greetings aspiring librarians, I am Historian Friederick Mandela and I am responsible for giving you the basics of some very, very ancient history. in fact, that history is soo ancient that is only relevant to people like us -wink- ( soft laughter).

anyways I will begin explaining the objective of this course. First and foremost is to have a basic framework to be able to order the main historical landmarks that will be studied later as well as to be able to understand what led to them.

Second, to be able to distinguish and understand both the high and low points of each major historical era, as well as those turning points that changed history forever.

and third, to be able to correctly catalog all remnant pieces of information still unlisted within the infinity library.

ok, then, on to the first point.

history can be divided in 9 parts of unequal length. the first one is the prehuman era, the rest have been catalog quite boringly as the first, second, third, etc etc. all the way up to the eight.

The prehuman era is pretty much unknown to us, as the first human civilizations were not so kind as to store historical records of other civilizations. likewise, due to the horrendous aftermath of the war God's war very scant records are left of the first era.

The second era is marked by the colonization of the very hostile "dark" dimensional realm by the fleeing humans all the way to first contact to what will be later known as the Federation domain. The third era is marked by the first recorded interdimensional war and its aftermath. the fourth era, on the other hand is mark by the formation of the 4 human super nations, their rise and fall.

The fifth Era got it's starting point in the consolidation of the first modern iteration of the human imperial republic, better known as the Reim; including the human unification wars, the 2nd, 3rd and 4th war for earth and the outsider invasion, ending In the first siege of Terranova. which is formally considered the start of the sixth era.

the sixth era include both the victories against the outsiders as well as the whole 3rd REIM-Federation dimensional war.

The seventh era begins from the aftermath of the 3rd dimensional war, encompassing the 4th war as well as the "human" dimensional war and ends with the fall of Terranova and disintegration of the Reim from internal dissention.

and of course, the eight era begins with the reconsolidation of power in a new iteration of the Reim and is currently ongoing.
