3 Becoming friends

(Pov Selene)

It was the morning after I'd helped that poor trapped snake, I was looking into the mirror as I tied my coal black hair which when down flowed past my waist into a high pony tail.

'Knock,Knock' there was a knocking at my door "Please, come in" I called out with a bright smile on my face as I brushed my long black as night hair, which I had just put into a high pony tail.

"Hello Selene," my best friend Sara said with a bright smile she's the same age as me and has dark black hair, like mine but not as long hers ends at her shoulders and today it's in a fish tail braid. She's wareing a pair of black leggings and a green top which complements her emerald green eyes.Her shoes are black with white stripes and end just before her ancles.

"Hi Sara,"I said smiling back she can always make me smile no matter what."Hurry up and get dressed Selene.You take forever to get ready," Sara moaned at me. I wasn't slow I just woke up a little late "OK Sara can you grab me my pink top and get my black leggings while I grab a pair of shoes." I asked her.

"Sure thing," she said walking over to my Wardrobe and opened it while I got up and went to my shoe cabnit and picked out a pair of dark blue cons that end just before my ankles."Here you go," she said passing me the clothes "now hurry up and get dressed otherwise we'll be late for training."

"OK,OK" I said giggling at her while walking over to my dresser and got dressed when I walked out Sara said sarcastically "Finally, you took long enough getting ready I thought I'd be an old wolf by the time you were ready."

"Hahaha I get it I took a while now let's get going." I said opening the door and letting her go through first.

We were idly chatting when we reached the door when we were inturupted "Have a good day," Farther said from behind us as I turn around I saw him dressed in a suit with his fatherly smile. "We will.See you later dad," I said smiling before Sara dragged me out the door.

We were giggling as we ran through the forest not paying any atenchan to where we were going when 'Bang' we ran straight into someone and all fell over "owch" we all said and then began laughing."We're really sorry we weren't looking where we were going we were in a rush." I explained "Are you hurt?"

"No I'm not hurt and sorry I wasn't looking where I was going either.Are you hurt?" the young boy with hazel brown hair abd blood red eyes asked."We're fine," Sara responded as she got up and brushed off her clothes.

The young boy stood up and brushed down his black trousers and sea blue top. Then he offered his hand for me to take to help me up and I took it and he pulled me up."Thank you, I'm Selene and this is Sara my best friend."

"It's nice to meet you I'm Apep," he said in a kind voice "I must be going I have to meet with some family friends.I hope we meet again soon Selene and Sara I'm sure we'll become good friends over time." he said with a smile "I hope we meet again to and I'm sure we will become best of friends but we also have to meet up with someone.So I guess it's by for now Apep."

I said as Sara began pulling me away so we won't be late to training with Sierra.Within five minutes we found ourselves at the training sight. Sara and I have been training together for as long as I can remember it's how we met and how we became friends.

"Just on time girls," Sierra said to us before getting into an attack position and launching herself at us. Quick as a whip we got into a defence position and jumbed to the side rolling on the ground quickly getting back on our feet."Impressive girls you've been practicing, " an all to familliar smile was on her face and we knew that training had begun

The next few weeks Sara,Apep and I would meet in the woods and hang out. Apep didn't know that we are half wolf and we didn't know he was half serpent. One day we were all hang out when I heard a booming voice from behind yell "SELENE!!!SARA!!!"

We jumped around to see my farther standing behind Sara and I not even 2 meters away. Why was he yelling? We hadn't done anything wrong.Had we?

"Farther, Whats wrong?" I asked him in comfusion. Behind him I could here wolves howling. I looked at Sara and the same look of comfusion I had on my face was mirrored on hers as well.
