6 Living Gods

Commander Vex was lounging comfortably on a throne in his spacious pocket dimension. All Pathians were able to create their dimensions where they had complete control of matter and energy inside.

Commander Vex had made the entire space a realm filled with creatures from his conquests of violent and unyielding worlds. Besides these trophies, his pocket dimensional world was filled with an assortment of native species from the Parthians true homeworld something, not every Parthian was qualified to visit.

The size of a Parthian's pocket dimensional space was entirely dependent on the bloodline of each Parthian. The purer the bloodline the greater the ability to absorb and process energy and build bigger and more complex pocket dimensions. The majority of Parthians had a pocket dimensional space of only a few miles but pure-blooded nobles like Commander Vex were able to build pocket worlds as large as lower class planets, similar to Earth. Vex was residing in a palace, a typical construction in most Parthian pocket dimensions.

When he received a transmission from the Falcon Family Elder Council already one interstellar week had passed. During that time they had already begun researching the planet and the surrounding celestial bodies.

Each of the twenty Parthians under Vex's command was highly skilled. Under his orders, they set out to explore the planet and spread their influence.

One Interstellar Week Ago

The chief of the village met the Heavenly Beings as they were walking towards his pavilion. The leader of the group had authoritative golden eyes, fair skin, a tall lean physique, and golden hair.

Even though all of the people in front of him were a foot taller than himself, he straightened his chest and asked, "What is your business in this village?" He tried his best to seem confident in spite of the unconscious fear and respect he felt toward the people in front of him.

Observing the village, one of the men with silver hair and deep azure eyes pursed his lip and spoke contemptuously to Commander Vex, "This is all pointless. These people have no semblance of a higher society capable of space travel. They are of no use to us. Considering their low development, what's the use in finding out the psychology of this non-categorizable civilization?"

Parthians categorized different civilization depending on their ability to generate and control energy with the lowest graded societies being capable to control the energy on one's own planet. It was clear that these natives were not even close to these lowest grade societies.

Commander Vex became angry with Lieutenant Socabes' outburst. After reprimanding him he said, "Take 3 men and go to the this planet's moon and establish a base there. Explore the moon and man the base for one interstellar month!" Socabes dejectedly received the order. He knew that exploring the moon would be a monotonous endeavor not worthy of his skills.

Listening to the visitor's ethereal language, the village chief was overtaken with worry. He knew who these people were. They were living gods that came to judge them.

Commander Vex switched to the native tongue and talked to the chief, "My name is Commander Vex. What is your name?"

The chief humbled himself, bowed deeply and responded, "My name is Gavish. I am the Chief of this village. We welcome you and hope you will be our honored guests."

Seeing the deference and honor that the chief bestowed upon the visitors, the villagers began to workship the newcomers as gods.

Commander Vex, unfazed by the admiration of the villagers, continued giving orders to his subordinates on what they should do.

"Lieutenant Feighn, you will go and research the ocean and make a research base there. Take five men. Lieutenant Mavine, you will take two men and set up a subterranean research unit. Lieutenant Avalat, you will take five men and perform research on the surface species and plant ecology. Lieutenant Socabe, you have your orders to set up a base on the moon."

An Interstellar Week Later

On the same planet, an unusual congregation took place. Creatures possessing large wings, scales and powerful bodies gathered to discuss the latest events. One of them began to speak, "Something isn't right. The humans have become much more powerful and they are advancing much faster than predicted."

The creature on the right said, "We knew they would grow exponentially. What do you expect from such a quickly reproducing species?" Another of the creatures spoke out and said, "This isn't good. At this rate, we won't be controlling them for much longer. We should attack while we still can."

Most of the creatures agreed, the assembly dissolved and everyone began flying off.

The gathered creatures were no other than dragons - the mythical race that was worshipped by all earthlings.
