14 Private Empire

As Calvis was now a royal he had to conquer his own territory. All Royals had to. When he told Talsia that he would harvest all the people for experimentation he wasn't serious. He just wanted her to panic and beg him to not take their lives. He only needed 100,000 or so experimental subjects.

Looking at Talsia for her reaction he found that she had calmed down dramatically

'It seems that her people don't matter as much to her as I thought.' he wondered as he saw her puzzling reaction.

Talsia said, "If you kill everyone on that planet I will be your servant for the rest of my life." There was a hint of madness in her eyes similar to a dog that had been beaten one too many times.

Talsia saw how powerful the man in front of her was as he had a pocket dimensional space bigger than the space of her planet and he radiated power that obviously belonged to the Elder races.

There were ancient tales of an Elder race that existed since the creation of the universe itself and an encounter with one could raze civilizations or create empires that last millennia.

Talsia once cared about her planet and its people but they showed her nothing but hate, and any love for the planet and its people had died long ago. Maybe now she would finally be free. Maybe she would find a new home here in this dimensional space as his servant. Being a servant was certainly better than being treated as trash which people beat to vent their anger and frustration.

Talsia had long wondered where her civilization had gone wrong and thought perhaps that everything should be wiped out and start from the beginning anew.

Hearing Talsia, Calvis took a liking to her. He saw the same madness in her eyes as there were in his after the transformation.

Talsia was surprised when a viewing window appeared before her and the familiar planet that she had seen from space many times before started to expand rapidly before imploding killing everything on the planet. Shock and emptiness were present simultaneously when Talsia saw her planet destroyed.

Throughout these events, her tail that had been nervously flickering but it suddenly stiffened. Talsia laughed maniacally as a silent tear fell down her cheek.

As soon as she got her senses back, she reverently bowed to her new lord. She knew she would follow him for a lifetime no matter how short that was. After all, she was only a Nafrite which typically lived no longer than 2000 interstellar years.
