So a little introduction about Palmer. Oh, fat Palmer. Now he is the head of Shrina's Electric Power Company. He tries to act as though he an executive. Even his department is the worst. He always fawning at the company's president, but he sucks at his job. Palmer is accompanying the company president, Rufus, to meet with Cid. They clearly just want his plane. They have no interest in restarting the rocket space program, but they just want Cid to think they do. People like Palmer have very short life spans. Which means he will die very soon. The Cloud and the girls know Palmer very well. To make a long story short. Cloud dress up as a girl with the girls and you know the rest of the story. Well, Palmer is kind of a shock to see them there with Cid.

"Hey, Cid oh buddy oh pal. Long time no see."

"Hey fat man. Why the hell you keep me waiting so long." Clayton had to admit to himself even though Cid could be a prick he sure was funny. So Cid wanted to know what the hold up was all about.

"So when are yall going to start the rocket program back up again. I need to get back up there, man." Palmer knowing that the president had no interest in this program he play along as though everything was still a go.

"Well, the president is right outside ask him." Cid cussing the fat man out and run out the door. Cloud and the girls just glared at Palmer. They knew was greasy as can be. he was at slick as a grease monkey. They didn't want to be bothered with Palmer so they left to find Cid.

As they walked, they saw Cid in a furry, The president had been lying to him the whole time.

"If you weren't here to restart the program, then what the hell are you here for?"

"Well of course your Tiny Bronco. We need it to find Sephiroth and we seemed to be going the wrong way. So need the plane to help us with that. So what do you say?" Cid was cussing to hi hell.

"Damn! First, it was the airship, then the rocket. Now you want my bloody plane? You took space from me and now you want the air from. What the hell!" Then Rufus tried to place blame saying if it weren't for them he had never been able to fly in the sky. While Cid was fussing at the president, Shera wanted Cloud's attention. Cloud came back into the house and Shera had something to say to him. She knew Cloud wanted to use the plane and Palmer was near the plane trying to steal and she suggested that go deal with him. So the group went out to where the plane was and Palmer. They saw Palmer sitting on top of the plane next to the propellers. He was clearly talking to himself and wonder why he had to be in charge of the power company. Cloud walked up to him and said.

"Well fat man get off our plane. We need it now." Palmer just ignored what they were saying. But then as he looked at Cloud he recognizes him from an incident back at Shrina's building. Palmer thought he was bad and decided he was going to fight Cloud and his team. Palmer hasn't read enough of how to fight, but more of how to eat. Cloud and his team would have beat him if hadn't escaped. But bad things happen to people who escape. A big semi-truck came out of nowhere and ran him over. Cloud tried his best to stop the plane but nothing was working. So they hop on and the plane took off. Rufus and Cid see as the plane flew over them. Cid ran after while a soldier was trying to shoot it down. When he got on the plane had been shot at and it was starting to lose power. The plane was about to crash and they hoped not over water. Well unfortunately you can't always have what they wish for. The plane was heading for a very big splash. So the team braces themselves for an emergency landing. Clayton was a little afraid. Water was not his friend. Hopely it wouldn't be too bad. The plane safely manages to land and everyone was safe. Stupid Shrina always trying to ruin someone else fun. Soon or later they will get what's coming to them. Cloud now had to figure out how to get out of this mess. So Cloud and the rest of them knew that the plane couldn't fly and Cid was devasted. So they use it as a boat. Cloud asks Cid what should they do. He could care less what they did because fed up with Shrina and done with that town. Poor Shera. Ar least she doesn't have to hear Cid cursing her all the time. She can finally relax. Clayton smiled inside because he was happy one good thing came out of all of this. Now Cloud had to think where would they go next. He thought and then he kinda remembers something about what the president said. But as he was thinking, Cid knew he had nothing to do so he decided to tag along with the group. Cloud finally remember that Sephiroth is looking for information about the Promised Land. And Rufus said they were heading to the Temple of the Ancients. Cloud felt funny this place they were heading, but he decided that would be their next destination.

The next destination would take some time getting to so they make a stop at a place called the Gold Saucer. It's basically a casino. They need something that is called a Keystone to get into the temple. The key was near a house but the owner of the casino took it. So the only way to get is to win by fighting. So Cloud took on the challenge. Clayton was not happy about this at all. He pauses the game cause he needed to consult with the narrator about this.

"Hey, Mr. narrator. We need to talk. Why is Cloud always volunteering for this shit? What can't the other characters do it? It's enough that I have to hurt when it not on purpose. But does he like pain? Does he crave it? Hey, tell me something!" Clayton waited patiently for the narrator to answer and then the narrator told him.

"Clayton I understand how you feel. But if the game had been designed the right way Sephiroth would have been the lead, not Cloud. So who would you prefer? Sephiroth or Cloud? If it were me I'm glad that it's Cloud. Now as the game goes maybe that might be a chance where you won't be the lead and someone will take it for the time. But that won't happen till later on. So shall we continue?" Clayton knew he had no other choice, but to play it this way. Cloud enter an area that was the way to get to the casino. They look for an inn because they were mad tired from all that rowing that plane as a boat.

The next morning, Cloud went around asking the people of this place where the entrance was to the Gold Saucer. They follow the direction and came up to a blue, flying subway. The flying

subway took them to the casino. As they were talking off it was so bright. It looks like New Year's Eve and they were celebrating it early. The noise was so fun and loud. They were all in awe. But Cloud knew he had a mission and that was to get the Keystone. So they got off the blue flying subway that went up to a lady next to the entrance and told them how it is to get in. So they the money and went in. They hop in the hole that was labeled "Fighting." CLoud ran up the step and prepared for the fight that was going to help him get the key he needed to enter the temple. He stood in front of a picture and out came the owner. Dio.
