Dad always said god cleanses the unclean so why don't they want it? It's INFURIATING. They struggle so much when they areCLEANSED.
Mommy and daddy struggled too....

" So what do we have here?"
As he said that he looked at the body of the family in front of him and just felt like throwing up. The youngest child a three year old was hanging by it's intestines. The young girl looking to be 9 or 10 had eight knives in her stomach arrayed in the shape of a cross. The oldest boy looking to be about 17 was in a chair sitting up with his head in his hands with a cross burned into his naked chest. Finally the mother and father. The mother's breasts had been branded with crosses on each with a deep cut in her neck. Th father had his arms chopped off, neck cut by a buzz saw, genitals ripped off, and mouth carved into a grotesque smile.
One of the female police officers answered him.
" Homicide, obvious struggle with the father, and very blatant religious symbolism. In the attic there was obvious signs of entry so we expect he came in form there and killed them as he came down."
He thought on her words for a second before answering back.
'' Is anything missing?"
She looked in thought for a second before responding.
"Not much other than some knives and food."
He looked on in thoughtfulness before telling the officer he was going upstairs and seeing if he could find anything of interest.

"Detective."
As he heard that he turned around startled not knowing someone was up here as well as after searching for a while. After turning around there was another officer there with black hair, brown eyes, muscular build, and a not to bad looking face.
"Sorry you scared me how can I help you?"
He looked at him for a second before responding.
"Just checking on you sir the captain said you've been up here for a while so she sent me to get make sure you were ok."
"Oh yes I'm ok I was just looking around and thinking of the scene downstairs."
He watched as the officer's face seemed to grimace for a second.
"Yes downstairs a horrible scene the worst I've seen in years. Only the O'Neal case came close"
He nodded that case was horrible he still had nightmares after seeing the report on the news.
"Well I'll be down in a minute or two Officer..?"
"Bridges sir Sargent Ashton Bridges."
"Detective Hadrian Azzralian nice to meet you son."
The cop went downstairs after that and he was left to think on everything that he had seen. The was obvious religious significance in the act just based on the crosses alone. The intense mutilation of the mother and father showed A. a ritual importance of a more gruesome kill of the parents, Or B. An inherent dislike of parents. While option A is the most likely killers often had a bad home life growing up so I shouldn't strike that out right away.
Either way the killer most likely came in through the front door based on the dents on the door that show recent forceful opening after it had already been opened a little. While the upstairs entry point seems most likely to the untrained eye the glass spread shows tampering with glass being moved closer to the window than should be reasonably expected. That and the alter shows things such as a tv's and tables and the like meaning it was most likely placed there as a distraction or after the family was subdued.
