14 Chapter 14 : Bandits

Alex : We have some troubles coming our way .

??? : Not good .Do you have anorrrther sssworrrd ?

Alex : Yes .

??? : Don't die to earrrly .

Alex : That goes for you .

When Alex and the Argonian had arrived near the bandits camp they were shocked .

Remnants of Argonian's bodies scattered could be seen, piling into a mountain. The mountain of corpses composed of both men and women, along with the old and children. The bandits inside the camp endlessly pillaged everything which they find as valuable.

??? : My village ,I ...was...late...again.

Alex felt a swelling feeling inside his abdomen as he quickly covered his mouth. Although he killed undead before. It was a do or die fight and the enemy was dead or was a monster not a human, completely different from this scene before his eyes.

??? : Kid, are you ok ?

The Argonian asked beside him, concern evident on his face. Handing over a gourd of water, Alex took the bottle from his hands and chugged it down, dissipating the feeling of unrest within his heart.

Alex (Mind) :Yeah, that's right...

I should remember one thing...

I'm not in Earth anymore and this world is clearly more deadly and unforgiving towards the weak...

Just like my father...

If I want to survive...

There's only one way...

And that is to become ruthless towards anyone that would endangered my family ...

Clenching his fists together, Alex stared at the bandits camp. With his eyes, shining in a light of resolve and killing intent.

Inside the bandit camp , numerous figures wearing thick infantry armors could be seen surrounding a bonfire, all of them held a glass of liquor in their hands as they shouted in cheers.

Bandit : We did it boys .

Bandit : Yeah ! We killed this village and we managed to find some slaves for our base .

Bandit : Eat and drink my brothers!

Bandit : We need to move tomorrow,because these soldiers will find about this massacre and will send troops after us.

Bandit : Hey, hey, hey, calm down guys! Are all of you forgetting that we still need to honor our boss?

Bandit :Yeah, yeah, that's right, if not for the boss's close combat skills, we would've died already.

Bandit : True,their leader was a rank five warrior .

Meanwhile on Alex's side

Alex (Mind) : System do I have enough iron for some robots ?

Alex : So , mister Perimus do you want to wait for an hour before we attack ?

After one hour .

Alex (Mind): Jade! Could you summon the robots near us ?

Just when Alex heard Jade's confirmation , his skill start feeling some changes behind them . These changes were Alex's robots .

R1(Rank Two ) : Sir. We are ready .

Alex : Good .

Perimus : Hmm, let's do it .

When Alex's group arrived, fifty meters away from the camp, they spotted a single sentry which intermittently glanced towards the camp, as if waiting for the arrival of something.

Smiling to himself, Alex decided, 'He shall be the first, then.' Extinguishing his presence,Alex crouched and then he slowly approached his prey.

The sentry still looked as nonchalant as ever. He even yawned, looking somewhat sleepy as he stared at his surroundings. Without any warning, a deep sense of imminent danger surfaced in his mind.

But before he could withdraw his weapon, blood spurted from his jugular. His eyes widened in shock and his body slowly crumbled on the ground.

Some time later ...

Seeing the fire wreaking havoc inside the camp, Bandit exclaimed, "Intruders! The bastards has escaped !" His solemn and dignified tone became akin to that of a thunderclap which awakened the consciousness of the entire camp from slumber.

Perimus and the mechanical warriors were starting their fight .

Perimus lightly chuckled, he swung his sword and leaped towards the chaotic battlefield. In each slice, a body would crumble on the ground followed by fountains of blood spurting from their headless shoulders.

With their enemies' morale at the bottom, Alex's group swept their enemies, leaving none of them alive while having no casualties on their side. It could be said that this fight was a perfect fight.

Alex fell to the ground; his expression complicated as he stared at the numerous pile of corpses around him. Staring at his sword. Alex knew that he had taken at least a dozen lives. But strangely. He didn't feel guilty about taking the lives of those bandits. Instead, he felt that his actions were justified.
