Chapter 1.1 The Fateful Meeting

Samiksha Mishra..one of the youngest Female IAS officers.. She has everything any girl ever dreamed of... A reputed job, a dream job for many- A job that she is good at.. So much so that even her senior officers look up to her; She is an inspiration to many. She is what you call a beauty with brains. But even though she is remarkable in most of the fields of her life.. She still lacks that one thing... Yes you guessed it right, "LOVE.". As much as clichéd it may sound she has never had that heart thumping love... she did try to go out with a guy in the academy but that did not work out .Its not that she had no one to love... Its just that she never gave love top or any priority at all.. For her, career and her family were the only things that were important.

She was one of the youngest IAS officer of her batch... at just the age of 22.. So it is no shock that she is an inspiration to a lot of youngsters out there who aspired to become like her some day.

Suresh Iyengar is an attacking top-order batsman capable of marrying classical shots with brute force. He made his name in a really short span of time. He has a broad spectrum of fan base from little boys to cheek shrunken grandpas.... It was no surprise that he had his share of female admirers. He always kept his relationship status private. Many wondered he was dating some actress like many of his teammates. For the past few months he was what they call in a player's slump. His bat could no longer strike sixes and four and he could barely get his runs to thirties.

It was may be because of his hectic work schedule... So his captain asked him to take some rest.

But how could he rest? He still had a lot in his plate. He had a lot of ads to shoot. .. A lot of meetings to attend and even be a chief guest in his Alma Mater R.A.P. College.

8.30am

Tring!!! Tring!!... "Ugh.. Stupid phone.. Oho nooooo!!!"

"Shit!! shit!! shit!!? .....

I am going to be late... Mom you should have woken me up!.. Said Samiksha prancing between the hotel bathroom and cupboard."

"I have been calling you out for the past 30 mins. ... Its you who's been saying '5 mins... 5mins'.... Aaur dekh der raat tak web series" said her mother.

"Arre you are now an IAS officer... SDM at that...When are you going to grow up?" Said her father jokingly.

"Ok ok seriously ,I don't have time for your lecture ,you guys!.. Dad order room service.. Mom,Help me drap the sari...I also have to review my speech!" said Samiksha coming out of the bathroom after a really quick shower.

If you guys are wondering what this early morning ruckus is about... Samiksha has been asked to be one of the chief guests for The Foundation day of R.A.P College, Mumbai. This is not the first time she has been asked to address such a big crowd.. She has been doing that ever since she got selected.. She has a lot of fans... Well she is like a "mini celebrity"... Even so she wanted it to be right...

At the same time in Suresh 's house,

"Sir you have a crowd to address in your alma mater at 10 am" ... Said his manager.

"Yeah I know.. What about Ama and appa... When are they arriving?" Asked Suresh ,ready to hit the shower after an intense workout.

"Sir they will be arriving directly at the venue, from the airport ." Said his manager Rishi.

"Ok make sure they reach there safely" said Suresh... Getting into the shower.

"Of course sir" assured Rishi.

"Am I looking alright? Asked Samiksha looking at her reflection in the mirror wearing a beautifully draped blue kanjivaram saree.

" You look stunning Beta" ....said her mother giving her a nazar na lage gesture.

"Aww thank you... I just want to look perfect and make this a perfect and memorable day for all the kids there.." Said Samiksha fixing her hair.

"Of course you will... Not only for them but it will also be a memorable day for us.. You never stop making us proud..." Said her father teary eyed.

Samiksha rushed to her father giving him a big hug...

"If you both are done... Shall we get going..?... The uber is waiting outside.." Said her mother picking up her purse and phone.

"Are you jealous?... Come on let me give you a hug too... Hehe..." Said Samiksha... Giving her mother a quick hug...

In the taxi Samiksha felt butterfly in her stomach... Just the way she felt before her result declaration..

She felt like she was nervous for her speech... Little did she know she would have a Fateful Meeting with a certain someone...
