15 Chapter 15 : Death knight
Alex fell to the ground, his expression complicated as he stared at the numerous pile of corpses around him. Staring at his sword. Alex knew that he had taken at least a dozen lives. But strangely. He didn't feel guilty about taking the lives of those bandits. Instead, he felt that his actions were justified.
Perimus :Are you alright?
Alex : Yeah , just confused .
Perimus : Why ?
Alex : Well , this is my first time .
Perimus : First human kill?
Alex : Yeah.
Perimus : Man, you are something .You know , our kingdom need soldiers for this war .One empire was destroyed by that necromancer and his undead army will grow stronger by each second.
Alex ! I want to say THANK YOU ! For helping my village .
Alex : No problem , if I can do something I will do it . I want to help .First I wanted to be a general , but now ... I want to be free . I want to help people because I want , not because this thing will get some merits after this war .
After this short conversation Alex's group (Alex and his four robots) were ready to return to the army .
Perimus : Alex , I want to work for you .
Alex : For me ?Why ?
Perimus : I need to gain money for my family (village).
Alex : I would like to have you as my companion , but I don't have money .I had barely enough for me .
Hearing that Alex can't help him ,Perimus was ready to leave .
Alex : Wait ! Perimus ... Help your people finding some place to settle and I will come to find you .
[Perimus was Marked . Now you can see him on the map ]

Alex : Sir ! I want to retire from the army with my companions .
Bernard : So... You want to leave . I will agree with your retirement , but you need to do one last mission for me .
Alex: Sir?
Bernard : I want you to lead an elite platoon and destroy the enemy dark knight (High Rank Undead)
Alex : I got it Sir !
Bernard : I hope you will gain some breathing space for our army , now go .
<Alex's POV >
Before they went out, Alex stepped in front of them. He was the Captain of this platoon. They were all young, ranging from 18 years old to 25 years old,but all of them were elites. Alex looked into every single one's eyes before uttering a line. "Keep yourselves alive."
Alex went ahead, followed by the group, and started to meet their adversary.
They rode their horses, and when they were near the enemy, Alex started to swing his sword. He gripped the Sword with his right hand and slash to an Undead's chest. The strike was so hard that the undead was sent flying and hit another undead.
That undead was immediately trampled by Alex's platoon (Their horses) and was smashed to a pulp. Alex had no time to think about what happened as he slashes the sword again. It hit four Undead and it threw them off their horses. They survived the hit, but the elite forces of the Soaring Dragon Regiment was already upon them.
Their heads were flying as they were beheaded by Alex's elite force. By this time, everyone was in a bloodthirsty state, even Alex, however Alex suppressed himself and acted calmly. He was here to fight, but most importantly, protect the Kingdom's soldiers and his family.
The fighting was even crueler than before.

The leader of the Undead saw Alex and went towards him. This Dark Knight stood in front of Alex. The Dark Knight was tall and he was literally half a man ( Like it was sliced in half and then put together ) , but he was powerful .
This Undead was the most powerful enemy Alex has ever faced. He himself only had a power level of Peak Rank Four Warrior. Alex knew this was going to be a bit of a hard fight, but he wasn't scared.
Preparing his sword, Alex start slicing at the Dark Knight . Seeing the human, The Dark Knight was ready to kill this puny human, but he was slower that Alex due to his undead nature.
After fighting for some time , both of them were in a sorry state , Alex was wounded and his left hand was KO meanwhile The Dark Knight chest was missing some parts (Like half of it ) .
Alex knew that prolonging this fight was just going to be harder for the enemy. So he showed his new skill : Energy Blast .
[Energy Blast : Use energy to form a blast . Can damage enemy on a rank higher than the user . Cost :50 Energy ]

Bernard : Alex Jaeger , Samir Lion and Angela from today you will be heroes alongside your platoon , but you three will retire from the army . Alex you are promoted to the Lieutenant and you gain one thousand gold and five Blood Flowers .
