1 The start of it all

It was late afternoon and I was walking home from my training lessons with Sierra, she's been training me in combat since I could walk. Considering I'm only 5 most people would find it obsurd that I'm being trained in archery,hand to hand combat and more but I'm the clan leaders daughter the next chief of the Luna Eclipse clan and so I'm raised from birth to take over from my farther the greatest chief ever to lead are clan.

"Ssssssssssss,"

'What was that' I thought

"Ssssssssssssssssssssss" there it was again, 'wait it sounds like it's in pain'. Walking over towards the sound I moved some pushes aside and came face to face with a emerald green snake with ruby red eyes and as I looked down its long scaly body I saw that it's tail wad stuck under a heavy rock.

'Poor little guy' I thought to myself 'what can I do I'm not suppose to help any snake because of a war that happened eons ago. So now we are still at war with the serpent clans and by being the daughter of the chief not only of the Luna Eclipse clan but of all wolf clans. If I help a snake what would that say about me and my family...'

"Ssssssssssss" I was inturupted by the snake as it cried out in pain.'No I have to help it I can't just leave it here' haveing made up my mind I carefully walk closer to the snake as to not scare it.

"Ssssssssssss" it hissed in dephence moving back towards the rock "Shhh, I'm here to help you I don't want to hurt you in anyway." I said"Hhsssssss"it replied however it moved a little closer "My name's Selene, please let me help you all I want to do is removed that bolder that's got your tail trapped. I won't hurt you, you can watch me. Is it ok if I come closer I can't really do anything from here my arms aren't that long."

Slowly the snake uncurled itself and moved as close to me as possible, I smiled at this and slowly as not to frighten him. I moved towards the rock that was trapping him and as I bent to pick it up with the snake watching me closely my night black long hair fell over my shoulder.

Gathering my strength I moved the heavy rock and turned around and placed it behind me freeing the snakes tail. "Ssssssssss" it hissed and it sounded gleeful it curled around my legs and then curled up in front of me with its head stuck up at the top of the pile.

I bent down and stroked it's head "Is that better" I asked looking into the serpents ruby red eyes as it looked back into my silver eyes "Hhhhhhssssssss" it hissed back happily almost like it was saying 'thank you'.

"I'm sorry to leave you little guy but you look fine and my farther will worry if I'm not home by sun down .Good bye little friend." I said before running off towards my home.
