : Rag how many were destroyed ?

Rag (Mechanical Engineer -First ) :Master, today our losses are five rank three and one rank four .In total we had lost twenty solders .Our current army has one hundred soldiers , ten engineers and ten spider soldiers .

Alex: Give me the soldiers details .

Rag : Eighty are Rank Three , nineteen are Rank Four and one is Rank Five . For the Spider Soldiers , all of them are Rank Four beasts.

Alex : Good . So how many floors are left ?

Rag : Sir , I don't know . We are currently trying to kill the Rank Five Snake on the seventh floor.

Alex : I will go there and fight alongside our soldiers .

Rag : May I say something ?

Alex : Sure .

Rag : I want to say that this will be very dangerous for you sir .We can be repaired or built again , but you will die and that's it.

Alex : Rag , I will be okay . I am a Rank Five and One is with right ?

Rag : Sir , I don't know how strong a Rank Five Beast is , but I hope you two will be able to kill it and then my team would like to study it .

Alex : I wonder what my family is doing right now.I miss them so much , but I need power if I want to protect them .

<Ruin, Seventh Floor >

Soldier : Sir ! Captain One is waiting for you .

Alex : Thank you for you work .

Inside the tent (Yeah they build a tent inside a ruin ).

One is the first Mechanical Warrior that has reach the Fifth Rank and one of the best soldiers of Alex current army .

One : Master how do we take it down ?

Alex : I think of one strategy , but this will involve more soldiers . The two of us will fight head on with the snake while ten soldiers will use crossbows to kill the beast .

One :I presume they will need protection in case the snake want to eat something else ?

Alex : Correct .Let's kill that spider and be careful .

After they were ready . Alex and One were the ones that will attack the beast first then they will be supported by the ten soldiers with crossbows .

This time, Alex could clearly see what was on this floor. It was a Green Serpent, a Rank Five Beast. This Green Serpent span a length of 8 meters, and could easily wrap itself around Alex and One.

The Green Serpent swam back towards the left wall and lunged at One. Fortunately, The soldiers were prepared and when they had seen the serpent trying to attack, they fired bolts at the serpent ,hitting the large body of the serpent. The serpent quickly shook off the damage it received from the bolts before facing Alex .

Alex : One be ready .

The Green Serpent took another lunge towards Alex, hoping to push him to the ground before killing him. If the beast catches Alex in binds, Alex would never be able to break free , without help from his soldiers.

This was a Rank Five Beast. It was easily the toughest enemy that Alex had to face up to this point in his life.

While the Serpent was trying to kill Alex, One was already behind the Serpent and in the next moment his sword was in the back of Serpent head. You need to know that for every reptile the back of their head is one major weakness in this world , because there is situated their life core and by attacking this specific spot , you can kill a beast in just one shot , only if the beast isn't alerted or prepared , which is a very rare case .

When One's sword hits the Serpent life core, the snake start going berserk .

As One fell from the serpent back, the serpent launched a desperate head-long attack towards Alex. Alex wounds had yet to recover and still lay on the ground nursing its injuries.He was injured when he tried to distract the serpent from noticing One.

Before the serpent can reach Alex , the ten soldiers fired bolts after bolts in the serpent , some of the bolts were explosive , while another type were sound base bolts(Makes a pitch sound when fired,distracts , very annoying )

Just in the last moment the serpent's head blew to shreds while a huge sense of peace surrounded Alex.

One : Master, We kill it .

Alex : One , I think I can broke through the Six Rank right now .

One : Master, can I absorb the core ?

Alex : Do it .

After five hours One become a Rank Six Warrior and after another six hours Alex become one . Now Alex has One Rank Six,Eighty Rank Three , Nineteen Rank Four(Warriors),Ten Rank Four Beast.
