4 Chapter 4

"When you arrived in that world, you did not worry about the language, place to sleep, and what to eat. The village chief has already been notified about your arrival, and they are willing to welcome you as long as you heal them. The company also already notified them about your status. They will not force you to heal when you have already spent all your spells. When you arrive, tell them you come from the company, your name, and your patron."

"My current name or my previous name?"

"Your current name."

"I see. Thank you."

"No problem. No hold still, you will be teleported in 3… 2… 1…."

When Gabriel finished his countdown, my vision was consumed by white light, and suddenly I could see a wooden gate not too far away from me. I shake my head a little to make the dizziness disappear and walk toward the gate.

While walking, I equip my armor and weapon. While I did not want to fight them, I did not want to be looked down upon. I look down at my weapon and frown a little. I guess I did not need my weapon for now.

Instead of looking like a healer, I will look like someone who looks ready for war. My weapon is a two-point two-meter-long war ax, and I don't think that kind of weapon can be understood as a self-defense weapon.

The next thing I took off was my helm. I did not think it was a good idea to conceal your head when you meet someone for the first time.

Speaking of armor, I did not think that the company would give me cleric armor. I know that clerics are known for their defense and healing power in the game, but I don't need to wear full plate armor complete with the helmet.

I think it was more Paladin equipment than Cleric.

Anyway, I decided only to take my small bow and quiver full of arrows and place them behind my back before walking to the village not too far away from me. It takes me ten minutes to arrive in front of the massive gate and greet the man that guards the gate.

"Greeting"

"Greetings to you, stranger."

"I'm from the company. My name is Christopher Hanazawa, and my patron is YAHWEH."

"Ah! Welcome to Bla-Kalu Village, my lord. Let me take you to the village chief."

"Thank you, my good man."

I follow the guard, and I look at the village. The village itself is like what you see in medieval movies and TV series. Most buildings in the village are made of wood with a dried leaf roof.

It takes a minute for both of us to arrive in front of the biggest house in this village. The guard looks at me, then looks at my guide, and when they see my guide nodding his head, the guard opens up the door.

We walk inside the building, and I can see many people have wounds on their bodies. The wound itself looks like it came from a 3rd-degree burn.

"Thank you for coming here, honorable Cleric."

I look at the man in front of me and smile at him. The man in front of me is around his fifty by the look of it. He had white hair and stood two meters tall. He is wearing leather armor and a green shirt under the armor. He has blue eyes and a goatee on his chin.

"It is my pleasure, Village Chief."

"Call me Crun Va-Taruk, please."

"Then call me, Chris."

The village chief nodded his head and walked toward me.

"I know it was unbecoming of me, but please help us."

"I will. Please lead me to the worst-case injury. I know the company already told you this, but please understand that I cannot heal them all in one day as I'm a beginner."

"Of course."

I nod my head and follow Va-Taruk to the back room. When we arrive, I look at three people covered in wounds. If I did not see their chest go up and down indicating that they are still breathing, I would think that they are nothing but a corpse.

"Those three are the ones that have the worst injury. I will leave their life in your hand, my lord."

I nod my head and begin to work.

"Cure Wound"

I can see my hand begin to glow and then touch the chest area of the first person I heal. When my hand touches the man's chest, I know that his lungs, heart, and kidney have been damaged from the plague. Lucky for me, the plague has already been taken care of. If not, this man will be dead by now.

"6 times…"

"Pardon?"

"That is how many times I need to use my spell to heal his most important organs. I cannot heal their outside wounds just yet, but that should be enough to keep them alive. I also need a few plants that can numb their pain enough so they can sleep and have some food inside their body."

"Of course. We will gather as many herbs as you need."

"Good. I will write it down. I will write its name and description."

After saying that, I begin to work. The first thing I heal is his lungs, as it was the organs that were on the brink of being destroyed. My spell lasts for five minutes, meaning that I can check the other patient in case they have a worse injury.

When I'm done with the man's lungs, I walk to the other and begin to check their vital organs. The woman with dark blue eyes has her heart slowly start moving while the other man's kidney needs to be patched.

I start with the young woman and begin to heal her heart. Seeing my spell heal her heart at a slower pace than before, I know that it needs four or maybe five spells to heal the important organ of this woman.

|Va-Taruk POV|

"How is our savior?"

"He is currently sleeping, chief."

"Good. Make sure he gets comfortable."

"Understood."

I nod my head and let the young hunter walk away from the building. Christopher Hanazawa. At first, I thought the company would send another arrogant and idiot person once again, but it looks like they did not.

They sent a kind and caring person to heal my people from the plague the other agent causes. I release a tired sigh before looking at the people that are sleeping inside my home. I can see their injuries have already healed a little, and some of the people that have the least injury can already walk and even run.

However, what makes me even more grateful for Chris is for him healing my child, who has a severe injury among the people that were infected by the plague. All of the members of our village are infected, but some of us can walk around as we did not get infected much, and a little bit of healing paste is enough to close the wound.

Not only healing them directly by touching their body, but Chris also heals them by singing some song.

While there are still many people that have injuries, it was progressing.
