1 First strike

Alyson's POV

"Aly, are you going to join us in the pool later?" Vana asked. We're celebrating our graduation from high school here in one of my dad's resorts and this coming school year? We're going to college and we haven't chosen our university to go to. Hell. I'm going to choose one where I'm going to make it memorable.

I sighed. I'm going to miss high school. Everything is just memorable from good girlfriends and down to my perfect authority act in the school. Every student in the city knows us and think highly of us even though they fear us. We do hunting and we do bullying for a good reason. We're not bad, we are super bad.

I'm Alyson Montana. Everyone calls me by my nickname, Aly. My father runs our company, Aurora Corporation. He got the name from my mom. Oh, where's my mom? She left us 9 years ago without even saying goodbye. I don't even know what got into my dad's head and he named the company out of the love for a woman who left him. Despite that, I'm planning to take Business Administration in College and practice taking over the company and hit the global market. In that way, I can find what country my mom is sleeping right now.

To make things more interesting, I'm going to introduce my girls. The person who just asked me a question, she's Vana Garcia. Among us, she's patient and I don't know if the word "good" fits in her character but when she's out of temper and you triggered her, you better run. You're going to shiver in fear even in your dreams.

"Hey stupid waiter, why am I having an orange juice?" Chloe said and she didn't even look at the girl who served her a juice. The girl was trembling already after hearing the cold voice of Chloe and took her a long minute before she could answer.

"I--I'm sorry. There must h---"

Well, that was expected. Chloe threw the juice to the girl's face and even the glass to the ground. She grabs her necktie and pulled it down a little. "Get me pineapple juice... now!" she ordered and let go of the girl. She went back to her pool chair with her usual grumpy face. "Is there even a day where we are not going to encounter stupid people?"

Chloe Samsworth, the cold one. She used to be less bad but after being betrayed by her first love, she changed. She became cold, emotionless and she doesn't even cry even in small things that make me cry a bit. No one even dares to bother her because she's ruthless and a very unforgiving person.

"Admit it, Chloe. We're the only ones who are not stupid here. I guess we were born to teach them or rather... eliminate them." Olivia commented.

"Oh my gosh. Is that Olivia?" I heard someone from the back. I rolled my eyes and put on my sunglasses. "It is she. Olivia Brown!"

They excitedly walked towards her and started fangirling in front of her. "Hi, I'm from Australia and I'm a fan of you. If it's okay, I would like to take a picture with you."

Olivia Brown. Model one, fashionista, and every man's dream. We call her by her nickname, Liv. She used to be a nerd but she started modeling in elementary school ever since she returned from one year of studying abroad. Additionally, she never had a boyfriend since birth even though she has everything.

"Okay." Liv agreed and she took the fan's phone. They did a lot of selfies and returned the phone later.

Vana snapped her finger in front of my eye and I glared at her. "Aly, I was asking. Why you're not joining us later?"

"I prefer doing rounds in the resort and checked if all of my dad's employees here are doing their jobs."

She laughed a little. "Aly, we're here for a vacation... and celebration. You're not going to ruin it by doing a power trip just because one day, you're going to own this place."

I put down my glass and stood up from my beach chair. "Enjoy the pool." I smiled and walked away.

I passed by several stalls and stores until I landed at the bar. I went inside and customers are starting to fill up the tables so early in the morning. One of the waiters greeted me and escorted me to my table. As soon as I sat down, the manager prepared some cocktails at my table.

"As part of the monthly checks, here are the new cocktails that will be served on the menu this month." He explained.

"Thank you. Now, leave."

"Yes, ma'am."

He gestured the waiters to leave and smiled at me. Of course, I smiled back. One of the things you need to know about me is... I'm not that bad towards my dad's employees. I have respect for them since they are the ones who actually run the resort and they are the ones who serve the customers.

Like what the manager said, I always get to taste all of the new cocktails since, after all, the cocktails were distributed from the company. I pick up the first glass in the line and was about to take a sip when a shameless and ignorant guy sat down in front of me.

"Hi." He said. I eyed him from head to toe and his quite hot. He also has good looks but too bad, I'm not interested in him.

I went back to taste the cocktails and ignored him, hoping he would leave on his own.

"Whoa, that's so cool of you. No one has ever done that to me before. Can't you see that you're lucky because you get to have a conversation with a guy like me?" He stated in an arrogant tone. "What's your name?"

"I'm sorry but can't you see that I'm not really interested? So please leave cause I have a cocktail tasting to do." I said and gestured him to back off but he just gave me a laugh.

"What's wrong with you? Don't you know me?"

'Who are you for me to bless you by giving you my attention?"

This guy is now starting to piss me off! He's ruining my d---

"I'm Dylan Wilson. Too late to realize you're dealing yourself with a dangerous guy?"

....Or he's the one who's going to make my day.

I can't believe I met him here in my place. So, the rumors were true. He's arrogant and thinks of himself as high and mighty. He's the leader of the so-called "Bad Boys" and people think we're competing with them since they are also influential and resourceful.

I want to laugh right now but I need to pretend I don't know him but I don't think I can hold it.

And, I laughed. So loud that even the outsiders and passer-by can hear it.

"What are you laughing at?" he asked. "Are you digging your own grave?"

He's mad. He's really mad. If you could only look at his face, he's embarrassed.

"I'm starting to wonder." I stopped laughing. "Why are they all afraid of you... when you're not scary at all?" then I laughed again. It's really funny that I get to meet him in a situation like this. Let's see how far he can deal with me.

"Dylan!"

I frowned as two guys approached us. They're one of him but where is the other one? All I know is that they are four.

"Who's this chick? What's your name?" Wait. I know this guy, Nico Johnson. He's the famous seducer and I don't understand why women would fall for a guy like him.

"Don't bother knowing her name. Let's go! I'm not in a mood to deal with a girl like her and she's ruining my vacation mood." Dylan told him and he was about to stand up from his seat.

"But I'm in a mood to deal with you." I provoked him and crossed my arms.

"Say what? Are you hearing yourself?" said the other one.

"And are you deaf? No wonder you're the famous brainless guy." I told him and I can see that he's also pissed off. He's Evan Hill and yes, according to the rumors, he's brainless and foolish. Well, the only person who's intelligent among them is not here. I wonder why he's not with them.

"You're a tough girl, huh?" Dylan scoffed. "What is wrong with you? You must be crazy. You don't know who you're dealing with."

"No, It is you who don't know who you're dealing with."

He didn't let out another word from his mouth and he just looked at me with curiosity. I stand up from my seat and offered my hand. "I'm Aly. Alyson Montana."

"Wh--"

"I'm one of those girls. Enjoy your vacation in my resort and oh, free cocktails for you... and your pets."

I gave him a mocking smile before I could walk away from them. I even heard Nico saying "Wow Dylan, one point for them."

My girls are going to be so excited about this because the war... just got started.
