9 Is she 'Jelly'?

The certain location is just at the corner inside the School Building. Currently, I'm in front of someone, and that someone is just our friendly classmate Kushida Kikyō.

- MC's POV -

"S-sorry, for interrupting your lunchtime, A-ayanokoji-kun." Kushida said while fidgeting.

"It's alright like I said earlier, our lunch was almost finished. Just call me Kiyotaka, and I will call you... Hmm... Kikyō-chan? Is that alright with you?" I said the former assuring her, the latter while thinking what to call her, and decided with just "Kikyō-chan" to which she responded with a simple "Un" and a cute smile adorned her adorable face.

"So... You two appear to be real close, Ki-kun." She continued, leaning her body to the front, getting closer to me while having a cute inquisitive look on her face.

'Ki-kun huh... You're also getting closer to me too, literally though.' I thought while responding to her with a question "Suzune?" I asked stoically.

"Hmm... You're also on a first-name basis huh..." She mumbled and continue to stare at me with her cute inquisitive look while I stared back at her with my stoic face.

"Do you have free time, after school today, Ki-kun?" She asked after seconds of just staring at each other while her cute inquisitive look was nowhere to be seen, now having a hopeful look on her adorable face.

"I don't have a plan after school today so... Yeah I'm pretty much free later..." I answered while having a hard time controlling this hand of mine not to pat her, who is now having a cute beaming smile on her adorable face.

"Then... Do you mind accompanying me later?" She asked which I answered immediately with "No..." Which earned an adorable downcast expression on her oh! so adorable face, while my hand is now almost have broken free from the chains locking it from its place.

(No) "Way I am going to turn down an invitation from a girl as cute as you..." I continued, her beaming smile is back to her now blushing face... Now my hand has broken free from the chains, already patting her head which earned a surprised look on her face but immediately replaced by a beet-red blushing face and a coy smile directed at me.

'Now, I understand the feeling why you can't resist patting someone so adorable...' I thought while having a refreshed smile on my stoic face.

"A-ano... Ki-kun?" Kikyō let out, ending the refreshing silence while I continued to pat her.

"Sorry..." I said as I stop patting her, and she seemed to be disappointed, having a cute pout adorned to her blushing face, but I didn't move my hand out of her head and continued with "I just can't resist your cuteness, Ki~chan~." And I resumed to pat her which earned another cute smile to her blushing face which now reach the point where imaginary steam coming out to her head, looking at me with those upturned eyes of hers.

"It's alright... I think I l-like being patted in the head, you also saw it in my face that I have enjoyed it..." She admitted while she put both of her hands on the top of her head overlapping my hand that is patting her, preventing it from moving and now she's looking straight at me. "Mou~, why are you letting me say it... Ki-kun no ijiwarui~ (Ki-kun you meany)." She continued while both of her hands unhanded mine and starts lightly hitting my chest with her two hands, complaining at me while pouting cutely which I responded with a chuckle at how adorable she is. Now, my hand is freed again, resuming to pat her head to which she responded by quickening her light hits at my chest with more vigor.

"I know this is fun but I have to go back now, Ki-chan~." I told her while chuckling, ending our exchange. My hands are now back to their ground state, while she put a stop to her combo hits, putting her attention to me.

"Oh! Right, my friends invited me to have lunch with them..." She replied with a thinking pose, now only having a light blush to her adorable face.

"Then... See you later~, Ki-chan." I said while turning around and walk back in the opposite direction of her, and continued with "I am looking forward to our after School date~." I said while turning my head back at her to which I saw her blushing furiously and she responded with a simple "Un." While looking at me with an adorable smile impose on her furiously blushing face.

'Are those only act or is it genuine?...' I thought while resuming to walk, heading back to the classroom of Class 1 - D.

'I will just know it sooner or later...' I concluded.

- Kushida Kikyō POV -

'He had such warm and gentle hands, it felt soothing to be patted in the head with those hands of his...' I thought, touching the top of my head where he put those warm hands of his while looking at him walking away.

'I am just using him so I can get close to 'her'! He will just feel disgusted after he discovered my true self...' I thought the latter while shooking my head, composing myself, and the former having a longing look.

Inside the classroom of Class 1 - D, The constant murmuring of someone had just stopped.

- Horikita Suzune POV -

'W-why did this happen?!' I thought while looking at Kiyotaka who is looking at me in the door with his stoic face.

*Door closing*

*Footsteps* ---- *Sounds of a chair moving*

Now, he is sitting next to me, staring at me with a little smile on his stoic face while I'm frozen in place.

*Jiiiiiiiii~~~*

...*Silence*...

"Say something, you idiot!" I told him with a raised voice that couldn't hide the embarrassment I am currently feeling.

- MC's POV -

*Door opens*

Just after opening the door, I saw Suzune eating my lunch. Welp, I did give her my lunch... Yeah, She's just normally eating it but there's something amiss...

She's eating while using my chopsticks.

"What do you want me to say, Su~zu~ne~?" I replied to her which further increase the embarrassment she felt, she's now having imaginary steam coming out from her furiously blushing face.

"Welp, I said earlier that you also can use my chopsticks if you want... But as a joke so I am ah... Kinda speechless right now..." I continued which she reacted by putting my chopsticks in the lunchbox then hide her furiously blushing face with both of her hands while her constant murmuring of "Wa-wa-wa..." was now back but it immediately stops after what I said which were "And it also makes me truly happy~." I told her with a little smile of mine while she put back her hands and also responded to me with a beautiful smile of hers.

"Thanks." I told her when she put her lunchbox on my desk.

"W-well, you did give me yours, of course, I will give you mine... A-and you said you l-like my wieners (A/T: ...)... I left s-some in their..." She said while picking up the chopsticks she used which is mine, handing them to me.

"You use it and I also will use yours, fair right?" I asked her which she responded with a small nod while having a little smile impose on her now blushing face.

"Those are not 'some'..." I said while looking at the now open lunchbox of hers that she gave me, the weiners have not been reduced even one piece from what I saw before I have gone outside the classroom. "Of course, I will eat it all~." I continued which earned another reaction from her who's now eating using my chopsticks.

"Gochisousamadesu..." I said after eating the lunch that she made and look at her who's also finished eating.

"So what did you talk with Kushida-san earlier?" She asked me while I give her back the lunchbox and she also gave mine back.

"Hmm... Why are you asking, Suzune~?" I replied to her with a question while looking at her with a little smile.

"O-oh right... This is none of my b-business..." She responded while she puts her lunchbox on her bag that is on the other side of her desk, I can't see her face right now but just at the tone of her voice, she's downcasted by my answer... Well, I can just tell her but before that, let's tease her.

"If you want to know then... Make me say it by asking me while... Acting like a cat..." I said the latter which she immediately reacted to with a hopeful face, the former she reacted while looking at me with a deadpanned expression.

"What?... It's unfair if I just told you right? I'm just making it fair for me too." I continued with a shrug but she just continued to look at me with that deadpan expression of hers.

"Hah... W-well, that's true it is unfair if you just told me, but why m-make me act like c-cat..." She responded with a sigh, now having a little blush on her cheeks.

"Cause' I like cats." I replied immediately to her with a serious stoic face to which she responded with a knowing expression then it was immediately replaced by a furiously blushing face because she now knows why I want her to say it while acting like a cat.

"T-then here I go, c-could nya~ p-please tell mya~ nyhat~ did nya~ talk with Kushida-nyan~ nyan?" She asked while her two hands are up in the air, closed looking like the paws of a cat, and also her statements are that of a cat.

I continued to stare at her who is now hiding her furiously blushing face on the desk with her arms closing it.

"That's... Perfect! Are you a cat in your past life, Suzuneko~ (Cat Suzune)?" I said which she responded immediately with "J-just tell me what did you talk!" Shouting because of embarrassment.

"Ok, Ok... Well, she wanted me to accompany her after School today so it's like... An after School date." I told her while she just stares at me that change into a glare, she was now hostile at me like she just remembers I'm her mortal enemy like a cat.

'Is she... Jealous?' I thought while looking at the hostile cat in front of me.
