This financial behemoth encompassed several powerful families and financial giants such as Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs that had a long history dating from the founding of the United States, as well as Standard Oil founded by John D. Rockefeller who was known as the Oil King before the arrival of Exxon Mobil. In general, Holdridge was based in the east coast of the United States where they controlled money from its early days.

On the other hand, the Shaipe Group was a financial group composed of the newly rich who grew rapidly from the late 20th century, and were based in the western coast of the United States.

And the US Government was the third powerful group whose members did not belong to either Shaipe or Holdridge.
