24 Wings of Chaos

Calvis had been researching the Nafrite and Gravin races that had recently been capturing and using them to make the new soldiers for his sovereign power. All royals had to claim territory to make their power official and so he had begun his conquest. After telling his father of the Galaxy that he had discovered and the power that he now had his father was overjoyed and full of fatherly pride that shone even through the viewing screen they kept contact with.

Calvis had dissected both races and found that they had developed in similar ways. It was almost as if they had a common ancestor even though they were so far apart in this Galaxy. Calvis decided that he would give this Galaxy a name when he conquered it and found its Emerit race. A race that was the true ruler over the Galaxy. Most galaxies have one especially one as old as this one.

Calvis sat on his gleaming throne expressionless. Boredom had set in. He was at a crossroads in his research. He could either continue to run cross-analysis on the species in this solar system or he could begin to fuse the organisms in order to attempt creating a new life form. Doing this would allow for the observation of creative energy. At the same time, the process would require significant energy and time to run to completion. Calvis stood up from his gleaming throne and decided instead to leave his dimensional space and instead meditate in the void of space looking out into the stars.

As he looked out into space he saw more than any other being. He saw the different types of radiation that were present in outer space. He saw gleaming stars in beautiful multicolors. 'It is hard not to see the beauty of the universe when you see so much more than any other race,' he thought.

Suddenly as he was floating aimlessly in the void he began to absorb its energy. At first, it was slow but then its speed began to pick up. He began sucking energy from the void itself and the solar system that was only a light-year away. He began to suck up the essence of creation and the dark matter that bound it from implosion and created primordial destructive energy. A blood-red glow surrounded him as his power suddenly expanded. The solar system nearby collapsed as its sun exploded in a supernova.

Suddenly a pair of unholy black wings appeared on his back. The wings seemed to absorb all the light that hit them making their feature indistinguishable if it were not for the golden lines that seemed web their joints.

Calvis awakened from his trance and felt ecstasy, 'What happened? It seems my power grew once again. I feel my connection to chaos has grown stronger.'

Looking at the wings on his back he felt that they were a physical manifestation of his chaos power and its fusion with the created energy in his body.

With this new power, Calvis's senses became much more acute he looked at this galaxy anew and found forces that were hidden before behind the distance of background radiation.

Calvis now knew that there was another dimensional civilization at play. An Elder race had to be involved as who else could create false messages for him. The vision that he had seen outlined what he must do. A plan was instantly formed to deal with these new players. He contacted the Alpha. instead of the fake one that had been made by the Xuhan techno race an elder race similar to his Parthian one.

Alpha quickly informed him that he was being kept captive in an Ezclar class energy prison but was being treated nicely. Calvis decided it was time to greet his neighbors. Calvis smiled greedily in the direction of the Techno planet where Alpha was being kept.

Gilgamesh glared at the chief as he towered over him waiting for his answer.

"I didn't have a choice that dragon said that it would destroy our village if we did not help it kill you, Dragon Slayer." The chief said while looking sincere but than despondent. He thought of all the people that were killed because of him. The second the chief said to the dragon that Gilgamesh had been killed the village-sized dragon began wantonly killing his villager the people he'd known his whole life.

"I'm sorry but, I would kill a thousand more of you if I could save even one more of my villager's lives." The chief screamed before falling silent and then despondent once again.

"JUST KILL ME!!!!" The chief screamed at Gilgamesh as Gilgamesh's face remained solemn and expressionless.

A ship appeared in a desolate space a place where there should be life but inexplicably there was none. The commander of the investigative forces looked at the empty space that used to be a bustling planet and felt anger stir for the first time in 50 interstellar years since the great Emerit race wars.
