The Twist And Turns

Raven's P.O.V

The vampire king looked suspiciously at Zes, probably debating whether to believe Zes or not.

"You can avoid a war if I am right about this" Zes tries again.

He looks deep in thoughts, Zes did the right thing, no ruler would want to put his/her people in danger. Zes watched him intently for his reply.

"This way" He motioned to the side of the house where it led to another room.

Nodding Zes follows him, on the que, I flap my wings and make my way to Zes. The vampire king looks back and eyed me and Zes, shaking his head he leads us to the office, motioning Zes to sit.

Zes looks at me and nods. I shift into my human form startling the others but didn't mind. I heard a clank of metal and I knew the danger, but before I could react Zes was standing in front of me with an arrow in her hand. I stood wide eyes she is fast…she is as fast as vampires.

Zes turns towards the vampire king who was surprised and didn't hide that fact, who was standing shocked.
